These guys saved our holiday....We honestly can't recommend The Caravan Company enough! After having a major wheel issue as the result of a mobile tyre fit company failure to carry out the work correctly causing potential damage and ending our holiday before it started, we were advised to take our Caravan to Matt and his team to check it over. We arrived without any real prior warning yet Matt, Neil (Workshop Manager) and Darryl (Engineer) immediately dropped what they were doing, checked out the van, replaced what needed to be done to get us mobile and safe and on our journey. Nothing was too much trouble and I honestly cannot think of any company that went as above and beyond as these guys. If you want a Caravan Company you can trust, this is absolutely the place to go.

What a great experience with this caravan company!! We sold our caravan to them, before buying it they came and viewed it, told us an extremely fair price, which we accepted. On the day they came to collect, money transferred into the bank, no hassle before they took it away. Can’t complain it was a brilliant experience and such a lovely owner of the company. We will definitely be visiting them again when we’re ready to purchase our new caravan. Thank you to the caravan company for such a relaxed sale and it was a pleasure meeting you!

Due to ill health we made a reluctant decision to sell our caravan. We made enquiries at the Caravan Company in Finedon and from the start had an excellent experience. All the staff were very efficient and polite. Andrew contacted us promptly and offered us a really good price for our van and even offered to pick the van up from storage. Very pleased with the whole experience.

My wife and I bought our 1st ever caravan in August 2020 from the Caravan Company in Finedon. 1st class customer service and product. Although the caravan was 4 years old, it was presented in an immaculate condition. Roll on 9 months and 3 staycations we noticed damp and mould above the microwave housing. Contact the Neil (Workshop Manager) who swiftly arranged for the caravan to be inspected. Within a week of being in the workshop I received a call to say our caravan could be collected. On collecting today, as well as fixing the damp issue, Neil and Harold had also noted a few other issues, so they replaced the water inlet hose, replaced motor mover covers, replaced washer in the shower head unit, replaced battery clips and replaced the leisure battery. To say I am pleased is an understatement. To Andy (owner), Neil and Harold (workshop) many thanks for the customer service and resolving not 1 but all of the other little issues. I will definitely come back and buy again.

We bought a 2017 Sterling Continental 565 from The Caravan Co. at Finedon Northamptonshire.Throughout the transaction of purchasing the caravan and part exchanging our caravan Matt and all of the staff have been absolutely spot on,all through this lockdown nothing has been too much trouble.If and when the time comes to replace our caravan this will be my first port of call, and we live in Stoke on Trent so it’s not exactly just down the road. We don’t believe that we could have received better service anywhere else,so once again thank you Matt and the Caravan Co.

We had an excellent experience buying our caravan from The Caravan Company back in 2014. A lovely 2011 Adria Adora. Fast forward 7 years to today and with our children now too big (and argumentative) to fit in the van, we have decided to sell. We explored selling the van privately - but also asked for a cash sale price from The Caravan Company. We were offered a very fair price and the deal was done in a matter of days (collected from our storage facility). Andrew (the owner of the company) drove the whole deal through and with absolutely no pressure. Very friendly and flexible. Sure, I could have sold it for a bit more privately - but the price received was very fair. No ifs, buts, or last minute haggling on pickup. Professional and true to word. Recommended (for both ends of the purchase/sale journey).

We are caravan ‘virgins’ and I cannot praise enough, Matt from the Wellingborough Caravan Company, who helped us with our purchase. We had been looking online during lockdown, but waited until the branch opened to take a day off work and travel the 70 odd miles to have a proper look around and see what we felt would suit us. We ended up going to our upper budget of £14,000, but there was plenty of choice to suit all budgets. We chose a Swift Freestyle with fixed bed and end bathroom and Matt was incredibly patient with all our questions. When we went to collect, we discovered our tow bar needed a key (which happened to be on the other car key bunch) so 140 mile round trip and although Matt shouldn’t have been working that afternoon, he came back to ensure we were all hitched up correctly. Now a week later, we are sat in our caravan, still learning as we go, but with a good introduction to start us. Thank you.

