When a person orders an item, and this company enrolls them in a subscription, unless they notice they need to check a box to opt out, then it is deceptive and unfair business practice. Too many people are getting robbed. My husband who has dementia was taken for $57 for 5 months before I discovered it. I wonder about the legality of this practice.

My husband who has dementia ordered a whiskey glass in December and has been paying $57.00 for 4 months. I contacted them and they said they would refund March. I told them if they didn’t unsubscribe and refund rest, I would be going to all social media sites and bbb of Akron and bbb of u.s. if anything good has come from this, I realize his dementia has progressed that I need to take over finances.

I called my bank (USAA) and within 4 hours, I had an email from SOS Self Defense stating they are refunding my $57 and canceling my membership.

I ordered a camping tool that was advertised for free...just pay for the shipping cost of a few dollars...now they are taking 57 dollars out of my account every month that I didn't agree for them to do...now I want to cancel this subscription and want my money back.

I paid for the shipping of a small axe. Now like others I have been hit for $57.00 a reoccurring fee each month that I never approved. I have called and left a message and set them an email to reverse the $57.00 and cancel this charge of $57.00 each month.

I was offered a "free" knife for simply paying the shipping. I did receive the product, but about two weeks later my credit card was billed $57.00 that I did not authorize as a reoccurring charge. I tried to call the company less than an hour after my CC notification, but could only leave a message. I also used their website to request a refund. They promise to respond within twelve hours. We will see, but this should never have happened!

Put it out in plain english that the people who do any business at all with them is going to pay $57.00 a month to join them. They offer so called Free things for just postage paid, BUT don't say anything about you paying $57.00 a month if you do. So it doesn't turn out to be Free at all. And then they keep offering you the so call free tools but at the cost of $57.00 a month not just the postage paid.

I order a TRUMP 10.5 oz. Whiskey glass on January 29, 2025. The transaction cleared my bank on January 30, 2025. My order number is : 2905588. It has been 15 days (11 business days) since this transaction and I have not received my order. Where is my order ? Also I notice a $ 57.00 transaction on my account on February 14, 2025 for a membership that I did not authorize. I need this $ 57.00 credit back to my account asap PLEASE. I will be checking for that

These people are somehow tied with other LLCs that actually create changes (in my case $57) for nothing. They tried running my card (again) which was declined (again). They also sent me retaliatory text messages at 2am and again at 3am advising products

This company has charged me $57 a month without my permission. Can't get to their website because it is uncertifiable. When I tried to call them, I get the standard scam response which is"all our agents are busy, we will call you". Does anyone know the best way to inform people that this company should not be trusted?

I have fallen prey to this "business" as well. I paid for S&H of a blade, a few months later I began being charge $57.00, with NO products in sight. I have attempted to cancel three times, it seems to work for a month, then starts over again. My bank will investigate, occasionally find to be fraud and refund the charge, but I am unable to block the transaction. So... it's wash, rinse, repeat.

I responded to SOS for the "free" offer of a tactical hatchet. I get these offers from time to time from different outfits and usually the items are actually free. They just want to bait you to get on a mailing list. I received the hatchet from SOS Self Defense Tools. Looks like about a $10 item. I then noted a $57 charge by SOS on my account. I checked them out online and there were numerous complaints of SOS doing the same thing. Some folks didn't notice and were charged $57 for months. I read the original ad pretty carefully. I didn't see anything about a charge or subscription. There were also complaints about lack of a response from SOS. I called, left a message and got no call back. I emailed them and
they responded the same day. They canceled my subscription and refunded the $57 to my account.

I gave it a one because that’s the lowest I can do! If I could put a negative in there I would! I bought something and didn’t see in the smallest print that you have a 14 day free trial and then if not canceled they will take $57 from your account. I have been in contact with them and they answered me quickly so I will give them a positive on that but it quickly disappears. I told them that I did not want this order and that I wanted it canceled. OK will do that. I said OK thank you but now I want my money back. All of a sudden they don’t respond. So I have to go through the troubles of my bank to go after them to get my money back. I would not recommend to do anything with this company at all unless you want a mistake and a headache!

Received free item that was offered , but then I was charged 57 dollars for a membership that I didn’t authorize . I’m going to ask for a refund . This looks like a scam .
