Veeno was born in 2013 with two friends who shared a love for Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard in Sicily where Great-Grandfather Francesco planted the first vines in the XIX century. We also carry other wines from Italy's regions. We had a two hour wine tasting…
We had a two hour wine tasting experience at Veeno in Chester and from start to finish had the best time, Beth our server was so knowledge about the wines we were tasting and which wines went with the sharing platter of meats and cheeses that was part of the experience. Beth had a lot of time for us we didn't feel rushed and at the end we were not pressured into buying any wine but we did anyway because it was so nice.
Beth is a credit to the company.

We're sorry for the unfortunate experience you've had and we did speak with you on Friday August 4th to let you know that the shipment was lost by Parcelforce.
We have no control on Royal Mail and on rare occasions, these things happen unfortunately, which is as frustrating for you than it is for us.
We've also told you that we proceeded with a refund of your order.

Amazing food
Amazing food, excellent beverages, and the ambience is splendid. I have to say MICHELLE was so attentive and nothing stopped her from helping and was always smiling. Reading aveeno if you have never been I highly recommend it!!

We won’t be back
The service was very poor – The Waitress was very vague, and when she offered us Parmesan which arrived halfway through our meal and not grated she had no explanation or apology.
The bruschetta arrived after the main meal – and in general, the food was very average.
I think the staff were enjoying themselves while we were not !
We won’t be back.

Website incorrect - false advertising not a good thing - you should amend immediately
you still don't understand - apologies are not enough - you know the product is not available and I note you are still advertising 10 days later - false advertising is a serious offence - pls stop misleading customers - you have been informed and do nothing - a bad reflection on your company ethics

Hello Lewis,
The amendments have been made and the challenge we have is the wine blend can change when coming from Italy to teh bonded warehouse and challenging to keep up with the changes both in-store and online but you're right, we should've been on it quicker.
To clarify, we did say to you (after delivery) that the bottles you got were different than what you ordered but we gave you an upgrade in the wines by sending the Perricone blend which is of better quality.
We apologise again for the inconvenience and hope you will enjoy your wines.

It might be more a delivery issue but the the wine tasting experience box arrived at the address damaged with wine leaking out of it.

We're really sorry to hear this... It's true, we are dependent on Parcelforce delivering our packages and it rarely happens but we put adequate protection in our boxes so the wine bottles don't break but we can't control the delivery company.

Veeno Reading 5 star food excellent we had the platter for 2. Made a booking and it was my own fault as I forgot to ask not to be seated on those stool chairs because of my back. Got there and our table had stools I explained to the guy about my back and even though they were so busy he still took the time to find us a table with normal chairs so I would be comfortable. Have been here about 4 times now and staff go above and beyond. Wonderful place great atmosphere great food

We are really sorry about this but as your order came on a Thursday at 17:30 we couldn't take the risk to send it the next day as Parcelforce/Royal Mail don't deliver on weekends and the products would've been stored in their warehouse over a whole weekend. And with the delivery issues that they have today, it could've stayed there even longer...
Hence why we delayed the shipment.

Wonderful place
Wine and food were delicious. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The Chester location is ideal for people watching. My wife and I had a great time there. In fact after we left we walked around Chester for a while, shopped and then went back to Veeno for another bottle of wine. Thanks for a great time.

Superb customer service I received post sale...
I bought some wine tasting vouchers for two friends from Veeno as Christmas presents recently. I have to say I was really impressed with the superb customer service I received post sale! I had a complication in that useless Royal Mail failed to deliver my Christmas cards with the vouchers in and I had to contact the Veeno customer support to get them cancelled and new versions issued. The team were so friendly and incredibly helpful, really impressed with them! Thank you.
Looking forward to hearing from my friends how much they enjoy the experience :)
