❌❌❌Urgent Warning: Arrogant evasion of responsibility and zero customer service❌❌❌
I strongly warn anyone against shopping at Rare Vintage And More. My recent experience has been completely unacceptable and serves as a textbook example of how a business should never treat its customers.
I purchased items for a significant amount, but the shipment never arrived at my door, even though the courier mistakenly scanned it as "delivered." When I contacted the seller to initiate a formal investigation with the shipping company—an action that only the sender has the authority to take—I was met with appalling arrogance.
The seller deliberately exploited the fact that I had entered my building's door code into the courier's app (an absolute necessity just so the driver could enter the stairwell). Absurdly, the seller argued that this constituted a binding "delivery instruction" that automatically absolved him of any liability for the lost package.
This is not only deeply disrespectful but also demonstrates a willful ignorance of EU consumer law. The law unequivocally dictates that the seller bears the full risk for the shipment until the goods are in the physical possession of the buyer. Providing a door access code is exactly that—access information—and in no way constitutes a waiver of liability or permission to leave a package unattended.
Instead of acting professionally and resolving the issue, the seller completely washed his hands of the situation and flatly refused to issue a refund. I have now been forced to involve a third-party buyer protection service just to get my money back.
If you are considering buying from this shop: Do yourself a favor and find another retailer. The second your order leaves their hands, you are completely on your own if anything goes wrong.
AUF DEUTSCH:
Ich möchte jeden eindringlich davor warnen, bei Rare Vintage And More einzukaufen.
