Smart Scam
I stayed at Luxor. A man named David confronted me that is with Take A Break LLC. He advised if I went to a time share presentation with Club Wyndham I would receive $50back, a gift card for uber, gambling credits and a 3 days stay. I went to the presentation on 11/30. The initial presenter was an ex college football player fantastic PowerPoint. Then you go upstairs and we met with Reuben a smooth salesman. Then I met with Lisa who showed us the property. All very promising. They said I could see what I would be approved for the time share. I was intrigued and sadly let them run my credit. The amount was $400 a month, %15 interest rate, only way out of the contract was to pay off the $30,000. I declined everything. They gave us the uber card for $25, gave us gambling credits, the free stay was for Vegas with a $50 dollar free and nightly $38 so not free. The next day I wake up and get emails from my fraud protection with Allstate. Wyndham/Take a break opened a credit card for $19,800 out of Barclays. I had to call and close the account and shut down the credit card they never told me about. They are extremely smart scammers and totally hurt my credit with the hard inquiry and credit card. I was scammed. Read the fine print and don’t fall for the over priced time share.

Also told property within walking distance of vegas sign, when it was 1 hour 20.
Had to get uber.
We were pushed into going so they did offer refund which was fair however we have not received any refund I have sent them various forms of proof of it leaving my husbands account and they are denying a transaction had gone through despite it showing amount going to their company.
Feel robbed, mislead and upset we have lost a kitbof money.
Please do not consider buying anything with this company
Unprofessional and Predatory
Take a Break was the absolute worst thing my partner and I could have ever entertained. My partner and I went to their seminar and were actually interested in the Wyndham timeshare. We spent an hour and a half with an awesome salesperson named Aremando who did a wonderful job explaining everything we needed to know without being pushy. About an hour and a half into it, after we gave our information for them to get back to us with a cost amount, another salesperson decided to jump on board- Crystal (pronounced Cris-stall), a salesperson who heard we were from NY and apparently got excited. She spent 40 min overexplaining everything Aremando told us already. She was pushy, making us anxious and uncomfortable, and despite us telling her that we are becoming overstimulated, she kept on. It was like she was determined to make us hear her entire gimmick. We said constantly that we are already interested and we just need to know the cost but she went on and on about things we didn't ask about. She's probably the first salesperson to actually talk us OUT of the thing we already wanted to buy into. By the end of her spiel, we didn't want the timeshare anymore we just wanted to leave. We told our original salesperson that unfortunately we're now in information overload mode, we're restless, and we don't want to commit to anything. We were only in town for 2 days for my partner's birthday and 2-3 hours is all we were willing to give them of our time (it was approaching the 3 hour mark). He brought over his manager (Dustin) who didn't like to hear that. He saw my phone screensaver was of my 2 cats and started pressing us about how if we're able to afford two cats we should be able to afford this timeshare. Like huh? Then he leaves and Crystal comes back over with a completely different attitude than she had previously. It was like a switch. She was hostile, aggressive, and somehow offended that we didn't want to buy into the timeshare even though she wasn't even our salesperson to begin with. Like how dare we "waste" her time, was her attitude. I explained to her why we weren't ready to commit (overstimulated, restless, information overload mode, etc.) and she kept saying she didn't "believe" that was our reason. It was harassment and coercion at its very definition. My partner became extremely anxious with this hostile confrontation and became emotional. Crystal still did not let up and even though I was speaking for the both of us at that point, she kept pressing my partner specifically despite my partner being in tears. Even Aremando, our original salesperson, looked uncomfortable with the way she was speaking to us. Things got heated. Eventually a higher up came and apologized to us for Crystal's behavior, even giving us free show tickets in addition to all the free stuff we were already getting. All in all, don't waste your time. If you want a timeshare, research them online, just don't go to these predatory events. Poor Aremando was only 3 months into this job and he was going to make a sale off us until Crystal got involved. I don't know if she was behind on rent or something and needed a sale but the desperation was palpable. If the product you're selling is that good, you don't need to do all that to sell it. My partner and I are still interested in timeshares but we won't be going back to those events nor will we be doing ANYTHING with Wyndham Resorts.

Jennifer walked me through the entire reservation process and even made me aware of the additional resort fees and taxes I would have to pay at check-in. I appreciated the heads-up as opposed to being surprised at the hotel counter.

