Twelve months and still happy (ish)
I have used this meal service for almost a year now, and would rate it "the best of a bad bunch", as I have tried others in the past.
It is convenient but it is expensive. I have made the same meals, buying my own ingredients with a 25% to 50% savings, but it is the convenience you are paying for.
Their customer service is brilliant. I reported a missing ingredient (it was the protein) and they had it uber-delivered by 4pm that day. Other times when the greens were not fit to eat after being in the fridge for 3 days, they refunded the entire meal cost.
I have cancelled quite a few weeks (sometimes as I was on holidays and other times as the selections was too boring to consider) without it reflecting on my standing with them (no penalty clauses).
The food is healthy, well portioned and the recipes are 90% error free (sometimes they mention an ingredient which is not supplied or listed!) and they have a mechanism for you to report menu errors.
I will continue to keep using them, will keep complaining about their over-reliance on mince based dishes, and keep muttering and not ordering their Asian dishes which, with an Asian grocery around the corner, I can cook for 1/2 the price :)

We completely understand your points around cost, it’s true that the convenience is a big part of what meal kits offer, but we also want you to always feel you’re getting good value from the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Your feedback on variety, especially the reliance on mince-based dishes and the appeal of Asian recipes, is really helpful for our culinary team.
It’s also great to know you’ve appreciated the flexibility of being able to skip weeks without penalty, and that overall you’re finding the meals healthy, well portioned and mostly error free. We’ll keep working hard to iron out the recipe glitches and keep lifting the bar on variety.
We’re grateful to have you with us after almost a year, and we’ll take your feedback on board to keep improving the experience.
Quality produce
We are enjoying the quality and freshness of the ingredients as well as the variety of recipes. Such a bonus to have everything we need ready to go for at least a few meals of the week.

Would be 5 stars but shelf life/packaging of produce and delivery need improvements
Pros:
The recipes are great and there is a good variety.
I prefer the recipes in comparison to Hello Fresh and Marley Spoon.
There is a good amount of choice (though less than competitors) and the recent update to add an extra move is good. Not having half the meals cost extra is appreciated.
Cons:
If the meals aren't used within 4 or 5 days the ingredients are out of date. The meat has a very short shelf life compared to both Marley Spoon and Hello Fresh.
The "vacuumed" packaging has regularly failed, resulting in smelly off chicken within a day a two.
Delivery drivers are terrible - I have a large porch and they leave the box blocking the front door, or in the sun, or in the middle of the driveway and sometimes next to our rubbish bin.
Overall - if the produce had a longer shelf life and delivery drivers took more care I would rate 5 stars.

We’re very sorry to hear about the issues you’ve had with shelf life, packaging, and deliveries. Our ingredients should last the week when stored correctly, so it’s concerning to hear that hasn’t been the case for you. Packaging failures with proteins are also not acceptable, and we’ll be raising this with our suppliers to make sure it’s addressed.
We also know how important delivery is to the overall experience, and leaving boxes in unsuitable spots is not okay. We’ll pass this straight to our logistics partners for review. your feedback helps us push for better care in handling deliveries.
Thank you again for the honesty, we’ll use this feedback to keep improving, and we’d love the chance to win back that fourth and fifth star from you.

Quitelike is the best meal kit we've ever tried. Fresh meat and produce and actual chef quality recipes, with great service. No having to pay extra to get anything besides chicken. Love quitelike. Only criticism is they need more lower calorie options

We have tried a range of meal services over the years and Quitelike is definitely the standout. Great recipes, plenty of variety and the ingredients are always fresh and local. 3 meals a week and we still love it.

Really easy having everything delivered! Sometimes the recipes aren't very straightforward and can be difficult to follow the steps. It's would be great if each section used bullet points yesterday than long text. Sometimes not all the ingredients are in the bag for the week. But the quiet and recipes are really delicious. Much better than cheaper services

Overall i am really happy with Quitelike we love the meals. They are by far the best meal kit available in melbourne. I love the convienience, the recipes and the quality of products and produce provided.
We have had a few issues with missing items but Quitelike have always responded quickly to any problem.

I love QuiteLike, the variety each week makes it hard to reorder my favourites because there are always new recipes to try. Their communication is good and I like their website. Have absolutely loved the variety of meals and the quality of the ingredients has been great. The serving size is generous and easily feeds a couple and often some leftovers for a lunch. The menus are pretty easy to follow and the prep times are pretty accurate. The hardest part is choosing which meals as there’s so many good choices.
