The service from Jed was excellent. He was so helpful in every aspect of finding the holiday I wanted changing things around nothing was too much for him to do. He got me my bucket list holiday always cheerful even though some of the things to do were difficult. Thank you Jed I’ll be back for another holiday for you to help me plan.

It took away the pressure of arranging everything ourselves and we were reminded to do things we had not considered, such as the online entry card for a stay in Singapore.

When looking for an alternative to a Caribbean winter break we remembered that Jed had previously mentioned Mauritius as a winter destination. We booked the holiday for January 2026 to Victoria Beachcomber for 2 in February 2025 with expert guidance from Alexa. The holiday exceeded our expectations. I had a lovely trip visiting my family in Coaco Beach Florida, Enjoying good weather and visiting Coaco's historical town centre. A lovely boat trip out on the enormous Banana River. A visit to NASA and watching Elon Musk starling satellites being launched at least twice a week from my sister's garden you can't miss as it is so loud it is amazing to watch especially at night.

The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful, it’s great to have experienced staff that put together a complex holiday and make it seamless.

We stayed at the Fort Arabesque Hotel, Hurghada in a superior sea view room. The aim of our holiday was to go snorkelling and this did not disappoint.

The hotel was clean with a great choice of food and drink options. Our room had two king size beds and was cleaned daily.

The hotel had advertised that you could swim to the coral reef off their private beach and that it was perfect for beginners who hadn’t snorkelled before. This was all true and meant we could easily snorkel daily in a very safe environment. There were lifeguards watching us and a safety ring of nets were in place. We saw an amazing array of fish.

The team at Broads Travel couldn't have looked after us any better. Stacey researched the hotels and got it spot on. Thank you all so much.

I phoned Spear Travels to book a cruise, I find the cruise lines web site difficult to navigate and decided I needed some help. I was lucky enough to be looked after by Cath, she was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and most of all as excited about my trip and I am. Thank you so much for making my booking experience so easy and I look forward to booking with you again.

Everything from starting the booking until returning home was excellent.
Support from staff at travel agency was brilliant. I tried to amend my booking shortly before departure and Spear Travel support was outstanding.
We had a brilliant time in Reykjavík and on the guided tours. Unfortunately we did not see the Northern Lights- they did not appear despite clear skies. But the Golden Circle tour and the Blue Lagoon made up for it.
We also booked a ride on the Iceland Horses in addition to the already booked tours. It was a wonderful experience and the horses are so well looked after. It was freezing cold but the gear which was provided by the stables kept us warm.
Reykjavík is a very clean and beautiful city. There are Lights everywhere which makes it a wonderful place even after Christmas.
People are friendly and when you stick to street food places it's more affordable to eat out as it's quite expensive otherwise.
We are already thinking of going back to Iceland again. It was simply a wonderful experience.

The holiday in the main was very good.
We adhered to the daily plan and were informed of the area's history etc.
However the vegetarian option was remiss relying on sloppy pasta and and mixture of vegetables.
Our guide, although instructive on the coach, appeared absent during our stay in the hotel.
Over representation :- re large log fire awaiting us in the hotel was three medium size wood burners..

I have used this company for many years, most recently for a Christmas River Cruise.
They are very professional, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and have a wealth of experience.
We have enjoyed a variety of trips all over the world, thanks to their advice, planning and assistance.

I’ve used Spears travel on a few holidays now. I think the benefit of being able to have experienced people who may have experienced or can find out more info for you and put it all together for us has been great. For example we have just booked and taken the Norway northern lights cruise to Norway and there was a lot of things to think about such as various transfers in different parts of the country, excursions, upgrade etc couldn’t have done it in my own. The girls are all very helpful and on hand to answer any questions and provide reminders of trips, get tickets ready amd payments.

Alexa and Jed from Blandford, made the whole booking process so easy for our recent trip to Lapland.
We had the best time away, and can’t fault the organisation of the whole trip. The hotel was perfect and our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Would highly recommend anyone book with Spears travel.
