Boots pharmacy retail park Inverness A96 is got to be one of the worst pharmacies I have ever come across. Poor communication, very rude staff, talking of staff, when you get about 5 of them on at anytime they ignore the phone and it makes me mad! Text alert for when medication is due is just ridiculous I've never had a text yet to say a prescription is ready. Half the staff running around not even knowing what their job is meant to be. Get a grip eh

I walk past my local Boots daily. The medicine dispensing was pretty good after moving from Jardines. So I thought it might be a good idea to take my flu jab at Boots instead of at my GP surgery. Three messages over three days before the appointment date. So good so far. Visited the Boots today to take my jab. The booking in was via a QR code answering questionnaire, The dispensing staff was late and slow. Long queue of customers waiting. Another staff came, checking off names and time appointments from a list but somehow didn't communicate with the stafff dishing out the jabs. Someone with a much earlier appointment was left waiting. Someone with a later appointment time went in before me. The staff with the clipboard told me to tell the jab member of staff of my appointment time. Boots knew and therefore she must know. He knew but he didn't communicate with her. What a shambles. I left, cancelling my appointment and have booked my jab with my GP surgery. The one star is for the Flu jab booking.

My Drs sent an urgent prescription over to Boots,Retail Park,Knaresborough for collection tea time on 4.6.25
I knew it was there to be dispensed but could only get afternoon of the 5th.
Saw desk area in Boots and said I had come to collect an urgent prescription that had been issued night before during working hours.
Desk person said it would not be ready till later in the day.
I explained it had been sent urgent the night before but was told they had not received it till today which was a lie.
Told to come back later but insisted I was there to collect now.
This Boots and the one in Knaresborough are the same,they get prescriptions through direct from the Drs and instead of dispensing within a couple of hours they always say to come back a day later as the prescription won’t be ready when in fact they have it and it needing to be finalised.
Snail pace dispensing and very unhelpful especially with urgent medication.
Last time I’ll use them.

One of the screws on my sunglasses was missing and I tried two other glasses shops who couldn’t help me, my last chance was Boots in Wimborne and a lovely lady called Lynne took them, replaced the missing screw, checked the other one and cleaned my glasses. She was perfect in every way. Thank you Lynne. When I need new glasses I will definitely go to Boots Opticians in Wimborne 😊

I visited the store due to health concern I had, the staff who u approached was a young man, sorry i didn’t get your name. I do think he may be the manager, he was very polite, helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. Brilliant member of your team.
I asked to see pharmacist and I was seen promptly by Jo, she was amazing at her job, I was given really good advice, and medication which as worked brilliantly. This lady I have had the pleasure in dealing with her, on a few occasions and every time I see her, I am met with a very polite, lovely and very intelligent lady, she is just brilliant. Thank you, Jo💕

Was only in boots in carlow 1 time when it opened , could never return because I thought the staff were oh how would you put it stand offish . Nooo not for me and that securty gard like following you around ,eh lad if I go into a chemist it's to buy something , not to be stalked

No wonder so many boots are closing down

If you love queuing for medication Boots is the place to go. You may die before you get to the front.

DISGUSTING, UNACCEPTABLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Doubled my prescription price, terrible customer service. I had used Lloyds chemist in Wicklow town for years and they were fantastic to deal with, unfortunately they closed down. I had rang boots and asked before getting my prescription sent to them will they charge 1 dispensing fee for 6 months prescription as Lloyds had done for years and they told me yes no problem. So on the 11th of April 2023 I had gone into Boots Wicklow town and paid €53.50 which was about €6.00 more than Lloyd but I understood prices have increased. Today I went to pick up the same prescription as was charged €133.50. This is more than double my last 6 months prescription 😡 the pharmacist Marta came down to explain the invoice to me and was rude, ignorant and would not listen to my point of you at all with absolutely no apology. Who trains your staff ? I was basically told I was just another customer they could do without. Not I’m sorry we made a mistake last time. Or I’m sorry we should have contacted you to explain our pricing procedure before I arrived to collect my prescription. DISGUSTING, UNACCEPTABLE

Travelling to Africa for a holiday I needed advice on which anti- malarial tablets to take. My practice nurse referred me to Boots in Rye. I went in and saw the pharmacist. She took me into a private consultation room, took my details then asked which countries I was visiting and confirmed that I needed anti-malarial. She then took my medical details. All of this was loaded into a computer program which came up with a an anti-malarial that was compatible with my medication. A prescription was issued and the tablets dispensed. Total cost £26. What a bargain. Fantastic, professional service. Would recommend to anyone requiring medical advice.

Visited boots chemist in Somerton, somerset. Told on tuesday, prescription ready on wednesday. Returned thursday told medication instore, ready friday 09:00hrs. Returned 2m friday, has to wait 1 hour 5 minutes for mediation, only to be told heart medication not available. With chest pains, told to come back in 4 days when it would be ready. Last moth i had a weeks wait for meds. what a bunch of liars and incompetent people. Be warned the queue for medication is normally longer than the queue for normal service in Somerton.

Was told to wait and I would be dealt with after I announced I had arrived for a booked flu jab. After 20 minutes I heard the same girl at the pharmacy counter tell someone else that there were no flu jabs being done as vaccine ran out.