Having decided to upgrade our caravan we were recommended to call the Caravan Company for a valuation on our current van. From initially speaking to Andrew Scott to Richard collecting the caravan from our drive, the whole process was handled in a professional manner. A competitive price quoted, no haggling, prompt payment & collection - what more can you ask? I would recommend anyone to call this company for a cash valuation on their current van or to view their range of vans in stock - it could save you money!

I've just sold my van to Andrew from the Caravan Company. We agreed a price and Andrew arranged collection within a few days. When my van was collected it was the most simply and easy process; there was no attempt to change the price or haggle - it was purchased by The Caravan Company as agreed. I have Just sold my caravan to the Caravan Company. I can say without hesitation they are an honest, fair and reliable company who from my first contact with Andrew and throughout the process were excellent. Andrew knew I had taken my van out of storage and promptly arranged collection within 24hrs of agreeing the sale. The collection driver was very friendly, I’m sorry I can’t remember his name.
I would highly recommend them for a fair deal in selling your caravan and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

We brought a caravan prior to lock down and weren’t able to go get it for 8 months. Rhys was so very helpful throughout it all. Matt has been brilliant too. The customer service we received has been excellent. Matt went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us and arranged delivery of the caravan to our home. I cannot fault this company in anyway, they did everything they said they were going to do for us, and are totally trustworthy. I seldom write reviews, but decided to make an exception in this case due to the outstanding service received.
We were going to visit the closer Wimborne site, but Wellingborough had more stock and several caravans that we liked the look of, so we made the 120 mile journey up at the end of October. We put down a refundable deposit on the way up, to hold the van that we preferred (Elddis Crusader Zephyr).
We spent time talking with Andrew (co-owner) and Rob that day and found all the staff friendly and helpful. Subsequently we received first class support from Matt Taylor. As we thought we may not be able to use the caravan during the pandemic/winter we were offered a 6 month warranty (rather than 3 month). Both Andrew and Rob told us that if there were any issue outside of the warranty period to talk to them, as they would try to find a solution.
This is what I call customer service!
We were given helpful advise regarding air con, motor-mover, insurance etc. Excellent communication from Matt Taylor during the second lockdown period (Nov) with regard to van delivery/collection and options to be fitted. We identified a couple of issues subsequent to collection (heating was working fine over first part of a weekend away, but then stopped due to circuit board failure). We spoke with Matt and had the heating and a couple of minor issues addressed by a local caravan expert with his agreement to reimburse us. The invoice for this subsequent work was promptly reimbursed in full without any quibbling by The Caravan Company 😊. In my view, a good measure of a business is how they respond when things go wrong... The Caravan Company were absolutely first class in both this regard, but also with regard to advice and flexibility as mentioned above. In summary, we were extremely impressed by both pre-sales and post-sales support.
We have recommended them to our friends and would do so to anyone looking for first class service and a quality caravan.
Oh, and we are delighted with our stunning new van.

A unique experience. In September I paid deposit by phone,no receipt sent as they"don't email receipts". Advised of a 6 week delivery time to allow for repairs & cleaning. Nine weeks later I paid the bill, delivery arranged.Handover/ delivery day came,van not cleaned,dirt,dead flies in windows,old peppercorns on worktop, not repaired ,not delivered as alloy wheel broken! My complaints were brushed aside,no compensation,no added warranty, told was lucky that the broken wheel was fixed,and eventually told that the repair was a serious damp problem needing a week to rebuild the front of the van, the earliest workshop date was mid December. I could have the van delivered to site and use it until collected for repair, or I could have my money back.
I took the refund.
Seemed that because I bought a van in the back row I didn't matter.
My experience means that I cannot recommend the Caravan Company .
