Do not go near this company!
Do not go near this company - they are dishonest scroundrels!
Having seen the 4.5 star review status on their fancy website, I left a £250 deposit to go and view a car, in good faith.
I changed my mind on the same day, however after subsequently seeing the terrible Trustpilot reviews which is a 2.8 star status on Trustpilot, with 60% 1 star reviews. I simply didn't want to deal with a company that so many people have clearly had terrible experiences with and I didn't want to be next!
I called up to say I’d changed my mind and didn’t want to make a long journey from Hampshire, but they refused to refund the deposit, saying it was their policy that you have to go and view the car and decide it isn't for you if to get your money back.
There was nothing on their website to say this and nothing in any communication from them, so I immediately raised a dispute with my bank and managed to get the monies back temporarily whilst the dispute was in progress and then after 2 1/2 months I got to keep the temporary reimbursement from my bank.
If they were a decent reputable company however this wouldn’t be what they call ‘our policy’.
Keep away!

Drove from Birminghammet Dean Radford had a chat about the car I was interested in, half hour later all done dusted and driving away in a very nice motor, no hassle, no pressure sell, just nice easy buy. Great to deal with many thanks.
AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!
The worst company I have ever had to deal with on every level start to finish!
They have zero product knowledge on their vehicles, extremely pushy to sell you after care products that are invalid when you claim, once purchased they won’t deal with you at all.
I had purchased a car through them and paid outright. The car is now being investigated and striped down due to underwires being cut and damage to certain mechanical parts. They are taking 0 blame and were extremely rude and cheeky on the phone when we made them aware.
Please avoid this company at all costs, I so wish I had read all the other negative reviews about them first! Everyone says the same!
STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!!
WORST DEALERSHIP IN THE UK!
***HIDDEN FEES***
ALL CARS HAVE £500 IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES IF YOU DONT USE THEIR FINANCE! INCLUDING A £169 PREPARATION FEE!!
***BAD BUSINESS***
I WASTED THREE DAYS TALKING TO DEAN TRYING TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO SPEND OVER 20K ON A CAR. WHEN I MADE THE INITIAL ENQUIRY THERE WAS NO DISCLOSURE OF ANY ADDITIONAL FEES.
DEAN THOUGHT I WASN’T SERIOUS.
ONLY AFTER MY FINANCE APPROVAL, WAS I HIT OVER THE HEAD WITH EXTRA FEES AND STRICT TERMS AND CONDITIONS PERTAINING THE COLLECTION OF THE VEHICLE. I REQUESTED THAT IF THEY RECEIVED 90% OF THE FUNDS WITHIN 24 HOURS COULD THEY GIVE ME 7-14 DAYS TO COLLECT AND SETTLE THE REMAINING 10% BALANCE (AS IM BUSY WORKING IN LONDON) - I WAS TOLD NO! “ALL DEALS MUST BE FINALISED WITHIN 72 HOURS, AND I SHOULD COUNT MYSELF LUCKY IF THEY GIVE ME A WEEK!”
EVEN AFTER ALL OF THIS I WAS STILL PREPARED TO PURCHASE THE CAR BUT THEN THEY WOULDN’T SEND OVER THE BANK DETAILS!
I’VE BEEN CHASING FOR 6 HOURS!
I SUSPECT THESE DINOSAURS THINK IM TRYING TO DO SOME SORT OF FRAUD BECAUSE THEY ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH HALIFAX PERSONAL CAR FINANCE FOR CUSTOMERS.
ANYONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH HALIFAX FINANCE KNOWS ONCE THE DEAL IS APPROVED THEY PAY OUT TO THE DEALERSHIP ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY.
THESE DINOSAURS THAT ARE ALL “EX MANAGERS WITH OVER 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE” WERE ONE EMAIL AWAY FROM SELLING A £20,000 CAR.
NOW I’M SO ANGRY AFTER HAVING MY TIME WASTED I WOULDN’T BUY THE CAR WITH A 50% DISCOUNT!
I WILL NOW FIND A MORE SUITABLE ESTABLISHMENT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THAT IS MORE DESERVING OF MY HARD EARNED CASH.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DEALERSHIP.
THE PRICE ADVERTISED MAY LOOK ENTICING BUT DO NOT FALL FOR IT!
YOU WILL PAY WITH YOUR TIME AND SANITY!
TO BUY ANY ANY CAR THERES A FEE: £169
TO USE YOUR OWN FINANCING THERES A FEE: £350
WOULD YOU LIKE DELIVERY? THERES A FEE: UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT
WARRANTY? THERES A FEE: UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT
THERES A FEE FOR EVERYTHING!
THESE GREEDY DINOSAURS ALREADY ADMITTED THEY GET KICK BACKS EVERY TIME SOMEONE USES THEIR FINANCE! AND EVEN IF YOU DO THIS THEY STILL WONT OFFER A REDUCTION ON THE PURCHASE PRICE!
STAY AWAY!
Shocking aftercare
Shocking aftercare, picked my BMW up at the end of a working day. When I arrived home, over an hour later, I realised that both rear lights were loose. I called the garage first thing the following morning to be told they suspected the car had been tampered with overnight! I spoke to Mark, who was particularly unpleasant and not at all helpful, who said they wouldn’t take responsibility! He went on to accuse me of causing the damage myself?!
After days of relentlessly chasing this up I managed to talk to Claire (one of the owners) who agreed for the car to be looked at.
This still took a further 2 trips, approx 3 hours each with a newborn baby and a days leave from work, for the 15 minute replacement to be completed as they refused to resolve the matter immediately, even with a video of the issue. They were aware we had a newborn and that we didn’t want to keep travelling down unnecessarily.
What should have been a good experience, was very unpleasant and very stressful, although it is now resolved and we love the car, they made the experience unnecessarily painful.

