So apparently this is a Chinese company and NOT a company in the USA. Just tried to purchase something and got an immediate red flag from our bank. So, we did not let the payment go through and blocked the site. All of the reviews online are fake, or posted by this company Lianshou LTD from China. There is no information online about this company and there is no information on the company that says they are in Nebraska.

I understand this period is busy, but to charge a premium delivery fee and still not do a simple pick (surely you forecasted a busy period so staff could be prepared) is not really up to the levels I have come to expect from Scan.
After contacting customer services, I had the same copy & pasted response, *order has been marked priority... pull the other one.
They certainly make sure they take the payment promptly... funny that.

Waited 2 weeks for a pre-order and still no estimation of a delivery date. Cancelled the pre-order and they sent my pc case. This arrived on time but had a massive crack in the front. Will not use again.
Over promise and under deliver
Never Used Scan before. Was looking for a pre-built gaming PC to treat myself that would fit within my budget and something that could arrive quickly. I could see from the website there was lots to choose from and not only did the price sway me to use Scan but also that the rig I wanted was in stock and if I ordered that day (Sunday) I would get it Tuesday. (I paid bit extra for earlier delivery) So ticked all the box's.
Sadly I was contacted late Monday by email (even though turned out this was important and they had my mobile) to inform me that the motherboard was out of stock and if it was ok to swap it for a different part. No full info was given on the original part or the new one. I brought pre built because i don't know enough to choose parts and build myself. I was never told the date of delivery would change as a result. It was only because I rang them I found out that this would push the delivery back a day. So not a good start.
Gets worse. The next day I never got an email to say it had been dispatched yet so once again I take the time out to ring and chase. To only find out there has been a technical issue in there store that day that prevents that from testing the newly built rig and therefore was not dispatched in time. No one would have told me this, only because I rang them! So again the delivery was postponed again by another 24 hours.
A positive... The rig finally arrived and came well packaged and there were no visible issues with packaging or the rig including the internal hardware. All was ready set up out the box and had no issues.
It wasn't until I wanted to change the RGB lighting, that Scan make a big deal about, that there appears to be no way of changing it (effects, colour or anything) just stuck on a static bright blue colour whether I like it or not!
I messaged Scan via their website and never got a reply. I finally did receive an email some days later however this was not in reply to my message it was a standard copy and paste email asking if all was ok with my recent purchase? I replied to that email explaining issue with the RGB as there is no pre-installed software or instructions. Quite a few days later just get email saying there should have been pre-installed software (so much for the thorough tests to check all was ok that was also why it was delayed) so just click this link instead. Which i did and did not work.
Summary; Yes a good rig (all the important bits work even if it does stand out with the fixed colour choice that's been made for me). Price was OK, not overpriced but nothing to get too excited about either. But what really sticks out to me is Scan over promise and under deliver. Poor service not keeping the customer informed of delays. No Sorry or offer of compensation. Messed me around taking days off work to receive a delivery 3 times.

Pure quantity
An all round excellent service. Would recommend this website anyone interested in building computers or upgrading them. Super fast delivery (rather pricey though) and well packaged goods! Prices were competitive and the range of products were fantastic!
Great service
Place my order on a Saturday just after 12pm for a Intel nuc and some ram to upgrade it. Received a confirmation email within minutes that my order was confirmed and with a hour a second email notifying me that it had been dispatched. To my misfortune I choose Dpd over ups at the time of checkout. After reading there reviews here including my own which I left them I will never use Dpd again but will be using scan again in the future.

So, I purchased every component for my PC build at 14:30 on Thursday afternoon. Seven or eight different items. Received at 09:30 Friday morning, all for about a tenner in delivery cost. My only issue was that my SSD didn't come with a 3.5 bracket (or a box) but sometimes tells me that this isn't Scan's fault and I won't mark them down for it.
Can't recommend enough. I'll be back to get my 1440p monitor!

This is the comment I left after a recent order.
Original part ordered was out of stock after the purchase was made and I was not made aware of this until I contacted them and no offer of compensation for this error was made.
Michael in LiveChat was happy to help but changed the order to the wrong product and refused to amend it as it was "being picked", but hadn't actually been released yet so was technically still in the building.
Tho the delivery was made in good time I still feel very let down by the experience overall.
Best Service Yet For Tech Stuff
Firstly, Scan had the best price for the combination of items I needed to rebuild my PC, by a good margin, and they had all those items in stock. Secondly they have an excellent web site and complete inventory of parts, so ordering was easy.
The delivery was also excellent, with a tracking service that lets you easily check the status of your order and even follow the location of the named delivery driver on the map, if you are feeling a bit impatient to get your new kit :). They were able to deliver next day and first thing that morning I was sent a delivery slot within a one hour band. That's ideal if you don't want to sit at home all day, as you do with many other delivery companies. And the equipment did arrive on time, well packaged.
I've had many difficulties with online ordering, wrong stuff, breakages, drivers can't find my address or fail to notice I'm in, including a recent one for a next day delivery that took four attempts and a week to resolve. So I really appreciate finding a service that worked this smoothly.

I made a Trustpilot account just to leave feedback. I bought a GTX 970 from scan and decided that I did not really like it a weak later. I email scan support and get a full refund, no questions asked! I think it is worth buying from scan even if it is a bit more expensive!
Convenient and reliable service
I used to buy from this company in person a lot when I lived in Manchester. Now I'm living elsewhere, I used them again recently, and came to appreciate the quality of their delivery service as well.
Ordered a hard drive, which arrived by soon developed a fault. RMAd it without any problem,. they collected it at no cost to me and a replacement drive arrived a couple of days later. The replacement also developed a (different) fault; again it was collected by them the following day. In that case I asked for a refund instead, which was processed promptly.
Meanwhile, I ordered another drive. In that case, the delivery company claimed I was out while I wasn't (I was sitting at home when I got the text message claiming I wasn't in!). Made a quick phone call to Scan, and the delivery guy turned up later on the same day.
All round excellent service. No inconvenient having to take things to the post office yourself, or pay for return postage, or attempts to claim that faulty items are somehow okay or any of that kind of nonsense that gets companies a bad name. Just decent, straightforward service.
Good prices on most things
Quite agree with other comments about pricey delivery. Luckily, I ordered something a while ago which promised lifetime delivery free. So look out for that one. Indeed I've just had two items delivered free to two different addresses. Both turned up well on time and the items were far cheaper than I could find them elsewhere. If anything I found the service better than a few years ago and will be using them again. Hope this helps!
Great local company
I've bought many items from Scan over the years and have never had a problem. Their prices are very competitive and their range of PC items is wide as any online retailer. Naturally, being nearby, I always collect and avoid waiting and shipment charges.
When collecting, they have a very efficient system, so one never waits long.
