Today(Oct 2, 2022) I had $150 removed from my account for the yearly cost.
I am a disabled Veteran with memory issues and on a limited income. When I saw it I reached out only a few hours after the funds where removed to cancel. I was advised they could not refund the money.
Customers should be first. I never received an email letting me know the payment was even coming up. Also,it was removed today and I never used the services. I had great reviews for them until this happened.
October 24th 2022 - I raised my review from 1 to 4 stars as the company actually did reach out and fixed the issue right away and refunded the money I didn't give it 5 stars only due to notification process could be better.

The annual subscription scam is a rib off on people who don't remember there's an annual subscription after a year; and especially when most of these video are useless or very basic stuffs that you no longer want to login to use in last 9 months and probably fade out you have such purchased.... Now suddenly pops up a $150 charge! You cancel it and the transaction haven't even go thru...but they said they can't refund you once charged!? If a product not work for you, you notify them immediately and they said can't refund, what do you feel? This is a plot scam that they can make money on people who could possibly forget due to not used often! If that's a product not work for customer, they should understand and not using excuse because of the subscription. I can understand they don't refund on last year since it's already been used, but not refund for something that you haven't even used? Do you think that's a right way to treat customer?

Very similar story from others low rated reviews. They charged me a annual subscription with no warning and claim there is no way to refund the money. I will try one more time with them and next with my bank. It is very "quiet" bad business. My two cents-stay away.

Bait and switch- stay away from SkillSuccess
Consistent with many others- I just checked to see I paid $69.00 for a subscription last year and was just charged $150.00 (what they characterize in their emails as a “slight increase”). They sent me emails in May and June about this general increase, but nothing confirming my actual cost for my specific plan and the date I would be charged. When I emailed customer service today for a refund, they feigned helplessness, and then in essence replied to my follow up with “we’ll take our chances when you dispute this with your credit card,” which I did immediately. It’s pretty rich for them to blame the price increase on “global rising costs” and then treat their customers like we are not all facing the same financial challenges and refuse to issue refunds when requests are made the same day as the charge. Stay away- a classic “bait and switch” if I’ve ever seen one.
UPDATE: Skill Success responded to my review, and when I again followed-up with them, they said that since I had filed a dispute, “We can no longer make any changes to your account since all transactions have been suspended. We just have to wait for your bank's decision.” I asked them from the start for a refund and now they are pretending they can’t issue one because of the dispute. This follow-up cements my deservedly-dismal view of this company.

Don't get tangled up with this scam! The videos are old.
They charged my card with no notice a year later. I did not agree to a subscription! I contacted them about the charge and was told too bad. Now I'm disputing the charge through my bank.
Looks like they pay for good reviews. Don't trust them!

Buyer beware!
One year ago, my spouse signed me up for the Skill Success two-week free trial, looking for a specific theme of class. It looked promising, so we signed up for an initial subscription, after the free trial ended. Six months into the paid subscription, I found that the classes I wanted weren't actually what I needed them to be. Many of the classes seemed pretty well done, just not what I was looking for. My spouse then contacted support to cancel the next subscription renewal. They were assured that the subscription was canceled, but we never received documentation of this.
With no warning at all, the yearly subscription renewed yesterday, even though it was "canceled". Independent of the havoc it caused in my bank account, the customer service to resolve this issue was difficult to deal with. Not difficult to reach, but they kept trying to upsell, blame us for their error (not marking the account correctly as canceled when we canceled it six months ago), and being borderline rude about it all.
End result is that the account is now marked as canceled, as it should have been, and they are refunding our errant subscription fee.
Also, buyer beware - it seems that the first payment after the free trial is considered a renewal. The first annual renewal (second payment) they consider to be the *second* renewal, and doesn't fall under normal cancelation rules. Sneaky. Very sneaky.

I first learned about this site 3 years ago and until now I'm still using this site and take online courses. They have many Personal Development courses that will definitely help you improve yourself and hone your skills.

BAD ETHICS!!! I signed up a year ago and paid a year subscription. I became ill and was not able to use it at all. Through everything, this was the last thing on my mind. Now it’s a year later and without any warning or reminder of a renewal, they charged my credit card $196.70. I did write them to explain I did not use it for the first year and already paid and now was told too bad, I have to pay another year and not be able to use it! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!! I am urging you to go push the button ‘unsubscribe’ before it costs you!!
