Absolutely a scam , I should have realised when I was tricked by the extended warranty(already ticked box) that is so small you look past it , hasn’t even been sent! emailed no response, surely in this day and age governments can stop bogus companies/people from ripping millions of dollars from peoples hard earned $

I would choose a negative 100 if i could its been over 28 business days 41 days in total and still nothing I have contacted them repeatedly asking for a refund they keep saying its still in transit its still in transit or it will be there soon it says arrived then goes all the way back to the beginning of the transit stages after saying it takes 7-10 business days then changed to 21 business days i ordered the 9th of November. Refund my money. The one time I decided to buy online with electronics/routers not happy at all!!!!

First off, I would like to say that as soon as I posted back the goods and demanded a refund, I got the refund in full, and in quick time.
However…
I believe this business to be little more than a sham.
The product claims, I believe to be fictitious.
I tested the product in my house and they made not one iota of difference to the WiFi strength, availability or speed.
Some “advertisements” for their products are fraudulent and misleading - though this business is careful to not have those fraudulent ads in their name, but in the name of fraudulent “review” sites.
Having fallen for a comment that this was a local Australian start up business (and wanting to support local), I placed an order.
When the order went to a non-Australian site, I told myself “that’s alright, they have to market globally”.
When the penny dropped, after several add-on purchases which sounded good but then made me realise that if the product did what they said it did, you would not need these extra add-ons, I decided not to click the final confirmation button. But this was too late, as they had my information, and they processed the order anyway.
Furthermore they overcharged the amount that I had ordered.
As it is not an Australian business, there was no way to contact this business other than email. I did this immediately, but did not have time for a response before receiving their confirmation that my order was processed and Shipped.
I asked my bank to hold payment but that was too late as well.
I have to say they were very efficient in grabbing my money.
I emailed a demand for a refund and better contact, but received nothing other than standard formatted replies.
This standard response included an offer for a 25% discount - however this was less than the amount they had overcharged in the first place.
The products duly arrived (with an international travel adapter plug for each unit, as they came with US electrical pins) and I emailed again, but got nothing more than another formatted reply.
I made a claim from my bank, but this seemed unlikely to be successful, so as a last ditch effort, I paid (Au$40+) to return the useless products.
To my surprise they did refund my money - so I can’t complain about that, other than being out of pocket for the return postage.
Despite this, I have no faith in this business whatsoever and would not recommend anyone to deal with them - there are honest and fair businesses online; if you are running an honest and fair business with legitimate products, you don’t need to behave like this. 👎

This is scam, it tried contacting them and they don't exist! Lucky I checked before buying!

Tracked it & found delivered by Asendia to Designated country as by address.Delivered to Switzerland NOT New Zealand.I think this is a scam either by the above company or Asendia.Hope someone reads this..Someone from the company must have read this review as goods have arrived,why would it go from Singapore to Spain then Switzerland,shipping Co. to blame I think.Thank you to the person who sorted it out.

Was taken in by `trusted consumer reviews' NZ claiming this was the best wifi extender. I guess I will never know as I have not received the items after forking out nearly 200 dollars. I am saddened by the fact someone called trustedconsumer reviews will promote such a scam

One star is too much. I wish I had read theses reviews before purchasing. The worst and most unsupportive and unhelpful automated responses for customer service. More than 5 months and 25 email exchanges later I have still been unable to speak directly with a customer representative for a refund. Save yourself the hassle and pain - drop ship yourself for a fraction of the price if you have the time, or go into a local store that has actual people end return policies they stand behind.

Do not buy from this website. I ordered the Wifi Booster 10th of May 22 and they haven't arrived yet (20/6). I have sent messages and all I get back from them is that it's delayed. They refer to a courier company that I have never heard of and when you try to track the parcel it tells you it has arrived. Asked for my money back but instead they keep talking about parcel being with local postal services. Their responses also seems to be generic as it's the same message you receive every time you write to them.
Very disappointing and should have checked the reviews. Hope the next potential buyer sees this before they buy from these guys.

