I cannot say enough wonderful things about Portugal for Living. From the very beginning, they guided and supported me through every step of my relocation to Portugal, and their help has been absolutely invaluable.

I especially want to thank Marta, Tiago, and Matilde. Together they made what could have been an overwhelming process feel organized, manageable, and surprisingly stress-free.

Together, they guided me through every aspect of my move. They helped me obtain my NIF, open my Portuguese bank account, arrange my health insurance, find and secure my apartment, coordinate live videos call with the owners, review my lease, complete my visa application, review every single document, prepare supporting letters, obtain my VFS appointment, connect me with an internet provider, and patiently answer countless questions along the way. Every detail was handled with professionalism, care, and remarkable attention.

One moment, in particular, perfectly illustrates the kind of support they provide. On the day of my VFS appointment in San Francisco, I was under an incredible amount of stress after a very difficult interaction with one of the VFS employees. I was convinced that something had gone terribly wrong. Although it was already Friday evening in Portugal—around 8 or 9 p.m.—Tiago stayed on the phone with me for hours, patiently listening, reassuring me that everything was going to be fine, and helping me regain my confidence. I'll never forget that kindness or dedication. To me, that level of care went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a relocation service.

What impressed me most was not only their knowledge and expertise, but the genuine care they showed throughout the entire journey. At no point did I feel like I was just another client. I truly felt that they cared about me and about making my relocation to Portugal a success. They were always responsive, incredibly patient, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure I understood every step and felt confident moving forward.

One of the things I'm most looking forward to when I arrive in Portugal is finally meeting Marta, Tiago, Matilde, and everyone else at Portugal for Living in person. After months of working together, answering my countless questions, and guiding me through every step of this journey, I would love the opportunity to thank them personally for everything they have done.

Portugal for Living played a key role in our relocation process. Matilde and Marta are skilled professionals with specialized knowledge of local resources and systems, especially the bureaucracy. They supported us throughout the entire process, eagerly responding to all our requests and concerns, no task being too small or large. Appreciating the culture and customs of a new country can be challenging and their advice proved to be spot on. Even now, after the main relocation issues have been concluded, they remain ready to help out if needed.
