I was advised that my 1st choice purchase had a manufacturer delay. Modern kitchens offered a number of alternatives, one of which I chose. My second choice was deliverd within 24hrs.

There was a delay in my product which was out with MKA’s control but they kept in touch and communication was great. I would highly recommend and use again in the future.

Fantastic item, great customer service
I ordered the Franke Atlas soap dispenser for our new kitchen and unfortunately we didn’t have enough space on our new sink to fit this. The dispenser itself is perfect and we really wanted to make it work. I emailed as I was way out of the returns period, but I was offered a full refund by this company.

Great company, not so great courrier company.
I ordered a gas hob from Modern Kitchen Appliances, after speaking with one of their agents who was very helpful and reassured me that the item was in stock and that I should receive this within a week. Unfortunately this took an additional week due to the courrier company APC, who in my opinion do not provide a good service at all. I finally have the goods but it did require chasing up on my behalf.

Blanco silgranit sink
Ordered a Blanco silgranit sink, looks great and all of the parts seem to be there. Haven't fitted it yet. Communication was good via their webchat. Delivery didn't happen on the day we were given (not Modern Kitchen's fault) but it was delivered the next day.

Ordered gas hob that had to come from Bosch.
Was pre warned of delivery timeframe that was fine
Excellent communication when posing the questions before ordering and when the hob was dispatched tracking information was provided
The cost of item was £70 cheaper that the normal big supplies

Very Poor customer service
Very Poor customer service! I ordered a sink on 4th January and it was not delivered until 30th January. I had no warning of any delay for delivery. And no email communication from them explaining there was a delay until 29/01 when i had chased my order several times. You can’t phone them as they don’t publish their phone numbers on the website. You are expected to follow the link on their order to see what they have posted. It was not kept up to date and not always accurate, so not helpful.
I shall not buy from them again!

We would like to clarify that the estimated lead time at the time of your order was approximately three weeks due to a slower time in manufactures as per New Year holidays. We delivered your goods on January 30th as expected and as informed prior delivery . We also exchanged emails with you to ensure clear communication throughout the process. From what I have also checked we did reply to your communication via our chat and email as soon as you contacted us.

Good Service
This company was the only place I could find with a 71cm induction hob available (ours had broken and we needed a replacement to fit our worktop)! I checked on my order progress by online chat and email - both were responded to quickly. The hob was delivered as advised by email. One small thing - none of the enclosed user manuals were in English but I found one online. I would use this company again.
