Hi there,
I am Kristof, an average guy from Belgium.
I am following TRI since 2017 after I graduated from University, just before the bull run of BTC. I got there with advise from a friend who already did the school program.
So I joined the community and I don't regret it. They were helping you when you have questions and gave tips and trics. They don't overwhelm you with 'Look at my Lambo and stuff'. No, they do not fixate on the money but on 'the process' of making money in the long run. Nice things will follow automatically.
I'm not going to beat around the bush. The 3 levels are not a walk in the park. They require quite some time (5-8h/week) but I would definitely re-do it again.
You can also re-do a level if it is going to fast. No shame about that. Every person has his own pace and obstacles in life which you don't choose.
I did level 1 two times because I was mentally not ready for it.
Grab some self-love and work on a (financial) future you would like to have.
Positive mental attitude for the win !
Good luck with your new journey.
I have followed the Level 1 program and started the Level 2. The value provided is incredible : the program gives all the tools to become a pro(fitable) trader. In addition, you have access to all the ecosystem for free all your life along if you take the full 3 levels program. I still continue to watch the Brian's brief when I have time : it consolidates what I learned during the program and gives some day-to-day examples on what has been taught. Just follow the process and let yourself get rich !
By far the best trading course I have ever found. In addition, the community is really helpful, always aimed at helping each other and at the same time they keeping each other honest. The perfect place to start your journey as a trader and I can't imagine going without it.
For me, TRI is about integrity. It's an excellent practical course in trading and a supportive community, focused on positive attitudes and mutual encouragement. It's given me confidence that I can actually succeed as a trader and a group of awesome people to talk with. It's exactly what I was looking for.
Having graduated from the May 2022 Level 3 program, I reflect on my journey with absolute certainty that the TRI team consists of exceptional individuals genuinely invested in your success. The quality of instruction is unparalleled, fostering a profound comprehension of trading. This newfound market insight has undoubtedly contributed to more informed and judicious trading choices. The camaraderie among traders within the community is not only motivational but also instrumental in cultivating a more astute approach to trading. Notably, my brother recently completed the Level 1 program, and a dear friend is poised to follow suit. Embrace the opportunity – take the plunge!
Since 2017 for about a year and a half I was religiously following Brian's weekly shows and in May 2019 I decided to enroll in TRI's school program. I completed all 3 levels and since then I've been proudly part of the TRI community. I strongly recommend TRI to anyone who wants to learn how to properly manage "the small business of trading" as Brian use to say, as trading is not only about placing orders, but it's a whole process which Brian and the TRI instructors teach it in such a way that you'll really love trading after completing the TRI program.
I'm now funded thanks to the level 1 so yeah they're awesome. I'll be looking to get through level 2 this year.
I was looking for a way to hedge against inflation and after a lot of work I found Alex B who recommended "The TRI".
TRI managed to flip the bottle I was trapped in, right from Level 1, unexpectedly.
I can only recommend TRI School.
TRI school is a life changing event for me. I can not describe it more then that.
This course is perhaps one of the hardest things I have ever done. I have zero background in trading/stocks/share/crypto and its all very new to me. It takes determination, time and practice to become proficient.
I have completed the Level 1 and Level 2 courses. I am about to commence Level 3. It will not be easy, I will have to work hard to just keep up. But I know, from the experiences of Levels 1 and 2 that I have first class tutors and support from so many members who always do their best to answer any arising questions. I know I am in the right place to be able to learn this stuff.
I guess my message is that unless YOU are prepared to put the hard work in on your own between classes then this course is not for you. If YOU DO put the hard work in, then with TRI and the support of people within who actually do care that you learn this stuff, then this is life changing and worth every penny.
The course provides excellent value for money.
I've been with TRI since April 2018 when I took the Level 1 program. I stayed on as a member after I finished Level 1 as I had a young family and full time job. I really enjoyed being a member for 3.5 years. It gave me time to trust the process that is TRI. Invaluable instruction, cooperation and community...that's what TRI is. Excited to start Level 2 next week. PMA for the win.
After graduating from Level 1 we were offered to write a feedback. And I decided to read negative reviews before leaving mine. I was quite shocked by negative ones. And I had such an impression that people who wrote negative feedbacks they seem to be disappointed by this course. And I think that they didn't get the main point of this education program. I guess they thought they would become reach within a year after graduating because they paid a few grands for the course. Greedy ones.
I also hesitated a lot before the start because the price of each level of the course equals my month sellery at a regular job. For some people it's not that high but for others it is. But inspite of hesitations I purchased the program.
I have tried the trading a year before the course by following some YouTube guys, I think you have seen some of them before, and in the beginning everything was ok but when the market starts ranging then you got troubles and you start loosing your hard earned money. The point is "if you want to go far you need to go slow and steady and patiently" and if you want many gains in a short term than TRI is not for you. In last case you should look for guys who trade with general capital of their subs. There are some somewhere. 😆
TRI shares some setups, I personally think that it's not enough but it's my opinion (4-5 would be great). At TRI you learn the PROCESS. You note a journal (which I began closer to the end of the Level 1 and now I understand the importance of the journal), you paper trade the setups and ideas... It takes time.
TRI is like a driving school but still when you graduate you can be a bad driver (in case of driving school). At driving school you teach theory and you practice driving but it takes time after school to practice driving before you start driving by yourself, alone in the car and still some time needed until you start feeling confident and comfortable. The same is here. You have to work hard during classes, after classes, between classes, you need to start thinking and developing your skill after you get the initial "punch" from TRI. It would be great if TRI instuctors could share the ideas how they began to invent their own setups - what indicators, conditions, markets they used and why. Some recorded video on the last week of education like it was with setups description. That's why i give 4 of 5.
