I came to the store to return the dress…
I came to the store to return the dress I bought. The woman in the register checked the dress and asked the reason for returning the dress and told her that it didn’t seem to suit the event. To my surprise, she told me she couldn’t accept the dress since it looked like it had been worn for more hours. I told her that the only time it was worn was the moment I fitted the dress in the dressing room. I was hurt and embarrassed about how she accused me of wearing the dress for more hours. I was telling her with all honesty and she didn’t believe me. Customers saying the truth like me shouldn’t be treated that way.
With the humiliation and disappointment I felt, I would never visit the store again and would tell my friends to not buy clothes there. It was indeed an unpleasant experience.

The quality of the clothes has gone downhill. I spent over 500 online this month buying clearance items for my elderly Mother and myself. The amount of time I had to spend traveling to a physical store to return items was ridiculous. The sizing is way off. Some large items fit like a 1X and some fit like a med. I bought items that were a perfect fit with a bit of room to breathe that shrunk up significantly when washed before use. In cold water, gentle cycle and hung to dry. The jewelry is garbage. Worse than dollar store stuff. Yet it is advertised as being a high price marked down 90 percent. I was in complete shock when I opened my parcel. I ordered sunglasses that fell apart in 3 weeks. All items in clearance but not cheap.
The staff at each store I visited were amazing and helpful. BUT the products are very very poor cheap quality. I wasted so much money on trash that can not be used or used only a few times. I tried many times to post an honest review on the Reitmans website but the review was rejected. The items we kept lasted 1 wash. I consider the positive reviews, the photos, and the descriptions posted on the site to be false advertising. I bought based on the 5 star reviews only to be sold cheap garbage.

I sent a request for return 5 days ago and haven't received a response. They only asked me the reason for the return and then went silence again. It was a horrible experience. I'm unable to return the articles and still waiting for a resolution.

We had an awesome experience at the Woodbridge Reitman location. Maria and Franca were amazing, pleasant and very helpful. They both took the time to help me find a top for my daughter Chiara. They gave us many options and it made it easy for us to decide. We will be back and I will make sure to tell my family and friends. Thanks again to your staff, they where great.

I received an email from 'info @careers-reitmans.com' on January 24th, 2024 regarding scheduling an interview for the position of 'DATA ENTRY CLERK. In Reitmans Canada. Subsequently, I received an interview call on January 25th, 2024 from the mobile number +1 7058811895. Following the interview, I received an offer letter on January 26th, 2024, from the email address 'hr @career-reimans.com,' instructing me to sign the contract and return it to them. I compiled and sent the signed contract on January 29th, 2024.
Later, I received an email from the same address, 'hr@ career-reimans.com,' requesting me to proceed with my home office setup. The email instructed me to add ‘Gabrielle Desrosiers’ from the setup IT department via their company's secured staff management gateway and provided a link for further instructions: 'https://reitmanslimitedcanada .bitrix24. com/? secret=qeqb1dmk.'
On January 30th, 2024, I followed the link, created my user ID, and contacted Gabrielle Desrosiers as instructed. She requested my ID proof and bank void cheque through chat, which I provided along with email and mobile no and address details. However, when she asked me to send an email to 'techs.insights @proton.me,' I did not comply.
Subsequently, on February 1st, 2024 st night time, an unauthorized transaction of $3969.11 CAD was deducted from my account with the reference of cheque #577 from my Scotia bank account. I did not authorize this transaction and believe it to be fraudulent. I promptly reported this incident to Fort St. John British Columbia police station as well as to scotia bank. Be aware of these job scammers.

Amazing service last Friday, January 19th, from Sheila at your Shawnessy location, Had not been in Reitmans for almost two months, and as always, it was awesome to see Sheila and interact with her. She chose gorgeous sweaters asnd accessories and in my estimation, she is a credit not only to this store but also Reitman's in general. I made an order online on Sept 15, 2023. The full order amounted to $48.84. I was charged $7.95 shipping. I was short the required $49 purchase to receive free shipping. I was 16 cents short on my order to receive free shipping thinking the shipping was free. I made a call requesting a credit for the $7.95 shipping charge. I did explain that I thought it petty of the company to have charged me this. I had just made a purchase of $298.22 on Sept. 23. Because I was refused the credit I asked for I will

What I don't understand is Reitman Hyba urban capris you have now made them with two slit pockets with a zipper pocket so when you sit down they bulge out that's a fail. You had really nice Hyba urban straight leg pants and decided to stop making them and went with slim leg and that's a fail. Stop making FAILS and leave the capris alone people loved them the way they were . I used to spend a lot of money now I don't ,stop changing the hyba . They use to be the best now they are really cheap looking.

Visited 1 of their stores in Montreal (Carrefour Angrignon) and this nice sales associate assisted me in ordering the dress ,with Free home delivery, as I needed a # size not available in store..no fuss..friendly service..great price compared to other stores..parcel/dress was delivered Free..' Pronto '= quick..2 days after not counting Sunday...fits great..I've been a customer with Reitmans since the mid 80's= almost 40 years ..miss their cute "ensemble " : skirt& top..please bring it back..

If I could rate zero
If I could rate zero, I would. I went to Reitmans in the mayflower mall, Sydney NS. There were 4 staff who did not greet me coming into an empty store. No one explained the sale, they completely ignored me. I tried a couple of items on by helping myself to the change room and decided on a t shirt. I went to the cash and was told( not too politely) that I had to buy 2. When I told the girl they only had one in my size, she just shrugged her shoulders and I left. The whole experience was miserable. It’s also interesting that I could buy that same product online as a single item. Worst service in the entire mall

Customer Service email representative just stopped responding. Told me to go in store and in store told me to email. A week later they sent a follow up email asking how I rate their resolution and if they don't hear from me the case will automatically be closed. They didn't resolve anything! And they didn't respond to that email either... HORRIBLE customer service. I've never experienced such a lack of care from a company before
The company has cheap out of date…
The company has cheap out of date clothes they try to pass off as cool. Smart Set closed for a reason. They act size inclusive but wanted us to look like Victoria Secret models. I was in my early 20s working at Reitmans and we were all encouraged to wear tight black dresses in hopes our bodies would distract the ceo from the things he didn’t like from the store. They tried to make us run all over the place at a break neck speed. Wanting us to do the job of 10 ppl so they can cut staff and not pay more wages. Back in 20 12 They bullied us about hair and make up. Working with dsm Pam r was horrible. She was a bully. It was a culture of bullies. They made us temp managers but never paid us fairly.

I'm not impressed with their return policy when shopping online. They refuse to refund jewelry bought online, due to "sanitary reasons" - which is total BS. What kind of sanitary condition do you think one has, that you can't return an unworn cheap plastic necklace? and why is it so hard to exhibit this policy DURING CHECKOUT process? Instead, I have to investigate and find it on my own on their website. The quality of their clothes has decreased as well during the years, so I am personally not going to shop there anymore and I wish them a lovely bankruptcy. There is a reason why they had been struggling for years.
Extremely poor customer service

My wife and I went into the woodstock location(no suprise) while being the only two people in store after 5 pm . To be expressly ignored ,we roamed around the store untill we were withn 5ft of both employees for not even an acknowlegement(both employees were not busy) .My only wish was that I had been a mystery shopper to have them understand that when conducting business , the only colour that matters should be green(money). This reflects very poor training on management .While we may not fit the intended demographic of this brand it certainly didn't present any kind of incentive as a young millenial to ever return .

Horrible customer service. I was told by the store staff and customer service I could return an item. When I go in I’m told cannot. I made a special trip to the mall.
