I sent money on June 25 and my match received the full amount a couple days later, but now (July 14), I still haven't received my fund!!! It was a more than 1K USD transfer and I'm quite concerned right now! I emailed Swapsy bunches of emails but received zero response except for one auto-reply... I don't know what to say and what to do.. Anyone had the same experience?!

I used Swapsy twice. The first time I got my money after 5 days. This time, I paid on 7/9 and seller confirmed receipt on the same day. I am still waiting for my money today (7/18). Sent a message to customer support yesterday, but no response. I am starting to worry. How much longer I need to wait? Will I ever get my money back? What should I do if I don’t?What are my recourses against Sawpsy and the seller? What are other ways I can get some Yuan? All these questions are going through my mind. I asked them to refund my $400 USD if they can’t give me Yuan.

Update: I finally received my money on 7/19. Swapsy did not reply to my email. But on its website, there is a message saying WeChat declined the payment. I created an Alipay account on 7/18 and received the payment the next day.

Swapsy is the most convenient currency exchange platform I have ever used. It has a wide range of options for amounts, and both small and large amounts can be easily completed. The order process is very simple and clear. It usually takes no more than one day from submitting an order to completing a transaction, which is very efficient. Most importantly, the whole process is very safe, which makes people feel at ease.

I am very happy that I found Swapsy. I wished there was something similar for EUROS. Can highly recommend it. Bank transfers from China were always difficult. I aways got my money. Sometimes it took longer and sometimes it was super fast.

So far so good. Tried it a few times and its' worked well. The only thing is that I want to make larger swaps and only limited to 3500 RMB so far.

I've been with swaspy for sometime now, a few years. swasps are usually straight forwards. the only concern i have is that they dont reply to emails in a timely fashion. a automated email is sent, but the actual follow up time needs great improvement, aside from than, its a straight forward experience.

I use Swapsy to transfer money. After I submit my transfer proof. The money doesn't send to me after I wait for 2 business day. When I contact Swapsy via email, only reply by"we receive your request and will response as soon as possible." Nothing happen then.totally scam. still not receive the money

Update 04/30/2025 : received my funds after 24hr, apparently this is more of an exchange with other people that uses their website.
Highly not recommended, horrible type of way to exchange for funds as you have to wait for people who is looking to exchange.

Horrible experience so far, I paid $107 usd via zelle (instant payment) in exchange for ￥780rmb via alipay, its been over 8 hours and they still haven't send my funds.

If I sent the funds instantly then I expect your company to send the exchanged funds instantly, not a few hours or a few days. Horrible

Honestly, I’m really frustrated. My most recent swap was on the 20th—now it’s the 25th, so it’s been 5 days already. I sent $1,097 USD on the afternoon of the 20th, and I’ve been waiting ever since for the 8,005 RMB to show up in WeChat via the receiving barcode. Still nothing. I’ve never had this kind of issue before.

I emailed customer service twice—only got an auto-reply. I even updated the receiving barcode once, and then again this morning, just in case. Still no response, and nothing has changed. The status screen isn’t even stuck at “waiting for barcode” anymore—it’s been saying “updating barcode within 24 to 48 hours” for a while now.

Honestly, I’m speechless. Is this even a reliable service? It’s supposed to take up to 7 business days, but we’re already 5 in—and all my past swaps were done in 24 to 48 hours, tops. No one’s reached out to me, and there’s no phone number to call either. It really feels like I’ve been left hanging here.
Update: Although I was quite anxious at first—since my past swaps were usually completed within 1 to 2 days—this one took the full 7 days. I received the 8,005 RMB on April 27, which means they did deliver within the promised timeframe of “up to 7 business days.” While the lack of communication was concerning, they ultimately came through, so I’ve changed my rating from one star to five.

The transaction was quick and safe.

I have been able to transfer funds at great rates and with little trouble. Can be a little slow at times, but I've never been let down. Fees are low and rates are better than most other services!

Very easy to use and the transactions finished in a few hours.

I've transferred thousands of dollars and CNY to and from China over the years with Swapsy. It is easy and secure. I have never had a single issue, and it's the cheapest and safest way I know of to get money back and forth. It's a genius system that I wish we could have for other countries as well!

I would like to give a one star rating based on the poor customer service. You email SWAPSY and then wait a whole day to get a one sentence response. "You will receive your funds on Wednesday or after Wednesday." "Wow!" "Really!?" After Wednesday can be any day. As long you don't run into any problems and don't need to communicate with customer service, then SWAPSY works just fine. I feel sorry for anyone that runs into a problem because you will be left wondering, "What is going on with my funds?" Shame on you guys for putting people through this. I think all of the positive comments are coming from people that have never had to email the support team.

Had a couple of glitches the first transaction because I didn’t know what I was doing. Strictly user error! As long as you follow the directions your money goes through just fine.

Fee is ridiculous high now, the platform used to be good,
Now the fee to transfer usd to rmb is almost more than doubled than before.

Pls reduce unreasonable fee spike.

I always use this site both in the US and in China, very convenient because 1), no physical cash needs to be had, and 2) you receive the money usually in a day, so I don't have to go to the bank and I can stay home lol. I wish the swap credits I earned didn't expire so fast tho

Very high fee. At this moment if you use WeChat, the fee is 7.77% for CNY to USD. On its home page, 1.5% is what they advertise. So just be aware. Maybe 1.5% is only for USD to CNY.
