Buyer beware - if you are ordering online, the item you receive may NOT be what was described. Ordered a pair of shorts, stated that item had FOUR functional pockets, thus my reason for ordering them. Product arrived with only TWO front slat pockets and NO back pockets. One cannot trust the written description.

Poor. Ordered online product. Order was cancelled by reitmans. 6 weeks later still no refund. Contacted them numerous times by email and by phone and they told me it was being processed. Never happened.

Staff don't know how to talk even their body language is like that why they are serving to clients. Suspected I was a thief!
I had just tried on a grey blazer in a fitting room and I went back the floor looking for a sweater to go with it. The clerk was serving a lady at the register and left the lady and came and asked me "is that your jacket?" I said "no it's yours, why?" Hesitating she said "Oh! we think it looks good" and went back to serve the lady. It's Jan 31st I was wearing black jeans and their jacket. My purse and my Winter coat were still in the fitting room. Why would she think that I was trying to steal the blazer? I felt offended that she would insinuate that I was stealing the blazer without observing that I didn't have my purse nor my Winter coat with me. I did buy the jacket and ordered and paid for a stripe sweater. The store was not busy at the time, she had all the time needed to follow me and make sure I was not stealing it. Don't Waste Your Time or Money
I was a Reitmans fan for several years. I had a T-Shirt I loved, and when years later, I saw the same T-shirt available (online) in another colour, I got it happily. It fit perfectly (just like the old one). I cut off the tags, washed it in cold water, and flat dried it. When it was dry, I found that it had shrunk at least one size LENGTHWISE. The shoulders fit the same, but it was now about 2 inches too short. I wrote a detailed email to Reitmans (compete with pictures, comparing the new T-shirt with the new, to show how it had shrunk). The reply I received asked me to write all the details again. I did. I waited. Some time later, I got a reply saying that they needed to see the tags. I then wrote every detail again, including why the tags were cut off. I waited. I got another reply saying that they considered the material to be defective, and that I should send the item back (out of pocket, no shipping label), and that *if it had the tags*, I would be reimbursed. I wrote again: No Tags. Here's why. (Again.) I got a reply on January 3, 2025 that if I send the item back BY DECEMBER 14, 2024, I would be reimbursed for the defective item. The experience was sickening, grotesque, and I will never shop at Reitmans again. I only gave my review 1 star so that others may be warned about the quality control and so-called Customer Service at the store. Go elsewhere if you want a good experience, and don't waste your time or money.

Première expérience très décevante. Je suis allée au Reitmans de Duplessis cette semaine pour acheter un pantalon chic pour le temps des Fêtes et personne n’a pris la peine de répondre à mes questions. Je suis repartie les mains vides. C’était ma première et dernière visite à ce Reitmans.
What the hell is happening at Reitmans??
My brother bought a gift for me through the Reitmans website. Unbelievably, this item was not sold by Reitmans. It appeared to be sold by Reitmans, the receipt came from Reitmans and I even got Reitmans “bucks” (whatever that is). But when I tried to return it, I was told I’d have to return it to some mysterious independent vendor. I was given a plastic bag and told to find a the vendor and mail it back at my own expense.
Having been a Reitmans customer for decades, I can’t begin to explain what disappointing experience this has been.
Reitmans has chosen to be deceptive and has shown complete disregard for its customers. Even a 40 minute conversation with “customer service” failed to convince the agent that as the customer, I should not be asked to “find the vendor and mail the merchandise at my own expense”. It’s an outrage.
But, the greater lesson is for Reitmans to learn. This practice will alienate loyal customers, who will, like me, never set foot in a Reitmans again.

My recent visit was nothing short of amazing. I was looking for a few essentials to refresh my wardrobe, and I was thrilled with the variety available. The store had everything from trendy basics to standout statement pieces. I was especially impressed with the attention to detail in the clothing. The stitching and finishing were impeccable! The staff was also incredibly friendly, offering suggestions that helped me put together some fabulous outfits.

The clothes look pretty good on the online page, even in store, but when you take a close look, it’s so cheaply made it’s pathetic. I had pants the the in seam were in the middle of the leg, tops that were poorly sewed ect. You name it I had it. Washed a pair of pants, they shrunk ! Couldn’t wear the any more. I would never buy from reitmans again, and the price they charge for this garbage it ridiculous. Slave Labour, and cheaply made ! 😡😡

I like their clothes but their website is actually the slowest one in existence. Its sooooooo frustrating! And if crashes every time I click on my wishlist and I reached out for help and they were like *shrug*
TERRIBLE SERVICE
I went to pay for the tops i had picked out and the lady in front of me had some merchandise on the counter and she was on the phone talking about what else to buy, meanwhile the cashier is letting the lineup build up behind me. Then the customer told the cashier she was going to get something else and left her things on the counter. The cashier ignored us customers standing in line. I asked her if she could get someone else to come up to process my purchases. She said no, everybody is busy. Meanwhile I'm standing waiting on this woman to come back and finish her purchase. I was furious and came close to leaving without buying anything. I asked the cashier again if someone else could come up and help out since she was holding up me and others while the woman was still browsing. This cashier obviously doesn't know that you can't keep customers standing in line while she's allowing this woman to go shopping. Never seen this before, totally disgusted and not in a hurry to return.

I had lost the receipt for my purchase, so was offered a gift card for the original purchase price. When I attempted to pay for my next purchase with the gift card, it was not accepted. 😖. Not online or in the store!
I have made many telephone calls and sent several email messages. We are now over two weeks into this process and I am still holding a useless gift card with a credit balance of $78.29. Very unhappy!

hyba capris fail
Reitman's has ruined the Hyba Capris ,there is no zipper pockets and now have slit pockets. So every time you sit down you lose what's in the pockets. The material is thinner . What a shame they have decided to change the hyba capris ,I use to buy 2 pair at a time now I wont buy any. If I could have given this review a zero I would have. please make this better.

Bonjour, je suis une cliente régulière du magasin de Cowansville. Depuis quelques temps je ne sais pas ce qui se passe dans ce magasin. Jamais les mêmes employées. Ce matin je suis allé magasiner. La dame qui m’a servie avait l’air dépassé. Je suis allé aux cabines d’essayage. Je pouvais entendre la vendeuse parler ouvertement en mal de sa collègue. Ce n’est la première fois que ça m’arrive. Quand nous allons magasiner, nous n’avons pas à entendre des conversations qui devraient être privées. Je m’ennuie du temps où les vendeuses étaient là pour donner du service aux clients et non pas à ce plaindre devant celle-ci. Les temps changent souvent malheureusement.

I ordered a number of items. One of these being from their affiliate company?
Even though everything falls under Reitmans and was captured through the same website, order, etc.
I tried to return this item but have gotten no where.
The store front refuses to accept responsibility saying that it’s a sister company, but they don’t accept or handle returns. I did contact the website which again is on the Reitmans page but it isn’t Reitmans according to them.
I sent emails and received 3 replies over weeks saying my request for refund was received and not to resubmit. Now this week I received another email saying that the request is closed! No opportunity to send a reply email or speak to a real person.

Placed an order last week for in store pick up. Never heard from them until today. Got notified that my order got cancelled because I did not pick it up!!! Tried to talk to customer service, girl said "we can't do anything about it" and hung up!! Will never shop there again. Disgraceful!

Urban capris use to have a zipper pocket ,NOW they have a slit pocket and when you sit down ,your keys,wallet ect fall out. What a shame please make them with a zipper pocket again.Why Reitmans did you destroy the capri ? I usually buy 3 pair now I have to shop some where else. Fail
