Timewasters
Thought I'd placed an order and paid via Paypal. Something obviously went wrong in the process as no emailed confirmation received and the Paypal site did not show any payment had gone through.
Went back to the testallwater.co.uk website and tried to contact the firm via the online chat requesting that they check their records and tell me if something went wrong. No-one replied within a few minutes so I left a message requesting the reply by email and logged out of the chat as it said the firm would contact me via email.
While I did receive a reply in the same day, the wording was 'thanks we have no records of order being placed.'
This gives a very bad impression. Not even a capital T on 'thanks'. No suggestion as to whether it was safe to assume I could try again. No apology, no 'if you have further problems do not hesitate to contact us by ---', but I did get a 'thanks', even though I hadn't given then a reason to thank me.
My opinion is that they strike me as polite but incompetent and I placed my (small) order with another firm. Wouldn't want to risk it with Test All Water, to be frank, as you get the true test of a company when things go wrong and from how it responds and I found the response somewhat lacking.