After making an appointment to view a car and turning up the next day as arranged to view I was rudely told the car was sold! When I asked why they hadn't contacted me to let me know the sales man simply shrugged his shoulders and said I wasn't in the office yesterday and it's nothing to with me.Rude and unprofessional.I won't be going there again.

Arranged to view a BMW but they messed me about and then told me the car was not ready. I asked when the car would be ready to view, they said they didn’t know but would be happy to take a £250 deposit over the phone. At this point I realised this was not a company I wished to do business with. If this is how they treat a prospective buyer, what is their ‘After-Sales Care’ going to be like? Bought an immaculate car with less miles and for less money from a BMW main dealer instead, complete with 12 month warranty.

I brought a BMW
The car was not road worthy when I drove it away, It has a manufactures airbag recall which makes it not safe to drive. This could have resulted in a serious and avoidable accident plus the fact i could have been fined £2.5k and 3 points on my license for driving a car not fit for the road.
There response was just get it fixed.
please stay away from them.

On Friday 9th February 2024 I visited this dealership in Sutton in Ashfield to view a BMW. David ,the salesman dealt with me. To my surprise he refused point blank for me t have a test drive unless I paid a deposit which he said was non refundable. His customer service relations was shocking. I am not sure if he was correct to take that attitude.
Very poor after sales customer experience
Not a good experience at all in terms of after sales. The car I purchased had a BMW front spoiler which came loose whilst I was driving it home. It snapped after coming lose in the wind.
I rang SD Auto to tell them and David (salesperson) kindly said he would sort any cost caused by the spoiler. He asked me to take it to a local body shop to get quote, which I did.
I rang back and then spoke to the General Manager (Simon) who contradicted him Salesperson and said it was not his responsibility to sort. The 30 day warranty (he pointed out) does not include bodywork).
The cost of the repair is £1,100, and now I don’t have a car to drive with the spoiler hanging off.
I would never go back after my experience and never recommend. It’s one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid this dealer!
It’s great place
It’s great place not too far from Mansfield! I was looking at upgrading my e91 320d to something newer and they had just what I was looking for, for a great price. The service was brilliant and the car was very clean and tidy! Thank you once again for the sale! Mike
**Beware they will keep your £1000…
**Beware they will keep your £1000 deposit, if the car they sell you is faulty! Second update for you all to read**-
They let us return the car after an independent body came out from the finance company and inspected the car, guess what now….
They will not return our deposit of £1000.
Due to admin fees, paid protection and 9 months out of warranty. 9 months out of warranty due to them selling us a faulty car. (They could not fix, and agreed for us to return). Only 1,236 miles used on the car in 9 months!
Stress of my partner using my car as he could not use his faulty car, the past 9months have been horrendous with no car for school runs and trying to get shopping.
Beware they will keep your money!
UPDATE - Thank you for your response, We were sold the car with the DFP issue which is why it has been in the garage back and forth for such a long time, we have finally been able to respond to each other by email and mobile phone calls as you said in your response your landline will not connect to our mobile.
Yes you have sourced a garage close to us this march, this doesn't however excuse the time since purchasing the car back in November and the car being with yourselves supposedly being fixed and showing the same issue, has it even been fixed? We are still not happy at all with this service.
Kyle will look forward to speaking to you.
Extremely unhappy, purchased car back in November (its march now) on the way home engine management light came on to be told the is wear and tear. We argued this going back and forth dropping car off to be looked at, losing money as having to take time off work.
It was a fault with the car that is not covered under warranty - they have agreed to pay and fix it, however lacking communication for updates still waiting for car to be fixed. Paid over £2500 so far for a car that has been back in the garage and not even used by us. Extremely unhappy as this is not a cheap car, we don't even have it to use it and are still paying for it.
Rude and disrespectful

