Brian and the team are best in the business and have built a truly amazing community. I joined about a year and half ago and have had nothing but fantastic experiences and interactions in The Rational Investor community. 10/10

I was referred to Brian and the TRI community by a very good friend of mine who had completed all 3 levels of TRI and I have to say I have learnt a lot since starting the level 1, heading onto level 2.

What I really enjoyed is that you learn about the bigger picture, not just lines, doodles and set ups. It gave me a greater understanding of market cycles, look at FA with TA and most importantly journaling.

Grimm was my instructor throughout and I found him extremely good. He explained all of the content in its simplest forms, showed examples on his charts and spent time helping the community.

I am doing level 2 shortly and then on to level 3.

I want to share my journey into the world of cryptocurrency and futures trading. At 19, I decided to try my hand at trading on the old-timey exchanges, but unfortunately, I lost all my savings. It was a tough lesson that made me rethink my approaches.

Before joining TRI, I followed two French coaches who had been students at the institution. This introduced me to and made me appreciate the "Little Old Lady" trading strategy. Learning that their mentor was Brian Beamish convinced me to learn directly from the source. Using the profits earned from this strategy, I enrolled in The Rational Investor, completing Levels 1-3.

I found TRI to be an excellent school, especially for beginners in trading or investing. The curriculum focuses on three key concepts: Location, Momentum, and Structure. These foundations are crucial for understanding market dynamics and making informed decisions.

Even for those with advanced trading experience, TRI, under Brian Beamish's methodology and with the guidance of its coaches, offers valuable lessons. It's a place where you're likely to learn something new and useful for your trading journey.

Brian is a very passionate man, and he know his stuff, and his Level 1 and Level 2 instructors, are very good traders and teachers'.I can only recommend this for everyone who want to lean trading, Becoz There is a community there will help you, and a big library with everything from momentum setups, to little old lady strategy, and books there will be good to read for you to be a good trader... Brian is the real deal..

TRI will teach you more than trading. It will show you how to confront all the demons you have within yourself (if you follow the process) and turn things around in your life for the better.

If you allow yourself to be disciplined and "trust the process", you will find yourself being more in control of your finances and your life.

In 1 year I have learned so much with TRI and Brian! I feel like I have skills for the rest of my life that will enable me to make money in the markets. The education we receive is very thorough, we study advanced topics such as Gann, Volume Profile, Options, Point and Figure trading, as well as algorithmic trading and how to create our own indicators in TradingView. I highly recommend TRI, I've made back the subscription fee in just a few months

I had big hopes and big plans with TRI. I was prepared to listen diligently, do assignments regularly and put in all my effort. At the end I didn't learn how to trade, it's been 2 years since I finished TRI and I don't trade at all. I just know I shouldn't do it because I'm going to lose money. That's basically what I learnt.
There's 3 reason that I see:
1) TRI is all about theory and almost no practice - you need someone to look at your assignments (paper-trades) and give you feedback constantly. We were being told a thousand times to paper-trade (which I diligently did) but I failed most of the time and had no clue as to why. The Q&A sessions and over-saturated with additional very complicated information and you get to ask about 1 particular paper-trade which is negligible.
2) Guys that teach at TRI are all fantastic people and I have great respect for what they're doing but they have absolutely no sense about the pedagogy (with the exception of Grim). In other words, teaching is a profession that you study, you can be a great trader and a terrible teacher. Course meterials seem to be organized in chapters but it's all very confusing, terrible slides (5 slides for a 90 minute lecture is utterly catastrophic!), over-saturated with tiny almost invisible text, only 1 example of a concept, too much ranting and personal experience, 80% of lecture time is a waste of time. I'm perhaps too critical because I'm a professor at University level myself but if I tought my students like that nobody would pass an exam.
3) I felt as though TRI was for experienced traders from the very beginning, or at least for people who have a background in economics or finances. I come from a completely different field and I simply can't be in the same class with those people. During Q%A I didn't even understand most of other people's questions. At level 1 I had to learn the vocabulary, I had no idea what Brian was talking about, I made a list of over 350 terms from the field of economics and finances that I had never heard in my life. Brian just assumed that everyone knew the vocabulary. During the very first lecture he kept mentioning something called the 'dot com boom'. I had no idea what that was, so mush so that I wasn't able to spell it in any sensible way to find it's meaning on google.
TRI should advertise itself as a course for people who've already traded not for total dummies like myself.
It should perhaps create a separate course for beginners and focus on bringing people from point zero the their very first trade with the simplest tools possible. Forget futures and options and shamanic concepts and planet constelations. Teach me one easy setup, give me 100 assignments and check them all and give me feedback. That's how you learn.

And last but not least, I am of course myself the biggest reason for my failure because I quit the whole thing after my disappointement - after finishig TRI I did one hundred paper-trades and my success rate was 46%, so basically guessing range. I have no idea how to trade. So, sadly my money's still lying on my bank account after I spend 3,5 K for TRI 3 levels.

I was fortunate when I found TRI three years ago. It changed how I look at the markets. I took all three classes and loved the passion of the tutors and the engagement of students.

The best part is the community that has built up around TRI

TRI's school program has been life changing for me. I have completed all levels of the TRI school program. This is NOT a get rich quick program. If you are looking for someone to tell you that you can become a crypto millionaire this month then look elsewhere. TRI's school program taught me how to behave in the market. How to take appropriate risk, how to identify assets that are showing internal signs possible price pivots, and how to buy at appropriate price levels. It also taught me how to behave when trades go against me. Getting good at all of this takes work and is not easy. It takes time and dedication. With that said TRI has set that foundation for me. I would have blown my accounts up many times over without the foundational knowledge that I learned from TRI's school program. I started TRI's school program in late 2017 and did all 3 levels consecutively. Fast forward to today 6-7 years later and I can honestly state the following: I make a portion of my regular income from trading stocks and options and I am building piles of wealth in longer term investment plans/accounts. For example I more than 2x'd my crypto account in the most recent bull run (since Nov 2023)...And I that is in real profits. In closing, TRI is the only place I have found - in the entire world - that teaches its students how really do this right. Its up to the student to take that education and apply it, put the time and effort in. 6-7 years later, I am reaping those rewards. Thank you TRI...as I stated, this is life changing.

I have been in TRi for two years now and have passed Courses for Levels I and II that are offered. I'm registered for Level III this summer and excited to see what else I learn. Like all things, there is no easy path. You have to put in the work, but Brian and TRi layout multiple ways for you to find your trading plan, acknowledge your demons, and build a disciplined approach to trade consistently. The community is very smart, and supportive. This is by far the best paid group I have been a part of - all trade perspectives are valued.

I've taken all three levels of the TRI course and it's great value for money. It's given me insight into trading and investing that I never thought was available. I've managed to make my money back back on the course fee many times over and it's given me the skills to be a profitable investor for the rest of my life.

I've recommended it to several friends and family and I will continue to do so for anyone who is actually interested to learn the craft.

What a great community of traders!!! This is the place to be if you are new to the crypto or investing space. Learn how time the market with timing cycle and take profits. Brian has decades of real life trading experience since he used to be a commodities trader back in the 1990s.

The rational investor offers a great program. Brian and his team help teach investors/traders “how to fish”. The program teaches you how to be a trader not a follow the leader type program. With these great fundamental teachings, a very fair price, and awesome community TRI cannot be beat.
