I am extremely frustrated with Termius. Every time I update the application on Linux, all of my settings disappear. All saved connections are gone. All configurations are wiped. Everything.

This is completely unacceptable. I rely on this software for my daily work, and after an update I’m forced to rebuild my entire environment from scratch. That’s not a minor bug — that’s a serious failure.

What makes this even more concerning is that this keeps happening around the time my subscription expires. The timing is incredibly suspicious. Whether intentional or not, it creates the impression that subscription status somehow affects user data — which should never happen under any circumstances.

Updates should improve the product, not destroy user environments. Subscription expiration should never impact saved connections or settings.

I am extremely disappointed and seriously reconsidering continuing to use this product unless this issue is properly fixed.

Termius looks and feels like a great product, I used it for quite a while on my mac, I then needed to move to a windows pc and this is when the issues started!
I couldn't find my encrpytion password, the only option is to reset it great I thought.. EXCEPT it deletes ALL your previsouly saved hosts and ssh keys, I remembered this pain when I first started using the product I didn't understand where all my clients had gone.
It painfully reminded me after putting a lot of time in collecting these hosts.
There is no easy way to export your clients/hosts from my working device even though I'm logged in and authenticated.
I've moved to Solar-Putty which can import and export and sync data using any sync method such as Dropbox etc for free.
Sorry Termius but you've made my life difficult and cost me a lot of time!

Amazing SSH client available on all devices (iPhone, Mac, & Windows)

There are just small things that make this app super frustrating.

For example, if you're adding credentials to teams. For whatever reason, it will always revert to personal for each new host you try and add.

Hosts will randomly disappear as well, making it unreliable for a paid account. I can literally see the servers that no longer exist still in the logs too.

This has happened so much that it's prompted me to write this review.

You're basically blackmailed into paying, all of a sudden all the saved hosts and snippets gone, when trying to understand why you get a very weird answer that says OH WELL, IF YOU WERE PAYING THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN

so basically either pay or dont use it as one day you will wake up in the morning and there is not data at all

The app has one of the biggest drawbacks: no export. You can import, but you can’t export SSH items or keys—anything, really. You also can’t back up anything unless you’re on a paid plan, and even then there’s still no export. It used to be my favorite app, but without export it’s just a beautiful, useless app.

Awesome software, very neat, fast and intuitive UI. been using it nonstop for the past month. Don't plan on changing it anytime soon. Cheers!

Since I've started using Termius, it has always bothered me how slow & inefficient it is to use the SFTP client. The SSH client is perfectly fine, but the SFTP client is missing critical shortcuts & performance improvements.

Downloading, uploading & even deleting files takes ages. The software even freezes when trying to delete more than 1000 files at the same time.

Critical shortcuts for actions like duplicate, delete, edit permissions & create new folder are also missing.

Mass-editing permissions is also not possible. Good luck editing permissions for 100 files INDIVIDUALLY!

I have a feeling they spend all their time in the "looks, design & layout" of the app which makes it look great but so slow to use.

I don't recommend to use it if you prioritize efficiency & speed.

I have been using the Termius SSH client for years, but my experience with their customer support has been incredibly frustrating. Despite reporting a persistent issue with blank screens after login back in September 2024, the problem remains unresolved as of January 2025.

Their support team is slow to respond, often taking several days or even weeks between replies. I have provided detailed descriptions, screen recordings, and followed all their suggested troubleshooting steps (including updating to the latest version and changing passwords), but the issue persists.

It's clear that Termius' development team and support do not prioritize resolving customer issues. I rely on this tool for my daily work, but their inability to address critical bugs has disrupted my productivity significantly.

I cannot recommend Termius to anyone who expects reliable software or competent support. It's disappointing to see a potentially great app fall short because of poor customer service and an apparent disregard for user feedback.

Termius is my new go-to-SSH client after being more than 10 years with SecureCRT software, I gladly discovered Termius, and I fell in love with it.

Slick design, easy-to-use, modern skins, very comtemporary. and full of features for free.
Now the downside, is that i cannot export or save my sessions if any thing bad happens with my sessions. I could not retrieve them, since I had to ge premium to activate Sync as they call it to preserve them.

Other than that, I use it everyday gladly!

I've been using the Termius SSH client on Windows and Android for some time now. This is exactly the SSH client I was looking for if asked to describe what I want an SSH client to do.

I recently went to request the logging feature be added, having not read the documentation fully, and lo and behold, there it was, already in place.

Excellent product. 10/10
