Decent wardrobe for the price. Delivery went smoothly and all parts were included. Needs two people to put together properly, but happy with how it turned out in the end.

Decent final look, but a frustrating experienceThe wardrobe looks okay once you finally get it built, but the overall experience was pretty average. The quality feels a bit flimsy for the price and the process was very smooth. Giving 2 stars because it's standing in the room now, but I really recommend it.

I would give this company no stars at all… but I had to to do this review! Please do not buy from this company! Wrong item sent, damaged and only form of communication is WhatsApp! Still waiting a month later for the crap they sent to be collected and only got a refund because my bank did this for me! Please don’t bother! Debenhams shame on you for using this company!

I ordered a wardrobe from the range. It arrived chipped and with no instructions. I got sent the wrong instructions several times. So it was impossible to build.

I asked to return and refund stating my rights under the consumer rights act 2015. They kept offering spare parts. However at this point I had already ordered another from elsewhere as I couldn't wait.

I eventually got the range to step in and help.

The seller said I could only return if the product was packaged in the original boxes. However they ripped some open. They said the courier wouldn't take it if not. Interestingly the courier is the same company (the driver said a subsidiary in the same location) and they took pictures upon collection asking sliding wardrobes 4u if they could take it back. The first collection failed (broken down lorry), but the second was successful almost a month after delivery.

Luckily I paid via a platform with buyer protection and I got my full refund after 30 days and after successful collection of my return. I got told alot of different things by the seller, but thankfully I believe the range helped resolve this for me.

Please note my wardrobe had no locking nut holes.. I was told by the assembly man that this product would have been at risk of collapsing over time, as there was absolutely nothing to hold it square without the locking nuts i.e. no corner angle brackets or back support battens (at the top or in an X shape). This would be a big safety concern as the mirrors are heavy and large.

My experience was lengthy and frustrating, but through it all, even at the point of collection the seller continued to be polite and respectful. I guess the product manufacturers let them down here.

Wouldn’t give them a star if I had the choice had the wardrobes about a month and a bit and the glass panel fell off the front luckily not smashing and lucky that my kids weren’t around when it happened or it could be a different matter. Wardrobe very poorly constructed with double sided tape used to hold it and the odd bit of adhesive is not safe practice. Complained as other have received no help from the range which it was sold through so messaged them directly to which it was an argument back and forth, eventually ended with agreement on a partial refund which they was going to process on Monday but I don’t hold any hope they will go through with it so I have raised this with citizens advice to contact trading standards to take it further and I advise all others with the same issues to do so. We need to prevent others from being put in this situation.

Do NOT buy from slidingdoors4u, bad company im not sure if they really exist

Got to say they delivered 4 days early without notice so can complain about late delivery,but give us notice as they left the boxes lent up our brand new wall which had only just bean built , secondly I had to leave work and come home to get them indoors and now have multiple hernias but it says on instructions 9 hours 2 people , well I had to prep it down stairs carry it up on my own and had my wife assist me 2 times and break her up from tik tok which she wasn’t amused but I did manage to build it within 6 hours 5 hours and 55 minutes on my own So isn’t so hard and it was a triple not a single but also some parts was chipped, feels sturdy but I see in a month

do not buy from this company, poor quality, extremly bad customer service no refunds given, courier company is in cahoots with them. Wardrobe (ordered via Amazon) was different size than advertised, when asked to return i went through loads of whatsapp messages which would never commit to giving me my money back and then kept trying to strongarm me into paying an extra 80 for pick up, i kept asking for return of my money (which they would not commit to) i cannot stress how bad this company is do not waste your money they are cheap for a reason they are a scam company who will keep going stealing peoples money until they are found out then they will dissolve and pop up with a different name.

Got sofa from sliding wardrobes 4 u this sofa was sold on the range I received the wrong corner the wrong colour came in 2 pieces 2 different colours, missold but took my money want me to pay cos I cant vacum pact it. Range arnt helping no one to speak please don't use would not want anyone to be in my situation out of pocket

Avoid this company they take your money and don’t deliver, I ordered through Amazon thinking I would be covered via the A to Z , our wardrobe was delivered to the incorrect address the parcel was signed for from what looked like a two year old , the courier ( express courier network ) admitted to delivering to the incorrect address but the seller refused a refund and Amazon could not see past that it had been delivered , what an absolute joke of a company and so disappointed in Amazon

These people are scammers. Thankfully I ordered through Amazon so got refunded quite quickly. They are obviously in cahoots with their couriers because the courier website showed a picture of boxes propped up against a wall somewhere and a copy of my name which appears to have been written by a two year old. ( first name only)They insisted that it had been delivered despite me telling them I had cctv evidence to prove otherwise. Read the reviews DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM
Edit, the courier they used has a website with a Company Number that doesn’t exist at Companies House.

