After eyeing Riley Watch Co for a long, long time, I was excitedly surprised when my wife gifted me a Toybox Yellow HH01.

Unfortunately the excitement was short-lived when the piece was unboxed and I found it was not functional.

It was never determined what the issue was as after a few short communications, the customer service representative offered a replacement option (that never amounted to anything) and then stopped responding completely.

All in all, a pretty disappointing experience and while I cannot properly judge the piece as I wasn't able to see it in a functioning state, I can say that the customer support was one of the poorest I've experienced.

The watch is lovely. The company answered my questions reasonably promptly and overall it was a good experience.

Since the item I purchased had not arrived even after a long time, I contacted customer service for assistance.

I was then informed that there had been a problem with the shipment and was asked whether I wanted the item to be reshipped or refunded. I promptly provided my instructions, but since then I have received no response at all.

I do not know whether the problem lies with the customer service department or with the company itself, but the way this situation has been handled is absolutely unacceptable. The level of service has been extremely poor and very disappointing.

Riley's watches are absolutely amazing, but their customer support is stellar. One of my watches was lost in shipping, and they immediately shipped a replacement - over a weekend - and made sure I received what I ordered.

The dial colors are beautifully subtle. The design is great. The case and dial finishes punch well above its price point. I will happily add this to my wrist rotation.@rileywatchco

When I first purchased my watch, I had a shipping mishap where USPS lost my package at the distribution center in my own city. I was pretty upset. I reached out to Riley about the issue and they reshipped a brand new watch to me free of charge, no questions asked. The customer service was excellent. That was almost nine months ago now. In the time since, I have put my Almond Rifleman through hell. I work in a welding and fabrication shop and am constantly exposing this watch to extreme heat, smoke, all kinds of dust, it’s been blasted with steel shavings from a grinder, I’ve left it in my back pocket and sat on it a few times, gotten it soaked in drill lubricant and even acetone, it’s been through many kinds of abuse and yet it still keeps excellent time and looks amazing. I initially wanted a good looking microbrand watch to wear out and about, but this watch quickly turned into a field watch that I wear every single day. Whether I’m at work, at home, out to dinner, or on a hike, it’s an Almond Rifleman that’s on my wrist. It is my go-to watch and I trust it to run well regardless of what I throw at it. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a good looking and reliable watch. And the fact that Riley is run by good, honest people who genuinely care about their customers is a major plus.

Great looking watch, my wife is very happy. However, the hour hand was misaligned out of the box (not lining up with hour at xx:00), and will need to have someone service it to bring them back into alignment.

Quality is otherwise great for ~ $200.

Riley watch company are a beautiful business that takes care of its customers. I had multiple problems with delivery from Royal Mail. It ended up with Leanne having to delivery to my flat personally, as I needed the watch A.S.A.P. Due to my daughter’s wedding the next day.

Honestly, one of the best watches i now own. Love the clean aesthetic, love how quickly it was shipped out, and of course the ordering process was super easy. Absolutely love the quality, I will be back for another one soon!
