Mo was excellent. He called beforehand to check we had put heating on. He listened to our problem patiently and went about finding the leak methodically. He found the problem in the loft (our plumbers had done a shoddy job with too much excess flux left on a copper joint) and provided a report which is helping me take up the issue with the original installer. Mo also made some helpful suggestions about some other plumbing niggles.

I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star rating. They messed up the work and damaged so much of my property and goods but still had courage to demand £1550 for 2 hours of patchy work. They call themselves specialists but they are really not - above that they employ people who are very rude and unprofessional.

Once you tell them they are wrong - they become even more unprofessional and start calling you from non-caller and shouting claiming about how good they are and tried to help in the situation.

Now I had to open a police case because I got fed up with their calls.

Really reliable firm, detected the leaks, Joe in the office very helpful.

John came to detect a leak that was coming over to our property from a neighbouring property. Within minutes John had traced the leaks and discovered a lot more than just a leak.
The report was thorough, photo`s and videos also supplied to back up his findings and stating where the route of the problem lies......the property next door. We cant thank John enough for his honest and excellent specialist knowledge.

The guy that arrived onsite was so professional and his approach to solving the issue proved that he really know his subject.. very impressed

I was so relieved to have these tests done as I have been messed around for 9 months by my insurance company. The service was great, carried out in a professional manner and Tyler was very helpful in explaining what was happening.

Very quickly found the leak using a camera and light on a thin flexible rod. Also gave good advice on the best course of action. This type of service is expensive but you have little choice when you don't know where the leak is. I would highly recommended this company. Excellent service and their quote was not as dear as others I got.

We've been plagued with our electrics shutting off whenever we use the en-suite shower.

Right from the initial phone call to completion of the job we felt that we were dealing with professionals.
Tyler gave us a call on his way to tell us he was stuck in traffic and gave us a revised ETA. So, great communication.
Upon arrival he presented himself as a friendly, caring professional, and got to work immediately. Using thermal detection equipment he located the leaking pipe under a concrete floor. With the offending problem now exposed it was agreed that he fix the issue working tirelessly until he successfully did so.
A detailed report is now on the way to us to present to our insurance company. Absolutely superb service!

I had to all in Specialist Leak detection when my neighbour and his plumber refused to confirm that the leak in my property was caused by a leak in their part of the property. They were in the flat above me, and the leak was not against any external wall.

It too the SLD team just over two hours to identify where the leak was coming from. This was after two weeks of water cascading into my kitchen.

The leak was finally fixed by a plumber, but only after it was shown where the water was coming from.

We had a horrible leak in our flat but Mo went above and beyond to find it and didn’t leave until he had. He told us what was going on at all times and had all the equipment to sort it all out there a then. He cleaned up all of the mess afterwards and help carry rubbish downstairs as well

I engaged Specialist Leak Detection after two separate flooding incidents in a 5-year-old house, caused by badly fitted pipe joints under the upstairs floorboards. I wanted to get some peace of mind by finding out if there were any more potentially leaky joints, and get them replaced if there were. I was expecting a visual inspection, but SLD surpassed my expectations - they used cameras for visual inspections of the joints under the floorboards, pressure detection to identify anything escaping from internal / external mains, dyes in the waste pipe system (hot water waste, shower, and toilet, etc.) to highlight any leaks there, and thermal imaging to detect any hot water leaks. Thankfully there were no serious leaks, but they did discover a slow leak in the washing machine pipe behind the back of the kitchen cupboards, and leaking around the bath caused by poor sealant. They even isolated the washing machine pipe pending its repair.

I was given a full pdf report listing all the checks that they had made, with explanations, outcome and photographs. Overall I was extremely impressed with them - they were professional, efficient and friendly, and gave very good feedback in a way that was easy to understand. I would recommend them to anyone who has or suspects a problem with leaks.

Helpful and spent a lot of time finding the issue

Over many years I’ve had plumbers, builders, damp proofers, heating and drain engineers galore to investigate the various areas of damp in my house. All had different remedies…… and none of these worked! I learned about Leak Detectors and booked them in ….. out of desperation really.
Moe arrived - way too young to know what he’s doing, I thought. How wrong can you be!
Moe’s knowledge is vast, and he spent 3 hours using many gizmos to cleverly gain strong evidence. His approach was totally forensic. He painstakingly put the jigsaw puzzle of my damp problems together in such a rigorous way. He listened carefully to my random bits of information, and made sense of not only the damp, but also of other niggling non damp problems I’d been having. At last someone who took a holistic approach.
Moe explains everything so clearly, and with huge patience. He will not rest until he is 100% sure he has the right solution.
He worked out the source of all my damp issues in a genius way. Such a relief!
Yes it’s an expensive service but well worth every penny. I just wish I’d had Moe’s investigation sooner.

Tyler James arrived on time and was presentably dressed in company uniform, polite and certainly efficient. He worked quickly and was attentive to our belongings as he did so.