Scammers, wish I would have checked here first, why are these people allowed to do this to people?! £1000 paid, bent doors and then replaced with another door a month later that was bent the same!!! They trade as a third party and put you off again and again, knowing that the trader will eventually have to refund you! You need to contact Amazon, wowcher or whoever you bought through if you have already bought them. They won’t keep their word in refunding you, clever little scam I suppose but playing with peoples hard earned money??!! Karma will catch up with these people.

As a result of dealing with Sliding Wardrobes 4u (screenshots can be provided), I have to say they are the most appalling company I have ever come across. I do not recommend using this company.

I Purchased a wardrobe on 30th October through Amazon from a third part company,"Sliding wardrobes 4U".
The wardrobe did not arrive by the 3rd of November as planned and after viewing the tracking app I noted my signiture had been falsely signed. I contacted the courier company Express courier network both by telephone and email but could not get a reply. Every time I contacted "Sliding wardrobes 4U" they state the package has been delivered and were very uncooperative.
I then received a whatsapp message from Sliding Wardrobs 4U asking me to drop my Amazon refund claim so the could refund me directly.This in itself is a violation of Amazon contract conditions, as the company must communicate through the Amazon platform.
I refused and just as well as this would allow them to scam me out of my refund. It is now 17 days since I purchased the product and I am still waiting for Amason to complete their investigations into this matter and issue a refund.Feeling very disappointed

Sliding Wardrobes 4 U are an absolute deplorable company! I order a wardrobe from them in June. Months later, I still have no refund from this company for the faulty wardrobe. Dealing with their customer service is frustrating and stressful, as the go against any consumer laws. I purchased the wardrobe through Debenhams and they are worse. I was getting messages via WhatsApp at 3am. They were taking no accountability and trying to get out of issuing a refund. They even tried to say the packaging boxes were opened, therefore they can't issue a refund. When by law as long as an item is adequately repackaged the company has to refund. It's been 4 months and I still have no refund. I had to make a complaint to trading standards. Do not waste you money or time! You will regret purchasing from these companies. I expect I will have to take the hundreds of pounds loss.

I brought a £400 wardrobe, it came faulty and so I got in touch after speaking with Noor for 3 days now we still haven’t got anywhere. I had to replace the wardrobe so I went to Argos as arranged for someone to build it. I have explained this twice to Noor and she still insists to send the faulty part when I have told her I no longer need to wardrobe it needs collecting and I would like a full refund.
Noor is now saying you can’t refund unless packed in original packaging and as Noor knows from pictures I have torn it open because I had no intention to return until I found out it was faulty!
Very disappointed we are on day 3 and I’m still in no different position just £400 down and a broken wardrobe!!!

Avoid this seller. I ordered two wardrobes which arrived damaged, and the instruction manual was incorrect (see screenshot), asking to fit parts that don’t match the holes. I requested a refund, but for two weeks the seller gave unhelpful responses, clearly aware that as long as we kept messaging, Amazon would view them as cooperative and delay my A-to-Z claim—a loophole they exploited.

Eventually, I filed a claim, but the seller delayed the return process. I was told to pay up to £80 and repack the bulky item myself. The collection was arranged through OnTime Courier, who never showed up on multiple occasions (I have Ring camera proof). They falsely marked the collection as “refused,” clearly trying to block the refund. Based on Trustpilot reviews, it seems this seller and courier may be working together—do your research.

The seller also contacted me via WhatsApp using my personal number, which I reported to Amazon. When I raised this in the official seller chat, they denied it and blamed the courier—though only the seller would know about the damage. After 20+ contacts with Amazon, I finally got my refund. Avoid this seller and check their Trustpilot under “Modern Furniture”—the Amazon shop name is different, likely to hide poor reviews.
