Following a power outage my alarm system went into fault. But not a problem because the guys at Texecom got it sorted remotely in a matter of 10 mins. First class customer service and tech support👍

Excellent Training

Excellent Training and I had a great experience with the Texecom training program. The session was very interactive and covered real-world scenarios, which made it easy to understand system configuration and troubleshooting. The trainer was knowledgeable and supportive throughout.

VR8 panel

We as a company have Installed the texecom VR8 panel, motion sensors and bell box's for the past 30years.Its always been our go to for us to recommend to our clients due to its reliability. On the installation side of things its a quality product and easy to install. On the odd occasion when we have had an issue, a call to the tech team has always sorted it out.

Luke was a good teacher

Luke was a good teacher, I have gone from knowing virtually nothing about Texecom to having a good bit of knowledge & understanding.

Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money. There is no help from Texecom when things go wrong, they have no interest in customer service. They refer you to your installer who are so wrapped up in other installations they don't bother to answer calls when components of the installations have failed. Alot of money spent that worked fine for a couple of years then started having issues that never got resolved, despite paying the installer an annual maintenance fee. They could do with learning about people and customer service, do not buy there product and do not use Bucks Security to install an alarm.

Texecom manufactures and supplies the alarm equipment, however installation, servicing and ongoing maintenance are carried out by independent installers. As a result, the installation or maintenance of individual systems, would be for installers to assist with, which is why support for issues like this is typically provided by the installer who fitted the system.

Field engineer visit

I recently attended one on my sites with field engineer Steve Gartside due to wireless issues with the system. Steve diagnosed the issue straight away and updated the firmware on the control panel which has now resolved the issues. He was very professional and prompt.

Level 1 Texecom Training

Recently completed the level 1 training course with Bob and found the course content to be very informative and will certainly be useful to me moving forward, I will be booking on to the level 2 course soon.

Bob was also a great trainer, extremely knowledgeable on the Texecom products and the industry as a whole.

I recently completed my level 1 training course with Bob. He was so so polite and helpful and taught me so much. I’ve now applied for my level 2 course so I can learn more. The equipment and technology that Texecom use is of elite level

Professional and efficient support

I recently had a fairly complex issue involving a Texecom Premier Elite system, SmartCom connectivity, cloud ownership after a change in WiFi network.

After several calls with support (all helpful), the case was ultimately resolved by Kris (Senior Customer Support Engineer), whose technical knowledge and professionalism were exceptional.

He took clear ownership of the issue, explained things properly, worked through the cloud takeover and communication faults methodically, and ensured the system was fully restored and stable. What really stood out was his calm, solution-focused approach — no rushing, no shortcuts, just solid technical support done properly.

It’s rare to encounter that level of competence and attitude in technical support today.

Credit also to Mohammed and Noah for earlier assistance getting me on track and outlining the correct pathway.

Very impressed overall.

I attended the Texecom Elite training…

I attended the Texecom Elite training run by Bob Penny and it was an absolutely wonderful day of training.

Bob was extremely professional and very patient throughout the session. He took the time to answer every question, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. He created a relaxed and comfortable learning environment, which made it easy to ask questions and fully engage with the material.

We went through each subject clearly and thoroughly, and Bob provided helpful notes and training materials that I can now refer back to in my own time. This has given me the confidence to revisit the topics and continue building my knowledge independently.

Overall, the training was well structured, informative, and delivered to a very high standard. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their understanding of Texecom Elite systems

New wired alarm fitted

I’ve just had a new wired alarm fitted and I am really happy with the installation and app. They cleared away any mess made during the installation which is great. The app is really clear, simple and easy to use. It’s really handy getting the notifications that the alarm has been set/unset. I would recommend this company to anyone looking.

I recently completed the Texecom Level…

I recently completed the Texecom Level 2 level 3, programming, smart on and Wintex course with Luke and Bob and I can confidently say the training was excellent.

Luke and Bob both delivered the course in a clear, engaging, concise and practical way, making even the more technical difficult aspects of Texecom systems and especially Wintex programming easy to understand. Their knowledge of the systems is very strong, and they explained not just how things work, but why they work the way they do.
The sessions were well paced and timed to allow for maximum attention at all times.Both of them were very patient with questions and took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable before moving on.

I came away feeling far more confident working with Texecom systems and softwares, and I’d highly recommend their training to anyone in the security industry looking to upskill or refresh especially when it’s being delivered by Luke or Bob
