Terrible experience with scammers
Terrible experience. No more than 3 minutes of treatment on each visit. So far I have paid over$300 because of their subscription. It is very difficult to cancel their subscription. I will need to notify my credit card company and I am hoping to stop these unearned charges. Don’t go to this place.
Aggressive treatment and fraud when refund needed

I do not recommend the service
I do not recommend the service. They make it extraordinarily difficult to cancel because all they care about is getting their $$$. They do not care about the patient. They do not care about reasonableness they do not care about anything but money! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!
We showed up for a new patient…
We showed up for a new patient appointment that was set up a weak in advanced and when we get there they said that they don’t have time for a new customer, will never recommend them to no one
They suck
Womp womp
Womp womp. I love chiros but this chain is just not it. The quick adjustments are not what helps people get better. Really hope they integrate chiropractic biophysics more to truly help create a change because like I said the quick in n out adjustment is a bandaid - not a true fix to whats at play.
Anyone that complains on here just…
Anyone that complains on here just isn't taking accountability. Its a very simple model! You pay a monthly fee for 4 visits a month until you cancel it. Its a WELLNESS plan bc you come in for weekly WELLNESS adjustments. Its a great value and if you ask questions or read what you signed you will get it. Its just like a gym membership people. I dont always use all 4 visits a month but thats ok bc even if I use 2 its cheaper than my previous chiro.
Horrible customer services and…
Horrible customer services and explanation about the plans. They lie to get your membership. Then pull money every month without authorization. To this day they have not refunded my money.
It's all a money grab! Horrible!!
Horrible. After using the service for 6 months, I did not experience the results I had hoped for. I asked to cancel the service and was convinced by the desk person to just pause the service for 3 months. They would let me know when the contract would resume and I could decide then if I wanted to cancel. They never contacted me, I forgot about the contract and they quietly began charging me monthly again for a service that I never used. When I finally realized what was happening, contacted them to try to cancel it immediately. I got another run around before finally getting a cancellation form. Even after submitting the cancellation they continued to charge me for 2 more months.
Terrible business practice. I fulfilled my contract and they still would not let me cancel without charging another $89
This sounded like a great idea until you are done with their services. I had to end my care to deal with serious health issues including surgery. They refused to cancel my plan without charging for another month of visits that I cannot use.
If you think the gym is hard to quit, it's a breeze compared to this place. DO NOT SIGN UP
I will be contacting the BBB as well.
Things are not always what they seem at “Joint Chiropractic in DeLand”
Things are not always what they seem at “Joint Chiropractic in DeLand”
I am 70 and tired of being ripped off.
I could not relieve the pain I have in my back thru the exercises I have used for years. So, I went to the “Joint Chiropractic in DeLand” which had a special for 2 months, so I decided to try them. When I walked into the establishment I was told “Joint Chiropractic in DeLand” has a 2-month special they told me it was my best option as it would cost more to do it any other way. So, I signed up for the 2 months. My first visit they cracked my back which was fine but, by the time I reach the exit I was in just as much pain as when I first came in. Towards the end of the first month I was getting worse rather than better.
As I wasn’t getting better and they never asked me for my x-ray or the MRI. So, they were cracking my back not knowing if they were even helping me. Here’s what happened, towards the end of the first month I went to the receptionist and told her I would not be back as I felt the corrections were not helping me. I ask her if they were going to keep the money for next month she said yes, as I signed up for two months that was ok.
A couple of things I noticed that the receptionist was different for all my visits as well the chiropractors, however I do believe I did see one chiropractor twice. I have never been to a chiropractic office where the chiropractors changed with every visit. Another thing I noticed was they would not take any insurance or CASH no other payment vehicle allowed.
Some months later I looked at my bank statement and noticed there was a withdrawal for “Joint Chiropractic in DeLand” even though I had stopped going to them months ago. I looked back and “Joint Chiropractic in DeLand” made 3 additional withdrawals, even though I paid for the two months special they continued to withdraw from my account. When I called to find out why, I was told it was because I did not read the contract and needed to fill out a termination of service form. The receptionist did not say anything to me about a form when I told her I was not going to continue. I only signed up for 2 months when the corrections did not work I paid for the 2nd month and move on. Not so fast, I was told by the owner or the owners advocate that “I would just have to eat it”, the 3 payments they withdrew without my permission. Bottom line I fulfilled my part of the contract but because they DO NOT take cash it allows them to keep withdrawing from your account with out your approval. So, watch out “Joint Chiropractic in DeLand” will scam you so watch out.
Now you know why they only take credit cards as payment.
Slow service
I went to the Joint chiropractic on Bell Rd. I checked in, There were 5 people waiting. I went next door to Filibertos. I waited while they grilled a chicken burrito and ate there. When I returned to the joint chiropractic, there were still 5 people waiting. Dr Norman was still with the same patient. I heard alot of clicking of an adjustment. I left. Dr Norman is slow and takes way too long.