Went to purchase 2 extenders after mulling over the really dodgy discount expires in 6minutes thingy, and it declined the transaction and prompted for new details - at which time I called it dodgy and didnt procede further. Never received confirmation that the purchase went through. Bank automatically blocked 3 transactions of similar amounts from 3 different vendors. Doesn't get dodger than this. -9999999999 stars.

I was concerned when I read the reviews after I had already ordered two boosters, but they arrived 2 weeks after I ordered them and they work really well. What a great surprise. They came with international adaptors, which I also did not expect. Great product.

Well, in contrast to many of the reviews here, my experience with the Speedtech Extender was relatively ok, with only a couple of disappointments. Firstly the price did increase by 18% (as per the fine print), from the widely advertised price, ostensibly due to courier cost increases. So I paid just under NZ$100, and delivery took about 10 days total. Secondly, it does need the adaptor for the US style plug and this is a bit clumsy, bit once in place (down in the garage) it doesn't bother me and seems to function as I would hope. So, a 60% rating from me.

As per other buyers, DO NOT BUY from these people. They overcharge, they do not seem to understand your requests when asking for refunds, it will be an expensive lesson if you do buy from them. First time I've been ripped off buying off the internet. Hopefully the last!

Definitely a scam. Can not be trusted to deliver their product. After reading all these reviews as well I have decided to go ahead and buy locally. The "discount" is not worth the hassle, you can find better wifi boosters for the same price range locally. This is obviously a scam and their delivery service "Worldwide Parcel Delivery Service" keeps changing the dates and times of location tracking on parcel. Anyone smart enough to check trust pilot before buying this product, this is your warning not to buy this product.

Okay first of all, when I googled top 5 wifi boosters in NZ it took me to Speedtech, the website kept glitching so I put my credit card details in twice (big mistake) the order review showed that I purchased 4x instead of just 1x. Their was no invoice number and the contact support email bounced back. I wish i had read these reviews first and can someone please tell me how I can contact them???

I concur with the damning reviews, I received my expander but no adapter for NZ. I finally managed to find contact details on the useless website and have tried twice to get a response. The only one response I received was a promise to contact me within 3 days, it’s been nearly 2 weeks nothing. I think I’ll join a lot of others in binning this piece of crap and write it off as an expensive lesson.

They will not refund. We paid for 2 units on their confusing website. They changed the order to 1 unit and promised a refund in 2-3 business days - nearly a month ago. They keep "misunderstanding" our emails. They are crooks.

The internet speed is slower WITH the wifi extender than without and it does nothing to improve the dead spots in the house. I emailed support within 30 days to request a refund and return address, but they replied by telling me to switch it off and on again.
Upon careful inspection, I believe there are more than one specification of the extender. What they advertise is the 1200Mbps specification, but what I received is the 300Mbps specification.Considering my NBN has 1000Mbps download speeds (tested!) - the 300Mbps specification just doesn't cut it.

I feel that I have been purposefully misled by the information provided on all the review websites and on the company's website.

Product was disappointing, I'd seen it advertised falsely saying it would increase WIFI speeds and extend range, ended up buying it just to get a third of my normal speeds, even before the product was dispatched I was told it had been and that I couldn't get a refund unless I return it, pay shipping and a restocking toll.

Same as many other reviewers, I wish I had visited this site before purchasing. I found this product on a supposedly independent review site,
I can only imagine they are paying him. Small print on their website meant I actually bought 2 of these not 1, and I wasn't advised what the shipping cost would be. Thought I was spending about £38 then see £83 has come out of my bank account! Tried to cancel the order but while waiting for a reply I got an email saying it was dispatched. Then got a response saying if I want a refund I need to pay shipping back to them and a 10% restocking fee! Or they could offer me a 25% refund now. I took the partial refund and to be fair they have paid it, but in the meantime I've bought a different product as I needed to solve my WiFi issue quickly for working from home. The tracking link they have supplied for delivering this looks like the updates on it are complete fiction! Not that I'm too worried now when it'll arrive, it'll be going in the bin based on other reviews. Expensive lesson. By the way I ordered the TP-Link AC1200 system from Argos at £70, delivered next day, has solved all of my WiFi blackspot problems
