I wont lie, I used this app to get me out of a hole but honestly, its now part of my daily routine for accounting. It's intuitive, thorough and user friendly.
We will be setting this up for our second business in the near future. The Xero integration works seamlessly and for a business such as ours with many VAT rates and lines to add its a godsend. Well worth the money !

As a small accountancy practice, we regularly use Receipt Bot for converting bank statements. It is way cheaper than any of the alternatives and in our experience 100% accurate. I would highly recommend this software.

How is Receipt Bot still under the radar?

Having tried a range of OCR software, some of them can only work in perfect environments and can't handle a little writing on bank statements, yet clients often tick or annotate statements, however Receipt Bot takes everything that we throw at it and I haven't had any issues at all.

Till receipts, hand written receipts, annotated bank statements, credit card statements, all handled no problem. Better yet it's the best value for money that I've seen as of yet and the team are very helpful.

I've also seen Receipt Bot recommended a number of times on Accounting Web and it's no wonder why.

This is a different kind of company. Different kind of technology. And different kind of people. I would given them 10-stars if I could.

Faced with the prospect of digitizing 1000+ pages of historical bank statements from an obscure credit union, I had tried every possible software product and service - and met with frustration and disappointment. They were not much more than OCR tools. They could recognize text on the paper. But did not understand the semantics of it. The archaic and one-of-a-kind statement format of this credit union didn't help.

This was, until I met receipt-bot. I was super skeptical of their 99.9% accuracy claim. "Ya right" I said. Here is to nothing. And I uploaded one year's worth of statements. Imagine my surprise, when a few hours later, the bot had produced perfectly accurate CSVs out of them!

They are based out of the UK, and yet, they were responding to my online-chat on US Pacific time - midday. Highly responsive. Heard what I needed - which wasnt what they would normally do. But they modified their processing to accommodate! 6 hours later I had all 1000+ pages digitized to CSVs.

Zero errors. None whatsover! In the format I needed. They even helped me out with MS Excel tech support! I estimate, it saved me roughly 7500 minutes of grunt work.

Incredible system and amazing service to match. Saved me days of a seemingly impossible task. Highly recommended.

I have used this automated data entry. Its nice but still need some improvements.

Now data processing is very easy with receipt bot.