It's not like you earn hundred grands after you finish the TRI course (three levels). I repeat if you are looking for last scenario then TRI IS NOT FOR YOU.
1+1=3. I've been with TRI since early 2021. Signed up to levels 1,2 and 3 of the school programme and just starting level 3 this term (Q1 2022). I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The school programme is excellent and the support you get from the tutors and teaching assistants is outstanding.
The school programme doesn't cover every aspect of technical analysis (that would likely expand it to a 10 year programme ;-)) but it sure does give you a solid base to work from. I'm sure the programme will develop over time to include ever more useful tools for the trader (i.e. Market Profile, day trading strategies, etc.).
Costs of subscription to the site and school programme is very good value, especially when compared to other offerings out there.
One of the greatest benefits is being part of a great community of traders and like minded people, all with various levels of experience and expertise. This adds a whole new dimension to the experience and has helped in my own development ten-fold.
I highly recommend TRI. 1+1=3.
I was not able to make money during 3 years until I start the TRI courses. I recommend it to anyone who what to learn how to invest properly and make money.
Since I have taken the course (1 year ago) my wallet has made +50% :)
I did the Level 1 one program and found the course excellent. I recommend this course. Brian is a fantastic mentor and coach and the community has been life changing for me.
I am on my 3rd Level of the program, Brian is an excellent teacher, guide, coach. The TA's are also excellent and provide another way to understand the course material. Brian is constantly reinforcing the teachings in his Daily Brief's which is excellent in helping to understand concepts and getting them to stick. This has to be by far the best educational program on the markets out there. You can come in with no knowledge and leave an expert. Most importantly you are being taught how to be self sufficient in running your own business....excellent!
I am genuinely astonished with the levels of cultlike praise that TRI receives both in the room, and indeed on this review page, but my guess is that most of Brian's admirers rode the crypto pumps with him, and very few have ventured out into the Forex or Futures markets, because other than one very specific type of strategy, that requires a mountain of patience and extremely favourable market conditions, Brian, the head honcho at TRI who is responsible for TRI's teachings, can't actually trade that well.
Instead of teaching their students about key anchor pivots, TRI teaches them about "Ms and Ws"
Instead of teaching their students about identifying key supply and demand zones, TRI teaches them Fib ratios and/or 'Reload Zones' (and even worse and even more esoteric/idiosyncratic b.s. than that).
Instead of teaching their students to identify trends and ride trends, TRI teaches them that trending markets are overbought and surely due to correct soon, especially when there are divergences afoot!
Brian is very keen at pointing out reversal divergences (especially in trending markets), but he doesn't teach his students about the hidden divergences which are strong trend following signals, and which are necessarily accompanied by all these 'reversal divergences'. On that note, the one aggressive trend following strategy that seems to be on the menu at TRI (the Bot), is clunky as hell, and trading it, in the form that TRI teaches it, will get you REK'D in competitive markets.
TRI teaches order flow. But only the very basics off it. Nothing that anyone could take to to the futures markets and actually deploy profitably.
As far as I can tell, he is genuinely expert in just one form of trading. Basically, a penny stock value trading methodology (the Little Old Lady strategy), which has made him rich, but has relied on him getting in near the beginning of the biggest asset class bubble, in human history (crypto).
If you are looking to intraday or swing trade Forex or Futures, then keep on walking. This guys methods and means of framing the market will get you REK'D. If you want to put some hard earned into trading any one of the increasing hundreds of cryptos coming onto the scene on an almost daily basis, then hold your nose and dive right in.....and keep your fingers crossed the crypto sector has at least one more pump and dump rotation left in it.
The Perfect Place where to be if your interest is to become a professional trader
Ok for FOMO novices who are a car crash waiting to happen in the markets, or for those who wish to copy 'Brians' (the main protagonist at TRI) method of trading crypto. Essentially buying the Bust and selling the BOOMs in the Boom-Bust-Boom crypto market cycles and why wouldn't anyone want to partake in this hugely profitable activity (while it lasts)? There is certainly a lot of postivity about the place, which I imagine is a result of a good handful of TRI students making out like bandits in the crypto space, 'knocking out doubles' trading the 'Little Old Lady' strategy.
Problem for these kids will start, if they think they can take the instruction offered by TRI and apply it to more competitive markets on shorter time frames (or any timeframe for that matter. No talk of equilibrium theory here, or other key concepts that unlock the intermediary swings and motion of the market and TRI's answer to strong trending markets, where it is actually easiest for traders to bag some loot, tends to be 'too overbought', 'we can't be buyers up here'. It's all just the usual plethora of patterns and shapes, indicator divergences, "Ms and Ws", all the standard stuff you can learn on babypips for free, and that will put a trader (in competitive market environments) on his ass more times than not, unless applied judiciously using methods and means, that I saw no evidence of anyone at TRI being remotely cognisant off. I even saw a TRI student being advised to NOT use more than one time period to frame their trades!!! (this is a bit like telling a budding young soccer player to stop thinking about what is going on around him and just focus on the ball). Worst advice, ever! How much are they paying for them training courses!?
With all that said however, overall though it seems ok enough and offers up a rudimentary structural understanding of the markets, through an active and friendly environment. Anyone adhering to the teaching's of TRI, might do well on a longer term buy and hold basis, providing they are stringent with their picks. One just shouldn't expect to come out of this place being capable of ripping $10K per month out of a CME futures account. I guess the clue is in the name. The Rational INVESTOR. Not the rational TRADER. Depends on what someone is looking for I guess.
Amazing course and community. been through first 2 levels and currently enrolled in level 3. This community and course will no joke change your life. Not only financially but emotionally too. Brian and team at TRI does everything possible to make you feel like your never on your own when learning. Could not recommend this course enough.
