I applied online and was connected to rocket mortgage employee. My retirement account is fairly new option structured.( under 55 rule) . I was assured that they had previously worked with these accounts by her conversion with me. After being charged $100 for credit check, which is 832. I was told they were not sure how to move forward with a retirement account structured like mine. We have well above average income but they were not familiar with the (new) rule for retirement accounts. I sent in all necessary paperwork and was strung along for 2 weeks before I finally just had an honest conversation with another person. I feel this was predatory on their part. They understood the account when we were in pre application mode, then it was we just don’t know enough about these types of accounts.

The loan representative has been very kind and helpful throughout this entire process. I felt like he took a personal interest in our situation.
Things moved along very quickly.

The only downside is that some of the timelines felt pushy and left little wiggle room.

Applied for loan, had provided info to title company and everything was set to go and suddenly processing was stopped and the app was shut down without any notification as to why. Worse experience I have ever encountered

Representative found out i wanted a personal or home equity loan instead of refi, and said someone would contact me about those type of loans. That was the last I heard from Quicken Compare.

We started and finished the process the same day. The appraisal was done the next day, and we closed in record time. What's not to like?! Very Professional!

They say it is a simple process and they have the customer in mind. But is one thing after another.
I regret going to them and if it was up to me I would go else were but my wife does not agree and will do back flips if they ask.

Says that I can get a loan up to 50K even with bad credit. I can not find a loan for that amount and I have 720 credit score across all 3 reporting reports.

They show helo loans like $25,000 @ $151/mo at 7.24%. Then when you fill out the questionnaire you are attacked by dozens of phone calls and emails, none of which offer that loan. They all want you to do a cash out refi. It's just like a bate and switch game.

THE LOAN COMPANY AND THE LOAN ITSELF WAS EQUAL TO DEALING WITH A LOAN SHARK.
