They had a great selection to choose from. My order arrived very quickly, and the quality exceeded my expectations. I ended up ordering 2 more rugs and loving them all.

Our purchase of a large Karastan wool rug and pad from Rug Studio online was terrific from beginning to end! We were updated at every juncture. The sale rug had flaws reported up front and repairs were completed and photographed with my option to decline or accept the purchase and additional deduction when I called customer service to ask questions a living extremely nice lady talked to me on the phone to answer everything. No AI or automated help line! The heavy wool rug was shipped right to our door and arrived in excellent as-shipped condition. It is beautiful and makes us happy every day since!

my rug came quickly. it was wrapped so well, we had a contest to count the layers of protective wrapping it had. i think 5!!! the southeastern truck delivery guy was very very nice. there was a delay in delivery and the lady was very apologetic. the rug is spectacular. i have been searching for this rug for 8 months. so happy happy. what a wonderful present to me from my husband. just in time for out of town company. thank you soooo much!!!!

I would give them a zero if it were possible.
The primary issue I have is with their return policy.
We purchased 3 very inexpensive runners for a stairway in a basement renovation project. We had a large rug in the main room from Livabliss with colors that went well in the space and so ordered runners also from Livabliss that had the same color names in the description. When they came, the colors were very different from the large rug and clashed with everything else in the space. We needed to return them and try again. We contacted them to request a return and were told we needed to email them the specifics and wait for them to determine whether or not they would allow a return. Several days later we got a notice that they would allow us to return the rugs, but we had to place them in the original packaging, make labels that had everything imaginable on them including their phone number, put the email allowing us to return in the package and be sure we put the proper RA# on the outside of the package, noting that any error would mean they would not be accepted. At that point we could take them to the carrier of our choice and pay the shipping charges. They also made it clear that they would inspect the rugs to make sure we hadn't damaged them before any refund would be issued. For 2 runners and a 2 x 3 rug, that had a total cost of just over $200 we paid over $100 to ship them back using UPS. This is something we have not encountered anywhere else and will never buy from them again. The measure of a company is not how they manage things if you are happy with their product, but how they manage things if you are not. The Rug Studio has failed miserably.

Great service, accommodating and delivered in record time..

We inadvertently ordered two rugs instead of one. When we discovered our error we called rugstudio and they quickly corrected the order quantity right on the spot. Thanks for the great customer service!

The customer service at RugStudio is outstanding. I used to online email "contact us" feature to request information. Responses were almost immediate!

We have been doing business with O R G since the early 80’s. There has been many Oriental Rugs in our house and even one in the wall, all from O R G. We have had every kind of interaction with this company a consumer could have and we were always treated fairly and what I thought was honestly. If you are looking for a great product with Great service-Oriental Rug Galleries of Texas is the only place to go.

I purchased several small rugs to coordinate fabrics and rugs in a room after reading the return policy that said all items except "custom orders" could be returned. No where on my order form or my confirmation email did it say the standard size rugs that I ordered were "custom" and could not be returned. I was only notified of this the next day when I received another email telling me my order was "made to order" and could not be cancelled or returned. Rug Studio did give me a store credit but refused to apply the credit to a purchase I made the day before I was notified that I would not receive a full refund to my credit card. They said they do not have the capability to do this. I find that hard to believe in this day and age. I will not be ordering from them again due to their deceptive return policy language

Such a shame! Everyone was wonderful when I palced my $1600 order and waited 6 moinths for delivery. Now that the delivery is here, no one can give me the correct information, I had to call the delivery service myself to change the date, and more importantly not one customer service person suggested that I pay a little extra and have the rug delivered inside my home since it is so heavy. It was let by my garage. I called customer service for recomedations and was told I can return the rug. Both Marissa and Carla, the supervisor, hung up on me when I pushed back and asked for the corporate office! Apparently they are all so nice and kind during the pruchase process but not when there is an issue as they are unable to resolve it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I had a problem with the delivery; FedEx delivered to the wrong address! I called RugStudio; not ONLY did a person pick up the phone, but she was able to pull up my order and said that they would ship me out a new rug ASAP!!! Luckily, the person who received my rug reached out on FB, and I was able to pick it up at their house. It was wonderful dealing with this company, and they have a very loyal customer. I would very much recommend them - great products, fair prices, and WONDERFUL customer service!

I have been looking at this rug for 3 years at the other high end stores and I’m so glad I found it here and at one third of the price. Shipping was fast and great customer service.

Buyers beware: I have taken RugStudio to small claims court to get full refund and free return label! The rug I received was “item not as described” long story short RugStudio takes no accountability at all for rugs not looking anything like the pictures online. Rug Studio absolutely Blames their customers and no where in their policy will they provide a refund of any kind! (Took me awhile to figure this one out)

Would not buy from this company. Rug is so-so . The delivery process was awful . Took forever to get and shipper was horrible. Will not buy from this company again

I bought a Karastan smartstrand euphoria rug because I thought it would be durable. However strands of fiber are coming out. And I dont mean fuzz I mean whole strands. I can pull continuous rows of strands on the ends of the rug. I also have random strands coming out over the entire rug making it look bad. Rugstudio is blaming me and saying I have no warranty case because they claim I am using the wrong type of vacuum......Despite the karastan and Rugstudio warranty/care brochure having no requirement for raised beater bar/suction only vacuum, Rugstudio does not stand behind their product.
I was asked for an update on 07/06/2026 so here it is:
The rug continues to fall apart. The shedding isnt slowing down. In Rugstudio's response below they offered to inspect the rug however we had to pay for shipment if they said there wasn't a problem with the rug. We decided it wasn't worth the cost because, based on my correspondence with them, we believe they would claim the issues we're experiencing are due to our vacuum rather than the product itself. We dont understand how a vacuum would cause strands to fall out in one particular area but whatever. We contacted Karastan, but they referred us back to RugStudio and would not work with us directly. Don't buy from Karastan either because they dont stand behind their product. Our lesson learned: Don't buy a rug online (especially from rugstudio). When pictures don't capture the problem accurately, there is no way to get someone out to look at the rug when there are issues. Buy from a local vendor.

I ordered an expensive rug from Rug Studio and waited months for the rug which was on back order. When it finally arrived, it had a wire lock on the rug (similar to the anti-theft devices you see on clothing in stores). This could NOT be removed, and their suggestion was "tuck the plastic lock under the rug" or "go buy wirecutters." Not the service you expect from a business selling expensive items, and incredibly discourteous. Never again, and buyer beware.

Have never had such an outstanding experience with any company! Rugstudio really sets the gold standard for customer care and quality of service. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the rug; Becky especially was a tremendous help in facilitating an exchange for a different size (she really couldn’t have made it easier!) and was so kind and helpful when I had delivery issues. They could have left me hanging, but their team proactively reached out daily until the matter was resolved with the courier. Truly, you could not find a better company to trust with your rug purchase and will be recommending them to everyone!
