Cancelled after years of 2 loyal customers
Me and my mum have been having Green thumb for years 3 times a year prices starting at 25.50 then rising to 30.50 . This year they are planning 5 visits callibg their treatment for eg Summer ready and summer long . The last invoice for one visit was 72 .50 for me and 62.50 for my mum . They had no permission to make extra visits ir increas e prices . We are not paying those amounts . Communication is ridiculous when complaining on your log in Account . I have sent them notification that we both no longer require their services . We will pay the 30.50 for the last invoice but not 72.50 and my mum who is a pensioner 62.50 for a very small lawn . They dont deserve to keep any loyal customers .
GreenThumb - Great products, but the customer has a part to play!
Green Thumb have excellent products and services which provide the basis for their customers to enjoy and be proud of their lawns. Having said this, it’s important to say that the customer must play their part by appropriate watering and correct height mower cutting based on prevailing weather conditions.
My lawns are looking pretty good at the moment and I think this is down to me having just such a two way relationship with them.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that their new head office based administration operation isn’t comparable as yet to the previous localised system.

Terrible. Late treatments, overdue refund amd seemingly nothing the customer service people can do. This all changed when the franchise was sold back to headoffice. Really poor. Am cancelling having been with them for 10 years.
Dreadful company, unprofessional
If I could give 0 stars I would… don’t use, they don’t turn up for appointments. made 2 appointment over 2 months Ryan Scott didn’t turn up for either of them. No phone call no email no nothing. Useless company.
Breaching of my privacy
The green thumb company breached my privacy , and discussed my contact details with someone from outside the company and they have been contacted by someone else to breach my privacy and to hack my phone and broadband connection.
I raised a complaint regarding this issue with many members of their team by contacting them with many phone calls and emails, but I did not have any response to my complaint.
This issue very serious issue, therefore I advised you not to join this company at all because they are not honest and showed no responsibility for this very serious concerns about my privacy.

What is going on with Green Thumb
What is going on with Green Thumb. Most certainly gone downhill since they have centralised the business, all calls go through to a call centre, even e-mails addressed to the local Green Thumb Branch. Call centre agents and schedulers seem to ignore the customers requests and just give out e-mail appointments that fits better with them. Ignore requests I made to speak to the local branch supervisor, then send him to see me to assess my complaint and that was after my cancellation of a previous appointment to do the Summer Treatment; to which the schedulers had sent in a chap to complete the treatment. With the aid of this young man I managed to get a message to the Branch Supervisor Daniel. I am so very close to actioning option 4 when contacting Green Thumb. Option 4 is to cancel your contract with Green Thumb. When my appointment with Daniel was arranged it was discussed that his new Area Manager would be invited to meet with me as I was so very dissatisfied with the Lawn Restoration Programme. Daniel was told that he [Area Manager] would telephone me. If the Area Manager for Kent reads this, "sir I am still waiting". Now there's a surprise. Gone is the personal touch and interaction. All the "lads" working from the branch servicing Gravesend that I have met are without exception looking for alternative employment. I felt so very sorry for Daniel Gregory who had to listen to my angst as his superior could not be bothered to telephone me to discuss my complaint. Surely managers should lead by example, not take the "Cowards" way out and remain faceless to their clients. Thank you Daniel Gregory for trying to appease the situation on behalf of Green Thumb.

Avoid the Peterborough branch at all…
Avoid the Peterborough branch at all costs! I paid £142 to have my lawn aerated and scarified (on their recommendation) a few months ago and I knew it was going to look awful just afterwards, but all these weeks later and I virtually have no lawn left and it is completely ruined. They wouldn't respond to my communication for help so I cancelled my account with them and am now left with the cost of hundreds of pounds to have a new lawn laid.

Have been with greenthumb for 15+ years. Went to local office to pay the bill was told can only do online banking which I don't do or or direct debit or pay over the phone. Will be arranging to cancel the service with this company and going elsewhere

Also being informed I may have Chafer Bugs etc..which I don't have at present.
However my current operative Johnny Webb gently tells me what to look out for and always has a helpful and courteous manner about him... a good asset for the Company.

I’ve been a customer of Greenthumb for at least sixteen years at two different properties. The franchise operation was a brilliant set up with knowledgeable, helpful lawn experts who you could trust. Easy to contact and well organised. The move to a corporate operation and everything has fallen apart.
My appointments keep being rescheduled with no explanation. My lawn should have been treated months ago, not in a couple of months time, if I’m lucky. Furthermore the communication with the company is very difficult. They take ages to answer the phone. Consequently, I’ve closed my account and will treat my lawn myself.

My windows were cleaned by Dan Gregory last Friday. They had not been cleaned for many years as we could not get a window cleaner after covid.
He did a brilliant job and I am really pleased.
A company that is no longer willing to talk so they can steal my money
Since takeover by a Swedish company Greenthumb UK have stopped all communications with UK customers. I have made several phone calls and it ends up in a loop of a number of options and you end up only wasting your time. I sent them several emails and reminders and I get standard automated responses. I am chasing them to recover my overpayments which I paid under their direct debit scheme.
I am now frustrated customer and do not know what I can do to recover my money. Can anyone help please?

I have been using Greenthumb for 2 years. As my lawn has not improved I am now trying to cancel my contract. Greenthumb are not responding to any emails and their phone line is always very busy and I cannot get through. I have therefore not been able to cancel the service. It seems that Greenthumb are deliberately making the cancellation process as difficult as possible.

Dark haired man in his twenties or early thirties with glasses.
Driving fast and dangerously in a narrow road and gave me a load of verbal abuse for trying to get out of my car when I was perfectly legitimately parked. I rarely write reports like this but this man needs lessons in safe and courteous driving.
