I placed my order with Tanya Batteries' on the Wednesday expected the battery to arrive no later than Friday, After trying to call them early Friday, Saturday only to be answered with a recorded message saying they are now closed and to call back during opening hours, well 9:30am. is 30 minutes after there opening time, they seemed to be in some kind of trouble? lack of staff...
The battery finally arrived after 5 days of placing my order, there web site states they post out next day.

DO NOT USE SENT THE WRONG PART OUT THEN WHEN I TRIED TO RETURN IT MADE ME PAY THE POSTAGE. NOW HAVING TO FIGHT TO GET A REFUND.

I ordered a battery via the website, using my car reg initially and then checking size and terminals with my own. They unfortunately sent the wrong battery, same make but different positive/negative terminals. I asked them to send the battery I had ordered but they insisted that I had ordered the wrong battery and refused, instead asked me to return the incorrect one first at my own cost and then order another battery when I had received a refund. Do not use this company if you want a battery, any battery !!, unless you are prepared to wait a few months.

Terrible service. Battery ordered (car off road) Monday 10am. On Tuesday 2:30, I call to ask where it is. Calls were initially rejected by a robot as was a long message. When I finally got through, the agent told me it would be ‘next Monday but maybe this Friday’. When I mentioned next day delivery the answer was ‘we don’t do next day’. When I pointed out the Deliveries page on the Website actually states ‘next working day in the vast majority of cases’ the agent said ‘the website doesn’t say that’ so I read out the page and was offered a refund for my trouble. This company must be in trouble to be this bad. Avoid at all costs

Appalling service been waiting over two weeks for a battery and still not received their customer service do not respond or answer calls their delivery service they use are just as bad DX keep giving a delivery day and never show up or give reason.

When originally ordered(Oct 24)the delivery van arrived 1 hour before notified time. As no one home delivery had to be re arranged for two days later! Not happy about this but company showed no real interest in complaint. Today 18.12.25 AA breakdown said the battery is completely u/s and will not hold any charge and is completely useless. Vehicle was jump started to get home. Despite warranty Tanya need a complete AA fault breakdown sheet and or return battery for inspection. After which, at sometime???, they may consider a 'free replacement' or refund maybe! Cost to return is prohibitive and of course. no battery. no car. Tanya not interested in this point of view at all. Well, you live and learn and yet again, no customer concern showed at all from another on line supplier.

They use Dpd as a their courier, why ?. Ordered battery Dpd never even tried to deliver ( standard practice). Instead they dropped it off at their drop off point, not much use when you need the battery to start your car. Will not buy from again because of Dpd. When will companies learn that their reputation is only as good as the courier they use.

Chose this company as I have used before. They were very good back then.
Order from them as next day needed the battery.
The battery did not arrive for a week. Emailed and called customer service, one said it would be there next day as courier just collected,another said courier had not collected, none of the 5 staff that communicated with me could be bothered or interested. Its the couriers problem not theirs!!!

I wouldn't bother using them any more. Battery is good service very bad. Go else where .

Ordered a battery for my daughter’s Mercedes GLA 200D. Battery arrived in good time and when she visited we removed her old battery and unboxed the new one.

Immediately on removing the packaging you could tell that it had previously been installed. The terminals had clamp marks on them, the vent plug was missing, one of the terminal covers was broken and a seal had been broken on the battery.

I immediately phoned Tanya Batteries and was told “No problem send us an e mail with photos and we will put things right for you”

I then had an afternoon of e mails telling me that I was mistaken and that the battery was brand new. The battery is obviously a return that has been re packaged and sent out as “new”

I have used Tanya Batteries previously but never again.

Buyer beware if you decide to chance it and buy from Tanya Batteries!

Took my payment immediately when ordering an aux battery for my l494 Range Rover but then informed me that they wouldn't have these in stock for weeks. Poor communication throughout and no empathy I had to raise dispute with my bank all I got from them was excusesI then had to wait for my bank so without money for over a week.
Load of mither for taking payment for something they couldn't supply.
I'll never use or recommend them. Poor attitude and no alternative offered. Avoid at all cost

Well, this used to be a great company, order in the morning and delivery usually next day.. but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore (and common practice judging by other reviews) My order wasn’t even despatched for days, and didn’t arrive until SIX days after ordering, absolutely no good when you have a car with an issue. Wish I’d simply bought from a local supplier - was only £8 more.
Poor service Tanya, after over a dozen batteries from you previously, this will be the last, you’re simply unreliable nowadays.

Up until I had a battery developed a fault. The hassle and condensing emails claiming that the fault was down to misuse rather the warped plate in the battery. Unfortunately for Tanya I still have a full diagnostic testing rig for batteries so had already diagnosed the fault. A real "job's worth" customer service .

I placed an order for a car battery with Tanya Batteries on 7th October, choosing them because their website clearly advertised overnight delivery. It’s now over a week later, and the battery still hasn’t arrived. According to the tracking information, it’s been sitting with the courier for days with no progress.

I’ve contacted Tanya Batteries about the delay, but the situation remains unresolved. While they claim the item has been dispatched, that doesn’t help when the product hasn’t actually reached me. This level of service is simply unacceptable, especially when I relied on the “next-day” delivery promise.

I’ve used Tanya Batteries before without issue, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. At this point, I’d expect either a firm delivery date or a full refund. My car has been immobile throughout this ordeal, and I regret not buying locally instead.

My new battery went wrong after 3 months, to return was very difficult, waited 3 weeks for return kit. Still awaiting outcome.
They maybe cheapest supplier but their aftersales are very very poor.

Faulty car battery failed within its guarantee period.

Ordered a battery for my landrover discovery. Checked every measurement and dimension as recommended on the site. Battery arrived. 15mm short in height.

Website said phone lines open until 7pm. Called and lined closed at 5. Used instant messaging option and got someone. 6pm on a Thursday. Said they would despatch a battery for next day delivery.

Battery arrived Monday and the took away old one……..Same battery same size same issue.

Used to be my go to company for batteries but now can’t even get to order one. Stock levels are low to non-existent, website only allows one or two searches before you’ve reach your limit for the day (what is that about?).
Much better companies around these days.

I had a little trouble with the website initially, triggered I think by having 2 tabs open on the site, but I eventually placed my order for a car battery around 1830 on Thursday evening. I was amazed when DPD delivered it around 0930 the following morning! Because of this I didn't need to cancel my travel plans for the weekend. I paid just under £100 including delivery for a branded (Exide) battery, whereas the only equivalent offered by Halfords was an own-brand one costing £176.

Purchased a Car Battery from Tanya batteries for next day delivery who have delivered to address in my online account. They claimed for some reason the order did not have full address. Full address was entered during purchase and I’m sure if no delivery address was entered their system wouldn’t allow a delivery order. DX have delivered to my address multiple times yet on this occasion asked for further delivery details and to contact. DX had details along with name, postcode and number of business. The driver was 50 mtrs away from the address then tracking goes off. They provided a telephone number which sends you around in circles. A chat that is useless and sends you around in circles and did not understand a single sentence you typed.
Goods now refunded and my business will go to a company that doesn’t use DX.

I have always used Tanya batteries but its all gone wrong...

They are using DX couriers who are on the same level of uselessness as Evri and theres a very good chance your battery wont turn up.

Do yourself a favour and order from someone who uses a better courier.

Note to Tanya... next time your business decisions have left a customer in the **** do something about it - next day them a replacement by another courier and save their *** that way you will get a repeat customer and a glowing review instead of this.