$30.00 per visit
$30.00 per visit. 5 minute treatment. That's pretty good money. I've read some of the reviews and I have suggested this solution before. Don't continue to deal with them directly for continuing to bill you. The first time you see a payment after you cancelled (and always try to do it via text or email so it's in writing) contact your credit card company and tell them not to accept any payment due, show them the date you cancelled (again good to have it in writing) and they should be able to reverse the charges from the time and credit your account.
Read the paperwork before you sign or else you'll be paying for 3 months
I'm very unhappy with the joint chiropractic. I've never been to a chiropractor before them and I only wanted to try it one time but they pressured me into buying a package deal when I didn't want to. They used my health against me to make me feel bad and purchase their stupid package and they never mentioned that it was a three-month package so now I'm stuck with it for 3 months and I've only gone twice. And they won't let me cancel so f my life. I'm not happy with it the way they do business and I'm sure not happy with the results of their backtracking ethics
These people are CROOKS
These people are CROOKS. I called back in March of 2025 to cancel after getting a charge from them. I let them know I moved out of state and no longer wanted to continue services. They tried to get me to keep my membership as there are some locations in my new state, I said I wasn’t interested. The receptionist said my account would be cancelled. It’s now February of 2026 and I just saw on my account they’ve been charging me all along. When I called today, they basically said “too bad” and that she could do nothing for me because I never signed to cancel. THEY NEVER TOLD ME I NEEDED TO SIGN TO CANCEL. I asked for a manager but of course was informed she was “off today”. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY.
East Peoria, IL consummate care
I sought treatment at the East Peoria, IL clinic. I was treated very well. The chiropractor was very proficient in her craft. The cost is more than reasonable. I will thrive in their care. A consummate care clinic.
Discrimination service pull recurring…
Discrimination service pull recurring card charged stalk and harassment at job and never in office with excuse and multiple times to pay took payments not asking to pay in office worst service after fraud investigation change number still change again less month meet in office comfort new card bigger problem they cause change card protected my account from a women doesn’t understand English traumatize a women at night at her job.
DON'T DO IT!
They fail to explain that you will be locked into paying recurring charges for months after your first month. They sent paperwork that they say I signed but I honestly don't remember doing so and if I did it was 100% not explained at the time of my first visit. In researching after the fact I see that this is their regular, predatory practice.
Proceed with EXTREME caution
This practice is the definition of unprofessionalism and has genuinely made me question their medical ethics.
I was over-adjusted on multiple occasions, which ultimately resulted in a herniated disc. That alone should alarm any prospective patient. On top of that, the constant staff turnover is so extreme that there is zero continuity of care — a serious red flag in any medical environment and a strong indicator of deeper management issues (which, after being exposed to the manager’s attitude, is not surprising).
The administrative negligence is just as bad as the clinical care. I requested cancellation of my subscription/membership in June 2025 due to an overseas move. When I briefly returned to Denver in October 2025 after a 10-hour long-haul flight, I came in once out of desperation, fully expecting to pay out of pocket — only to discover my subscription/membership had never been cancelled. I was reassured again that it would be handled and that I would be refunded from my original June request.
Months later, well into the new year, my card was still being charged.
After repeated attempts to resolve this calmly and amicably, I was told the cancellation “didn’t go through” because I hadn’t signed a form — a form that was never once mentioned during either cancellation attempt. That is not a patient error. That is an operational failure.
It gets worse. When the manager (Lauren) finally called, I asked her to call me back a few minutes later. Instead, she sent a text message accusing me of being rude, issued only a partial refund, declared the matter closed, and has since refused to speak with me. I all understand that staff have been instructed to hang up on me if I called to address the issue.
Being injured under their care is one thing. Being dismissed, blamed, and stonewalled while they continue charging me is another.
Moral of the story: If a medical practice cannot handle basic patient safety, communication, and billing integrity — believe them. They are showing you exactly how little accountability exists behind the scenes. This is not a one-off mistake; it is how they operate and they will certainly prioritise profits over patients.
Proceed with extreme caution.
Being mislead by member ship
Being mislead by member ship. BEWARE! A place that puts money before their patient. I'm out of their. Never will use them again. BEWARE!!!!!! Membership is the biggest complaint!
Poorly explained service
The workers didn’t fully explain that there would be a recurring monthly charge. When called to question it they replied with “we don’t explain it but it’s on the tablet”. Both my husband and I now just go to an orthopedic doctor instead of risking our health with a chirpiractor. If you feel this is a better route I would stay away from franchise chiropractors. Visit a private practice and pay cash, if possible. Chiropractors can be great but not these guys.
