I couldn't be happier with the service I received! The entire team were really friendly, professional and efficient and kept in touch regularly so I was up to date every step of the way. The portal was really great too, secure and easy to use, no printing and posting here! Couldn't believe how quick and easy the process was, really do recommend Taylor Emmett very highly and have already passed their details on to friends and family. Taylor Emmet came highly recommended, and certainly lived up to the expectations in both the purchase of our new house and the sale of the old house. The purchase and sale were separated by about 10 months. We were kept well informed of progress on both while they were active.

When I rang everyone seemed so busy and under pressure, they had no time for us.
We were dealing with junior and inexperienced members of staff. Never the main one.
In fact when we had completed and I put in a complaint, I think from memory that was my only phone call from her.
The junior staff seemed to be running like blue tailed flies.
I explained right at the beginning that we had bought and sold in excess of 12 properties. We were not IT experts and could we just sit down and you explain everything instead of everything being done online.
The request was ignored.
It was the worst buying and selling experience we had ever had.
I definitely would not recommend to anyone.

Used Taylor Emmet twice before but never the conveyancing department. A very strong start which went downhill for various reasons. Challenging and condescending conversations about solar panels which proved the info provided was the right info, numerous requests for info already provided ie marriage certificate, solar panel, identity info etc emails arrived late into the day and phone alls were often unanswered, told would be looked after by assistant conveyancer when main one was on holiday only to find out they were both on holiday at the same time! Finding out more from sellers estate agents and them going the extra mile rather than our team picking up the phone to the sellers solicitors. Appreciate they have more than one case on their books but they need to manage their time better and improve how they communicate with everyone

A very professional and efficient service by Sally Todd and Elise at Taylor & Emmet. They were always very prompt at replying to phone calls and emails. Effectively chased our buyers solicitor when they were delaying. Taylor & Emmet have good relationship with Saxton Mee estate agents so both parties kept each other up to date at all times. Would highly recommend Sally and her team.

Lines of communication were good mainly by quick response to my telephone contact. Information regarding possessory title, and land registry confusion caused unnecessary stress & we feel was resolved by vendors intervention & more positive approach by their solicitor.

Utterly terrible
Was told they could represent us and led to think everything was in order and was then dropped as a client without any prior indication and without reason being given.