Hello, Miriam. Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns regarding your Orlando vacation. We value your feedback as it helps every aspect of our company offer the right service and the right product for valuable clients such as yourself. We would like to start by apologizing for the frustration you have experienced and want you to know that we take these matters very seriously. We have also alerted the upper management of the hotel you were booked in of these problems, and they have provided the below response:
FROM HOTEL: UNFORTUNATELY, WE WILL NOT BE REFUNDING GUEST FOR THIS RESERVATION. I DID COORDINATE WITH THE AGENT WORKING FRONT DESK, LISA, WHO IS ALSO OUR FRONT DESK MANAGER. SHE CONFIRMED THAT WE DID HAVE OUR MAINTENANCE MAN, JONATHAN, CHECK FOR MOLD ON THE CEILING AND HE DID SAY THAT THERE WAS NO MOLD TO BE LOCATED INSIDE OF THE UNIT. SHE ALSO STATES THAT THE GUEST DID NOT MENTION MOLD TO HER, ALL THAT WAS MENTIONED WAS THAT THE UNIT SMELLED LIKE "PEE" AND THE CARPETS WERE DIRTY AND SHOWED US PICTURES OF THE HALLWAY CARPETS. WE SENT JONATHAN UP TO THE UNIT AND HE SAID THERE WAS NO SMELL OF PEE AND THAT THE CARPETS INSIDE OF HER UNIT WERE CLEAN. LISA APOLOGIZED FOR THE MINOR WEAR AND TEAR AND EXPLAINED TO HER THAT WE ARE ACTUALLY IN THE PROCESS OF RENOVATIONS AND THE CARPETS WERE ACTUALLY GETTING RIPPED UP AND REPLACED SOON BUT WE DO CLEAN THE CARPETS REGULARLY. SHE WAS OFFERED A ROOM CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT FLOOR, BUT REFUSED THE ROOM CHANGE AND SAID SHE DOESN'T "STAY IN PLACES LIKE THIS" AND WANTED A REFUND. LISA EXPLAINED TO HER UNFORTUNATELY, WE WOULD HAVE TO KEEP ONE NIGHT OF THE RESERVATION BUT WOULD BE MORE THEN HAPPY TO REFUND THE REST OF HER STAY. HER AND HER HUSBAND THEN BEGAN TO BECOME HOSTILE, ARROGANT AND ALSO STARTED TO MAKE THREATS, WHERE LISA THEN EXPLAINED THAT THEY COULD LEAVE AND THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE RECEIVING ANYTHING BACK FOR THEIR STAY. THEY DID CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WHICH CAME TODAY ON DECEMBER 1ST, 2023 AND THEY DID CHECK THE UNIT, PLUS A COUPLE OF OTHER UNITS AND PLACES IN THE HOTEL AND WE DID PASS INSPECTION! WE DO NOT APPROVE A REFUND FOR THIS GUEST.
While the hotel was not willing to provide any refund to us for your stay, as a good faith measure, we want to give you an opportunity to travel and experience a wonderful vacation. We will be providing you with our 4/3 vacation certificate that allows you to choose from several destinations throughout the US and Cananda. The vacation certificate will be sent to you via email. Above is your response to me. None of the things mentioned above ever happened but for the fact that we complained about the mold, Take a break travel had already made up to understand that we will not get a refund. Since they concluded there is no mold, please give me an option to upload the mold pictures because i still have them on my phone.
For the records, my husband and myself are very peaceful people, reason why we checked into a new location.

Scammers
Pocanos by Take a Break Travel is a SCAM, we went to the resort yesterday commuted for 6 hours took vacation off work- just to be turned down and told to pay full price for the package.
We had to go back to the city, pay toll gate fees, gas etc! And they refused to refund the money. Pure scammers

He even sent me links to activities that I could do while in town. He suggested ways to get around. He eased my frustration every time when I was upset about getting false information. Edit: re to your comment: I checked my email don’t have any vacation offers from them yet. Yes, I called several times and no one helped me claiming that Comfort Inn is similar to the 4 star resort they promised which is a ridiculous lie!!! Take a break travel guys promised us a 4 star resort and gave us a horrible hotel called Comfort Inn instead!This is the worst hotel I stayed. The carpets smell so nasty, there are cockroaches in the floor and the shower was not working. I called take a break customer service and sent emails but they did not help. Ended up checking out early and booking another hotel. Stay away from vacation vip, total scam!

100% a scam advertises 12 months a year but only has handful of days each month uses a second company to book the very few dates available
I’d hate to even work for this company like mark what a sucker it ask for the date of my experience but not sure what to put considering I got scammed 4 months ago And just now figuring out what a shady business they run
