I requested a "free" consultation and the relocator assisstant via whatsapp booked it for me. I had the session. Couple days later I've been asked to pay for it because apparently they gave me a legal call. The lawyer admitted it was their mistake but still insist for me to pay, instead of taking accountability and ownership for their mistake. I kindly messaged the whatsapp person and asked to please clarify the confusion that they booked me a free session and instead I was insulted and wished the worst. Unbelievable and not professional at all. Be careful if you book anything with them.

We respectfully disagree with this review, as it omits important facts and does not accurately reflect the communications exchanged.
Prior to the appointment, the client was sent written confirmation clearly stating that the meeting was a paid 35-minute legal consultation, together with the Zoom invitation and full payment instructions, including bank account details and a request for payment to be processed before the appointment. For privacy and legal reasons, we are unable to publicly disclose all communications in full, but an excerpt of the written communication sent before the appointment stated:
“As discussed on WhatsApp, the Zoom link and bank account details are as follows. Please process the payment before the appointment. It will be a 35 m appointment.”
The consultation was then conducted by a licensed attorney and lasted approximately 50 minutes. Following the consultation, payment was requested again, but was ultimately not made.
While we always strive to resolve misunderstandings professionally and amicably, it is unfair to characterize a professional legal consultation as “free” after written payment instructions had already been provided in advance.
We stand by the quality and professionalism of the services we provide and maintain detailed written records of our communications.
This is not a genuine experience, and it is very sad to see people using other services with payment, and on top of that, trying to denigrate long term established businesses.
RelocatorPortugal is absolutely the right place to turn to for assistance in moving to Portugal 🇵🇹. They take care of even the smallest details—like getting your phone and internet set up. All of the other details of our process have been handled in a highly professional and efficient manner—the visa process, securing a place to live. In spite of our missteps in the process, they maintained professionalism and swiftly responded to and rectified our mistakes. Due to their guidance, our visas were issued less than three weeks after our interviews.
