I was seen fairly quickly, the vet explained to me my options on the treatment for my pet, I left the vets feeling quite happy with my pets consultation,

Great staff but contact bad!

I had a cat previously and I didn’t go there as often but now having a dog it requires me to go regularly. On a number of occasions I have had to to drive there as I cannot get through. The telephone lines are sometimes down as because they don’t have a automated system you don’t know how long you are waiting. It just rings. They have stated they are trying to get a line sorted but have had to use mobiles due to problems with BT. This scares me just in case I have an issue with an emergency. I’m going to have to cancel my subscription and go somewhere else. The staff are lovely but this is not good enough!

Very happy with my experience at The Vet Bristol ! I never feel pressured to pay for things that I feel are not needed etc, the staff are always helpful and friendly and treat my pet like royalty 😊

Always happy with service and price

I have been coming this vet for a few years now, after my cat required some treatment and I found it a lot cheaper here, ever since whenever either of my cats are in a scrap or require treatment I return here not just for the price but also the staff are always lovely and welcoming and the reception area is nice and big and spaced out so not on top of each other. Will carry on returning :)

Same day appointment…

I called up last minute got same day appointment and my Boris was seen very quickly, didn't have to wait long.
Very happy with service and how efficient staff are happy with service

Booster jab

Went today for my dog to have her booster jab. Staff as always friendly and have a laugh with as my dog always has a poo in the middle of the floor. I always say have you got a bag to clear up. They always say no they are used to it and clean it up. I'm mortified and they just laugh, makes you feel comfortable. They listen to everything to ask and if they don't know the answer they will go and check. Highly recommend

My pet had a visit today for vaccination and check up and a slight health concern. Everything was explained thoroughly and treatment was good as always

Very poor care and service

Was told my dog would not be given further treatment due to the Lanark’s practice failure to advise me a blood test carried out by Niall just before my dog was picked up. This had not been added to the already large bill for treatment. I had previously moved home and they had been (apparently) sending out letters informing me of this, therefor I had no idea about this, I was told my dog was fit and well to come home after 4 days. I was then told I was no longer welcome at the practice by letter at my new address. I informed them of this mix up and was not given an answer as to why was my dog given another blood test if she was fit and well to come home.
I called this morning to ask for an assessment for my 12year old dachshunds who has IVDD, with the view to having her euthanised only to be told they would be willing to see her.
I have had all my dogs and horse registered and treated with them for years and suddenly because of their administration fault my animal would no longer be seen.
Very poor service….

I only left 1 star so I could write…

I only left 1 star so I could write this.
I am looking after my mums dog, as she died last week. I came in to get daisy some flea treatment, but the "head vet" wouldn't even come and speak to me. Told the receptionist, to tell me to go and buy front line. He wouldn't even let me buy the flea treatment under the circumstances, not only covid, but the loss of my mum and daisy's mum. He then wouldn't even take my call. In my opinion, he doesn't deserve to pick up dog mess in a park. Absolutely disgusting. So I advise anyone to NOT use the vet at Morden. Disgusted doesn't even come close to how I was made to feel.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your mum, please accept our condolences.

We apologise that we could not give Daisy any flea treatment yesterday but unfortunately as was explained, we have not see Daisy for over a year and we are legally not allowed to give prescription flea treatment without a physical exam. Whilst we can totally appreciate why you just wanted to get the treatment, it would be much worse if we gave Daisy something that made her ill because she wasn’t checked first.

As discussed with you yesterday in clinic and on the phone we can provide time for a consult with yourself and Daisy to ensure she is in good health and can have the prescription medicine. Or if you are unable to come in you have the option of the non prescription treatments. Please call us if you would like any further information.

Our thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

We wouldn't go anywhere else!

We have been with the vet for a number of years now and wouldn't even think about moving anywhere else.
We attended recently for our dogs booster and the practitioner asked how our dog was in himself. I explained some unrelated concerns and they were dealt with without hesitation and with the absolute most attention. The information and treatment options where discussed thoroughly and our minds where put St ease with us feeling confident moving forward.
Our experiences are always good and I could not recommend the team enough!

Amazing Vets! 🐶

The Vet Hengrove are absolutely lovely. The vets and nurses are really well trained and kept up to date. They've always put my dogs' needs first and explain any treatment or medication to me well.
Both of my dogs have had surgery and attend yearly for check ups. Everytime we are greeted by the lovely receptionists who are really polite and the waiting area is always kept clean.
I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else!

Not happy with the vets when I took my dog for a scale and polish last year it was £210 this year £310 went to see the vet for a dental check just to see the vet it was £35 then he give me an estimated bill for treatment for my dogs teeth £535 not fair on low income families not good service

Years of quality service.

Belle has had over five years of quality treatment at the vet , norris Green.
She has had operations, vaccinations and numerous other treatments over the years.
Can't fault anything.
All the staff are very friendly and professional, they all seem to enjoy their work.
We have recommended them to family and friends over the years , and all have been very happy.

Superb assistance

Thank you so much for looking after Gizmo today after he had 7 teeth out, the staff are warm, friendly, polite and professional, I would highly recommend The Vet Norris Green, they kept me updated after surgery and explained everything clearly to me over Gizmo’s aftercare xx

The vetinary staff are very helpful…

The vetinary staff are very helpful &friendly. They are very kind with Maise my little dog is very nervous when she goes to the vet . When she comes out she seems happy . I trust and feel confident the staff there look after her and have her best interest at heart .it never seems just a job to any of them .

Horrendous place…

We took our Cat Coco as she wouldn’t eat, drink or get up. We were told she had kidney failure we were absolutely heartbroken. They tried giving her fluids for 3 days back and forth to Norris green and huyton. On Saturday 30th Oct 21 I picked her up from huyton and took her to The Vet Norris green before they took her off me I was greeted with before we take coco can u settle your bill, then when we went to collect her at 3 pm we were told she wasn’t producing urine after the fluids so she was at risk of drowning so we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep, as I had her in my arms crying we were asked to settle the bill as they were about to close, so my baby girl was in my arms dying and they shoved a card machine at us we didn’t have our bank card so my partner was made to go home and get it before they put her to sleep, I think this is absolutely disgusting, to make matters worse they misplaced her lock of fur and took days to find and never called me back with an update when they said they would I had to chase them up. We were also told we would get a call when her ashes were back to collect again no call and we had to chase up she had been there since the day before. Coco might be a distant memory to them but she was our world and we were treated with no compassion at all. Horrendous service

Very nasty selfish staff member!

I had been attending the vet in Southampton for a quite a few years until a very nasty staff member joined the team, who some how thought she was in charge, she lies through her teeth, and I was asked to leave. To be honest I am glad, but would go back once the vet understands that she is the issue not me. Good luck with her. And I await your apology.
