No queue, so I was seen straight away and exchanged my USD notes.
I would have preferred a bank transfer to my account instead of cash. Otherwise everything very good.

Yes ordering the currency and collecting it from the store was really good. The reason for not giving the experience a 5 star was the charge for the envelope to put the currency in. I had just bought over £500 pounds of euros and on principle would not buy the envelope. I presume this charge has recently started as I have never been charged before.

Attendant at travel desk said he had to leave but someone would take over in 5 minutes. Fair enough till I returned to see a sign saying would be 50 minutes before it reopened. Just not good enough. I don't live in Truro and I was then running late for the rest of the day.

Easy to order
The lady at Wakefield was professional & helpful. I don’t know her name but, It was around 12.30 when we collected the money.

Whilst the lady on the counter was lovely, the experience was awful due to the amount of questions I was forced to answer in order to get the currency I had ordered online. I travel regularly for work and have obtained my currency through Sainsbury’s for the past 18 months or more. Whilst I appreciate you must protect against money laundering I was changing £3000 not £30,000 and if there were questions that needed to be asked, do it online when ordering rather than in store in front of other customers. I was asked for utility bills as well as my driving licence (I was also asked for the paper part of my licence, which I obviously don’t carry), my business name, trade and reason I needed ‘a large amount of euros’. It was embarrassing and unpleasant despite the member of staff being lovely and repeatedly apologising for everything. She was great, the Spanish Inquisition was awful. I may go back to using the Post Office for currency following this experience.
My partner is a criminal, financial investigator so I’m aware of the requirements but I feel your public process is uncomfortable for both the MOS and the customer.

Apparently now not owned by Sainsbury. Such a shame.

Great customer service; helpful and engaging

Failed to receive an email to say my money available to collect. The staff member did'nt seem to know what she was doing! Counted out the notes 3 times before handing it over.
