The selection of frames is amazing!
The friendliness of the staff is great and Megan (optician) was more than helpful in accuracy, knowledge, assistance, and kindness.

The lack of efficiency by a tech on first visit has created multiple visits and corrections but (thanks to Megan) has been as pleasant an experience as could be considering.

What I expected was not what I received.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. Even when glasses were shipped to the wrong city, that was corrected and I received them.

I feel that my glasses are not correct and the keep slipping onto my nose. It’s been a struggle with these pair of glasses and I’m not satisfied. They don’t have to worry about my bust ever again. And then they also gave me a small eyeglass case that my glasses will not fit in. I’ve paid a pretty penny for my glasses and I’m not satisfied.

Price tooooo high. I remembered that's why I stopped using them. No reason to go to a cheaper store and still spend $482.00 for 1 pair of glasses. Will never go back.

The staff at the Pleasantburg location are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Glasses did not come in on time but went to another state even when they said they were there they weren’t
Went to pick up and she acted surprised when I said they didn’t fit and she had to adjust them AND I only get 30 days if they need to be adjusted again????

There was a mix up with the communication of when the order was ready but the manager corrected the issue and showed me the utmost respect. I will continue to use this location and Stanton optical as I have since I lived Florida 4 years ago and used the Naples location. Thank you very much for your service!

I have had a severe headache since picking up my glasses. I thought at first it was the position of the glasses. Needless to say I have stopped wearing them and my headaches have stopped as well.

I went in for the 79.99 special and made it very clear thats all I wanted. Then we get everything done and we were charged over $100. Turns out they charged for the retinol scan which I was not informed of beforehand and if I had known I would have declined. Then my glasses were supposed to be ready on the 24 and they didn't get there until the 29th. The customer service was horrible. There were no apologies for my glasses being late or failing to tell me about the extra charge. I will never step foot in a Stanton ever again.

First, had my review been based solely on the optician who took care of me, Becky, the review would be a glowing 5-star review. She was fantastic. We are traveling on vacation and I forgot my glasses at home. I needed glasses right away. I came to Stanton because of the one day service. I already had current eye prescription so I just needed glasses. The person who seemed to think she was in charge, who didn’t have a name tag on (Hispanic with tattoos on her neck) was just a snot. Every time Becky asked a question, she rolled her eyes and seemed put out. When Becky couldn’t get a piece of equipment to work to measure my pupils, the other person did it and then handed it back to her with wrong numbers showing. When she handed it back to Becky she made a snide comment. Becky figured it out on her own. The other person who acted so superior, said it would be Wednesday before I could get the glasses. Becky exempt situation and said I came because they could make them same day. Again she acted put out, rolled her eyes, and to come back in an hour. We killed over an hour with no lunch waiting and then returned. Becky was there, looked all over for the glasses, couldn’t find them, and said the other girl was gone, hadn’t even started my glasses, and she’d make when she returned. Several later I got a text that they were done. I’ve owned many businesses over the years. If the other girl was my employee, she’d be gone in a heartbeat. I’ll guarantee you she is costing you business. By the way, Becky is a gem. Keep her!

Avoid this company if you expect them to stand behind the products they sell.

I spent $1,139.76 on a pair of glasses, expecting premium quality and customer service to match the price. Instead, within three months, the lens coating started peeling off.

The most frustrating part is that they admitted the lenses came from a defective batch, yet still refused to do anything to make it right. No replacement. No discount on new lenses. No goodwill gesture of any kind.

I contacted corporate, hoping someone would use common sense. Instead, I got the same scripted response repeated over and over: because it had been more than 30 days, they would not help. Apparently, a known manufacturing defect doesn’t matter once their arbitrary deadline has passed.

Charging over $1,100 for eyewear while refusing to stand behind a product you acknowledge was defective is unacceptable. A premium price should come with premium customer service—not excuses and canned responses.

This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this company. If they won’t stand behind their own products when they know there’s a manufacturing issue, ask yourself how they’ll treat you if you ever have a problem. I will never purchase from them again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I had an excellent experience at Stanton Optical! The doctor is absolutely amazing—very professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.

The ladies who work there are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They welcomed me with a smile and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. They made the entire experience easy and pleasant.
