Tony was very helpful and professional in taking time to find out what sort of sewing machine would be most suitable for me. I’m extremely happy with my new Brother machine and the free sewing machine lesson was a real bonus too. Sue spent time ensuring I was happy with all the functions on the machine. Thankyou so much - what a lovely team!

I bought a walking foot industrial machine, having had the chance to try it out and ask questions. Tony was knowledgeable and helpful - sue is a joy at the end of the phone!
Delivery and set up was brilliant.
Five stars to them. Thoroughly recommend.

Kept me informed about my order. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Very happy customer.

Fantastic product. Highly recommend.
This light yet sturdy case is ideal to transport your sewing machine.
It is large enough to accommodate a foot pedal. If you are attending courses then there is ample room to put a shallow box for essentials too.
Service was excellent and I received the parcel three days after placing my order. Thank you

What makes the experience great are the lovely family who own the business. They are extremely helpful, not pushy at all and are happy to spend as much time as needed in showing you everything you need to know about the machines that you are looking at. You can tell that they are what I call real people's people! I have been to a lot of shops that sell machines who are only interested in doing a very quick sale without finding out what it is that you want the machine to do and are very pushy, once they realise that you may only be looking at that time then their attitude changes!! Once I walked into this shop I knew within minutes of being there that this was the shop that I wanted to spend my hard earned cash with!! If I could give 10 stars then I would!

They always friendly and extremely helpful with any questions. I had my sewing machine serviced by them and would definitely use them again.

Expert and friendly - fantastic customer service

We didn't know where to start with choosing a sewing machine online and wasted so much time looking at various websites. Then we found Sewing Machines UK and their personal service was amazing. Chrissy asked us about what we wanted from a machine and advised us on the best option for our budget. My daughter is beyond thrilled with her Janome machine - it's perfect for her. Thank you!

Exceptional service. Great experience!

Very fast delivery..Box came secured and handled with care.

Always helpful. I have bought two machines previously and recommended three friends who have also purchased from Gillingham. Quick service. Now waiting for Royal Mail to deliver.

I LIVE IN FRESNO CALIFORNIA USA

Absolutely fantastic.

I have been to this shop quite a few times over the last five years, and every time the staff have been extremely helpful, and what's more, happy to help! They have checked over and serviced my current machine a few times, re-wired an old 1930/40's sewing machine, and a year or two ago provided me with an overlocker.

The prices are very reasonable, and the friendly advice I have received has been free.

Keep up the good work Gang, and thank you again for all your help.

All the team are very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about everything to do with sewing, thank you for helping me begin my sewing experience

I am so impressed with my whole experience of purchasing a sewing machine from Sewing Machines UK.
Chrissie and Holly could not have been more friendly and helpful on my first visit. Chrissie was fantastic on my subsequent visits to actually purchase my machine and table.

Somehow I managed to break the machine needle and I was concerned that it may cause issues with the mechanism. On phoning the store ,I was immediately invited to bring the machine in. It was checked thoroughly by Tony to ensure all was ok- which it was.
Excellent after sales service!
I was so impressed with the service at Sewing Machines UK, I went back to buy another (a slightly less complicated model) for my granddaughter!

Fabulous customer service! They went above and beyond, giving a detailed demo of my new overlocker. Highly recommend purchasing from Sewing Machines UK.

Russ was very helpful and answered all my questions,The sewing machine was delivered the next day which was great.
I’m very happy to recommend this company

What a welcoming little shop! I was really nervous on my first visit, but those nerves quickly disappeared thanks to the kind and knowledgeable staff. The service felt truly personalized—they took the time to understand my needs and helped me choose my first sewing machine with my best interests in mind.

A wonderful hidden gem—highly recommended!
