Our family of five adults had an unbelievable safari in Tanzania September 2025. Jesca at Tanzania Specialist curated an itinerary that went beyond all our expectations. Or driver/guide, Bosco, amazed us with his knowledge and expertise of the flora, fauna, customs of Tanzania. We saw the Big Five and so much more. Having a week in Zanzibar at Bluebay Resort on the beach was a perfect way to wrap up our Tanzania vacation. Thank you Tanzania Specialist; highly recommend you.

Our guide, Lawrence, made the whole trip spectacular. He was knowledgeable, personable, and right on top of all of the details that made our trip more than we could ever have hoped for.

Our stay was without an error. The Company put at our disposal an excellent guide and driver. The program was varied and rich. Accommodation was perfect and food tasty. Thanks to Peter we saw many animals and had access to good explanation.

Our entire ten day vacation went exactly as planned with no disruptions or unexpected events of any kind. Tanzania Specialists took care of everything including pickup on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, accommodations, meals, transportation, ten days of safaris in five different National Parks, and return back to the airport for our return home. They customized our safari vacation based upon our personal desires and requests. The safari vehicles were comfortable with plenty of space to move about to see the animals close up and to get great pictures. Our guide was experienced, knowledgeable, and spoke good English. For us this was the trip of a lifetime and for me a boyhood dream come true. I highly recommend Tanzania Specialists!

First of all, we had a great guide, Hadji. He took us to places where he knew there were animals. He took us through the middle of the migration with wildebeest and zebras from horizon to horizon! It was amazing.
Our accommodations were first class at every stop, one was in the middle of the Serengeti, another on the Indian Ocean in Zanzibar. The vehicle for the Safari was fairly new and worked very well. Every time we were to meet a driver, whether at an airport, or for the trip to the Serengeti, the driver was always polite, knowledgeable and on time. Tanzania Specialists was 5 star from the beginning to end.

Our experience was truly one of a kind. Everything was handled perfectly from the airport transfers to the beautiful hotels we stayed in. It was a trip of a lifetime, but quite affordable. We were even able to upgrade our rooms on 2 of the hotels we stayed at. To the very end of the trip, they provided a tour in Stonetown with amazing guides.
Our absolute favorite part of the trip was our guide, Noel. He was absolutely amazing during our safari guides, but also took the time to share the beautiful culture of his home, Tanzania. We are honored he was able to host us.
While doing the safari, we saw hundreds of other companies (jeeps), and I wouldn't waste my time with any other tour company.
I have seen the bad reviews and a lot are about the drive times. The distances from the hotels to next destination is FAR. You will have your safari drive while traveling to your next location. If you simply look at a map, you can see it before you book. If you do not do your research, you should not be able to give a bad review. We went as a couple from the 17th to the 22nd March 2025, after 8 days in Zanzibar. The Tanzania Specialist Team was fully committed to preparing a memorable experience. From advising about the available packages, to planning and executing the safari, everything was perfect and went exactly according to plan. We were welcomed by our guide at Arusha airport and said goodbye at Kilimanjaro airport. Throughout the 5 days we had a dedicated guide and jeep. The guide who accompanied us showed great knowledge about wildlife and the best places to spot the Big 5. The hot meals and packed lunches were very good and had vegetarian option. The selected hotels have excellent facilities. The accommodation near Arusha is beautiful with lush vegetation and lots of baboons. It also has a swimming pool. The Best View Lodge has a breathtaking view over the Rift Valley and a panoramic view of Lake Manyara. You can enjoy both by using the infinity pool or relaxing on a sun lounger while savoring the wonderful natural fruit juices. But the most remarkable was the Serengeti Sound of Silence, right in the heart of the Serengeti. There are no words to describe this place with the justice it deserves. The sounds and colors of Africa are there. The staff was wonderful, and we even had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be visited by lions during the night. It surpassed everything we could have wished for.
If you have the opportunity to go on a safari thoughout Tanzania, Tanzania Specialist will be your best guide, for sure.

TS worked with us to build the customized trip that we wanted, including an excursion to Uganda for a gorilla trek.

Een welverdiende 5 sterren! Van het eerste contact met onze reisconsulente Irene, tot de laatste dag van onze safari was alles tot in de puntjes geregeld. Onze adviseur was altijd snel bereikbaar, gewoon via whatsapp of mail, en dacht proactief met ons mee.

De lodges waren allemaal ook heel goed. Wij willen iedereen die die kant op gaat, de Manyara Best View Lodge aanraden... wat een uitzicht! Personeel, kamers, zwembaden, tuinen en eten verdienen ook 5 sterren.
Onze gids Philip was ook super, hij wist zoveel over de dieren, de parken, de bomen, ... zo word een safari nog interessanter. Ook was hij super flexibel en altijd klaar om te helpen.

Nonostante le numerevoli piogge e le strade a volte veramente ridotte malissimo non abbiamo mai avuto un contrattempo o qualcosa che andasse storto . Giovani, preparati simpatici e svegli!
Abbiamo legato subito ed è stata ina settimana di emozioni incredibili per il Safari e di amicizia con loro
Abbiamo visto tutti i Big five, credo circa 30 leoni... Abbiamo perso il conto

Our guide was wonderful and informative. We enjoyed The company planning our itinerary and taking care of transportation from when we arrived until we left. One thing I would suggest is updating the lodging. We payed for the gold package and had some larger pests in a few of our lodge accommodations, making it difficult to sleep. Other than that, it was a great trip.

Everything was going great, mu guide/driver was super
then we were set up for three of the nine days on safari at the canopy camp ! No water for bathing toilets,no communication cell or wifi, poor food !
Whats not to enjoy ?

Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. The vehicle was great. The best trip I have ever been on. We saw everything we had planned to see.

The lodging was amazing, quite like nothing I have experenced before. The guides were very knowledgeable and the experience was unimaginable.
