Dealing with Ahmed from Tepilo was a pleasure

Yet again asked them 3 weeks ago to remove property from sale but thay that stupid thay don't under stand a simple thing like no longer for sale with you the company is a joke

Up to the point of accepting an offer, Tepilo gave us average marketing and a reasonably good service for a reasonable price. After accepting an offer the progressions department were pretty much nonexistent. It's clear that the commission free model does not drive the behaviours you need from an estate agent to get a sale to completion. What really lets Tepilo down is their conveyancing services (Premier Property Lawyers). PPL are probably the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with and a stain on Tepilo's reputation.

To start with things were ok but things went downhill. The listing and photos were good, however sales progression is really bad. No one ever answers the phone or responds to messages. Trying to talk to someone is nigh on impossible.

Update: I have now been waiting 2 weeks to get a response from Tepilo. They have not responded in any way, nor have they responded to a complaint I have left. Extremely frustrating.

AVOID.

PLEASE BE ADVISED. DO NOT SELL YOUR PROPERTY THROUGH THIS COMPANY.
The sales team are incompetent, you will receive very little correspondence, ensure you do not pay the additional cost for assisted viewings as nobody will turn up and if on the off chance someone does they will be dis-interested and lack knowledge.
I could go on and on at how poor Tepilo are but I am too angry.

A very bad customer experience. It started out ok but went downhill. The service I have received over the past couple of months has been nothing short of a disaster. You can’t get in touch with anyone, the assigned negotiator has no interest in speaking to you, they don’t respond to email, calls, voicemails and there’s no way to make contact via their platform. I’ve tried to contact them via every medium possible and they still don’t seem to react or care. I listed with another agent and the first person through the door has said they had contacted Tepilo to make a viewing appointment but that it never went anywhere. Clearly there is lots going wrong here!

No one was interested after I paid the fee. I had a query and sent emails and text messages; no response.
I tried to call; the line was always engaged.
I recommend you use a normal high street agency.

Picked Tepilo to sell my house after seeing all the excellent reviews. Joe Daysh and Gemma have made the process completely stress free up to now so thank you both. Highly recommended

Avoid!

Difficult to get hold of anyone on the phone at Tepilo, and key personnel do not work weekends.

Tepilo use a 3rd party messaging service which is a complete waste of my time, as they take all your details but never call back as promised.

Only 2 viewings to my house in 1 month which I blame on tepilos poor customer service and lack of availability to get hold of anyone who knows how to do anything and help.

I strongly believe potential buyers are not able to use the online self service booking system, and not able to contact Tepilo to get assistance.

Tepilos time is spent taking your fee payment. After that the customer service is poor....and actually there is no customer service.

I'm going to ask for a refund as I can't risk staying with them.

If you are considering Tepilo because of the low fee - i would avoid them and go with a good estate agent.

Hadya, our negotiator was very helpful throughout the process and always returned my calls and emails pretty quickly. I would be happy to recommend Tepilo to future sellers.

Every question answered in a friendly and efficient manner. All viewings booked and monitored without problem.

Tepilo provide a very efficient system to organise a viewing, and once an offer had been made to complete the paperwork and produce a Memorandum of Sale, supported throughout by a competent Sales Negotiator.

In the process of purchasing a house being sold through tepilo. Was simple to book viewings and give feedback, and the process of uploading necessary documents after making an offer all online was super simple.

When I had questions I was given the details of a negotiator to speak to who was very helpful and quick to reply with any answers.

Had a couple of viewings with Tepilo before I got an offer accepted on one of the properties, throughout these i did call asking questions to be told someone would call me back and that never happened which was quite frustrating but once I had put an offer on a property and started dealing Rachael Bonnefemme its been a second to none service, she's extremely helpful, friendly and prompt with responding to calls and messages. Feel at ease she is assisting with my house move. Thanks Rachael!