Rude and unhelpful salesman
Where do I start ,I arrived to view a Volvo xc90 and was handed the keys to have a good look around the car which was in fantastic condition and prepared to a high standard the only thing I could see was the two front tyres were below 1.6mm so needed changing, when I went back with the key I told them about the tyres being low but to my astonishment they refused to change them even though they would not pass an MOT , I explained that if they changed them I would be looking to buy the vehicle but still refused saying there so called report they said they had 3mm left which was rubbish, after refusing I turned around and got back in my car to leave suddenly one of the so called salesperson comes out to say the report actually said there was 2mm left and so went to check them with his tyre gauge to find out there was only 1.5mm on them then tells me they need changing ( really !!)as we head back to the office I asked about the cambelt change and was told it’s 10 years or 108000 on them the car had done 91,000 , I questioned that as they are all different so contacted a Volvo dealer who said the cambelt on that model was due at 90,000 not 108000 so asked for the belt to be changed as it was due only again to be told NO , I asked why and Mr stroppy said it was a advised change and the dealer was only saying that to get work out of you , I explained that the pathetic 30 day’s warranty they provide would not cover anything and if the belt went the warranty company would ask was the service up to date and had all routine maintenance been carried out as stated in the manufacturers guide lines so in this case no as they was refusing to change it , obviously didn’t believe me so they rang another volvo dealer to be told exactly the same thing , I was then asked what do I want to do? I said change the cambelt and once I had checked the so called full service history would possibly have a deal as I was buying the car outright so needed everything to be spot on , to my surprise they said no to the belt change and informed me that the car wasn’t for me in quite a nasty tone ,so I told them what I thought of them and have never been to buy a car before to be treated like poo when I was a cash buyer, mr stroppy then tells me he is going to remove it from sale add another £500 to the price get the cambelt done re advertise for a higher price ( what a absolute disgrace and so rude with no intention of trying to sell me that car when all I was asking for was the full service was as it should be as stated in the ad) I obviously walked out telling them again what I thought of them and wasting my time travelling 2 hours to this clown outfit , only good thing is I managed to get a test drive of a pathetic 5 mins around the block ( really going to get that in to top gear ) but it helped me decide that I would never buy a car from this outfit and they need to learn about customer relations and that day they lost a sale for definite, when I eventually got home they had the cheek to leave a message to ring them ( yeah right) the next day I went to a proper dealer and purchased a Volvo there where I was treated as a customer and not something you had stepped in , again when I was signing the paperwork for my new car they had the cheek to ring again to inform me that the tyres would be changed and the cambelt replaced but the extra £500 they had put on the car they would honour the price I had seen it at but would have to give them £250 to seal the deal !! Well to late as picking up my new car Friday from a dealer that cares about its reputation and customer service, if you are looking to buy from these then check the service history as the cars are in excellent condition but anything that needs doing to them good luck as they will argue the toss even if you are in the right , one salesman was very rude and I actually think the other guy was embarrassed about him as he was the one who messaged me but believe me after that experience there was no way I would buy a car from them regardless of there cars being prepared to a good standard, very disappointed as you have good reviews, look forward to this company replying.

I brought a Mercedes E class from SD automotive and am really happy with their service especially David which had alot of patience as the TFL done a mistake and the vehicle was not ULEZ exempt when it should be so I had to deal with it for couple days and had to call David a few times for some doc's and he was really patient with the process and at the end I manage to exempt it. The car was so clean in and out all polished dressed and ready. thankyou guys! really friendly team!
