Heathers: The Musical is a slick, energetic production with excellent singers and impressive production values. Unfortunately, it’s working with material that feels painfully clichéd and far less clever than it believes itself to be.
The show barrels through sensitive themes including suicide, eating disorders, sex, date rape, violence, extremism and abusive relationships with an uneasy mix of sarcasm and shock humour that never quite lands. Yes, it is meant to be dark satire, and yes, the audience around me was clearly enjoying it, but the script simply isn’t sharp enough to balance comedy with material this heavy.
The original film managed a nastier, more intelligent kind of dark humour. Here, the satire often feels shallow, as though outrage itself is supposed to substitute for insight. The result is a musical that mistakes cynicism for sophistication.
There is no faulting the performers, who gave the material absolute commitment and frequently elevated it beyond the script itself. But despite the polish and enthusiasm on stage, I left feeling that the cast deserved stronger writing and a show with something more meaningful to say.

We received updates and details for the event prior to going, this was great and made access easy for our event.

It was easy to select tickets for various events and retrieve them when needed.

I made a mistake with my tickets and got onto the Ticketmaster page chat the person who helped me SB was just amazing so kind helpful and really helped me, they were amazing so thank you so so much I appreciate it such an awesome person to deal with they got onto it straight away for me

Fantastic show . The VIP staff were friendly and really organised. The meet and greet was run smoothly and efficiently.
Phil was fantastic, and he was so lovely .

Although I had a little difficulty finding good seats on line, on arrival there were lots of empty seats which I could have booked, but did not appear empty on the online booking.

The actual performance and sound quality was excellent top notch, the ability to get any refreshments and toilets on the other hand a different matter extremely poor from the standing area... very disappointing and had the performance not been legendary ... would have been a total fail

Great concert, Freddy's deserve more success. Just a shame about people standing in front of us for pretty much the whole concert - we're not that young enough to be on our feet for two-and-a-half hours at a stretch.

It was easy to purchase tickets and had good info about the event. Only issue was the initial email received had conflicting information but after i emailed to let you know it was conflicting, a new email was sent out to address it and clear it up

Please put door open time AND show start time on info. Tickets showed 7pm start but show did not start until 7.30pm. As we were traveling over 3 hours to get to venue after work, it would have been great to know that we had an extra half hour to make it a little less rushed.

The venue was freezing. Had to leave before the end as my fingers were blue. This is despite standing and dancing throughout. Totally ruined what would have been a spectacular show.
Previous trips to the stadium for rugby have been warm

Our son and his friends experienced security that were too heavy handed and expelled them for no good reason at all.
These are your future long term customers that have had a really bad experience first time around.
I asked a police man for some information and he completely disregarded me.
The bar and food areas were poorly managed, I waited 45 minutes for a foreign beer.
This was something I had been waiting 4 years to see and you really dropped the ball.
If your job was to get this right then someone should be held accountable.
Why couldn’t we go up the stairs and use those facilities.
The performances were good but the event should have finished with Synthony.
Not the first up experience we were expecting, a lot of work to get done to make the experience better.

I had no problem getting tickets and were kept updated right up to the concert. The mobile tickets worked perfectly at the entrance so very happy
Maybe all tickets should be offered at start rather than allocate more nearer to date of event at competitive prices!!!
