Weak quality control
Pronto were the approved repair centre chosen by my insurer for accident repairs. I'm not sure why as the service was not up to standard. For a relatively minor front wing repair and restoration it took Pronto 3 weeks initially. On collection the workmanship was unacceptable so I refused to sign off the repair. It took another 10 days and the intervention of my insurers to get the remedial work done. On second collection, I noticed that the paint had not been finished properly with raised spots and small bubbles still visible. This time the paintwork was flatted and polished on the spot as I waited. It would appear that quality control is not a strong point for Pronto. Most annoying was that the quality control checklist had been ticked off completely (including paintwork quality), ready for me to sign. The properly finished work was more than acceptable. Just a shame that Pronto can't get it right first time and in good time.

Used Pronto before and the service was excellent, now its appalling!!!
Dispite not being one of the approved repair shops by Kitsune insurance they agreed for Pronto to do the work on my car. My previous posative experience took me back to them, BIG MISTAKE.
March an estimate was done on my car, and although my insurers agreed to use pronto I could never get hold of them for updates.
Everything it seems what they said didn't add up with the insurers.
One staff member said he'd been copied into an email and my car was to be booked in for repair, the other said they'd heard nothing, lie upon lie it seems.
Kitsune then informs me Prontos
estimate was way to high leaving me to pay a £1000 towards cost.
My insurers have now cancelled the repair job with Pronto and it's going to another repair shop.
Wasted six months trying to get my car repaired!!!

Hopefully going on here I might be able to receive and answer as after a week and sending an email to the head office in Peterborough they don't reply and seemingly only reply on here, so had a small accident in my car as its on the motorbility scheme pronto is the preferred repairer, great its local and just round the corner, the accident was in December 2021, took photos as requested and sent them the pronto, car was booked in for Jan 2022 only for this to be cancelled, rearranged the car again cancelled the car has been cancelled 6 times, it got to July 2022 phone goes pronto say they have the part so at this point I'm not sure if there book of BS excuses had run out or the charity bike ride to collect the part finished, booked in for 10th Aug 2022 car goes in and it's been fixed within a day which was a shock lads drove it back, then after they had gone opened the car to find dirty footprints all over the chairs and floor, not sure if they had a disco in the car or maybe it was the weekly workout club, anyway took photos sent them in email to have no answer, not sure how the footprints where in car when fixing a bumper, now I'm waiting for the excuse that the part had to come from France, try going to Swindons Peugeot distribution centre, please if you answer give me the crap you where waiting for the part to arrive from France. I really wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, the lack of communication is beyond bad.
Excellent and friendly service
Have just received my car back from Pronto and very happy with the service. The damage to the side of the car was quite bad but it’s like it never happened! An excellent job. Service was friendly and really helpful and managed to get my car back to me a little earlier than expected which was great. I spoke with Jay on collection who was really helpful and friendly. Would definitely use again.

Kings Lynn Branch - Shocking Service
Kings Lynn Branch, On the 19th of July they were advised of a claim. My car was going to them for repair. Photos were uploaded as requested, I had a quick conversation with them and they informed me that the process of sending the photos back to the insurance company, plus response from them could be two weeks, really!!!! since then I have heard nothing, I have called, no one picks up, emailed, no response. In the end I have decided to get the job done myself as I cant be bothered for these unprofessional cowboys to respond. It dosent take much to update a customer on what is going on, Think I might change my insurance company just so that I dont have to use this company again.
Poor communication
I visited the Bourne branch on Monday morning for a quote to repair minor accident damage . The guy told me he would email me a quote that afternoon , this didn’t happen. I phoned on the Wednesday but no answer so I emailed for a response .
Left it until 3pm and called again no reply but did get a call
Back . The guy who called apologised and said there was no response as a trainee had dealt with me Monday and that it was his fault
I explained that I had called 4 times and got no response plus I had no response to my email . He explained that he didn’t want to get into an argument and as a business they were not taking on retail work just insurance . I said I should have been made aware of this from the start or by telephone or email again he blamed the trainee . Surely someone should be overseeing the trainee . On reflection I wouldn’t want my car repaired by them with customer service this bad . A business is built on good customer service , something this business hasn’t got .

Absolutely disgusted that the…Nottingham centre has had my car for six months
Absolutely disgusted that the Nottingham centre has had my car for six months and still not repaired. They have left a disabled man without his vehicle and do not care. When we try and ring they are dismissive and continuously say they will ring back and never do, when this week I went to the workshop they have now said when they have taken the bumper off they did not realise there was more damage and they are now waiting for further parts, another six months I would think. I have had to renew my insurance and tax for a vehicle that I have not had for six months , the car now has no MOT either!! The car has not been ran and so the battery will also be damaged and probably need replacing their response - we will charge it for you!! Bad service from people that do not care and have no idea about customer service. I rely on my car to get about on a daily basis.

Top Quality repair to my T5 campervan
Top Quality repair to my T5 campervan. Did a fantastic job of the side of the van where I damaged the side of the van on a post. Very professional attitude and brilliant bodywork and paint job. Would definitely recommend and use again if required.

Excellent!
My car was repaired here through my insurance after somebody damaged my car. I had extremely helpful, informative and polite help from start to finish. I expected a much longer wait but my car was fixed quickly and when I got it back it looked better than I could have expected. Rob was so helpful, friendly and honest and made me feel at ease. Really, really happy!

Poor communication
Unfortunately, a generally poor experience. Granted I have yet to get my car back after it's repair and so my rating may change. The issues starting at the beginning with having my car collected. There were communication problems with if I have completed an online form. I finally took my car to Pronto yet still had queries about completing the online form. After finally getting my car picked up the date changed three times. Once causing me to have to cancel a holiday. No communication with me after working on my car. We I expressly asked to have any communication via email. I was called both at home and on my mobile and at home. I just hope they can bring back my car without too many issues.

An amendment to my previous review - still really poor.
Having received my car, I have had the opportunity to consider my previous poor review and amend it based on the quality of work completed - as suggested at the time by the Pronto Management Team.
Unfortunately, the lining installed with the new tailgate has become detached and the fixing insert appears to be broken. I assume that this is a Pronto Accident Centre workmanship issue, and not one common to cars assembled in the factory or repaired elsewhere.
It has been about two weeks since I contacted Pronto Accident Centre Norwich, but have heard nothing in response.
Having waited more than 18 weeks previously for the repair to complete I find myself once again waiting for somebody to contact me.
Although I don’t expect that this will happen in the near future (despite the reassuring words that will probably follow this review), I hope that Pronto decide rectify this issue promptly, so I am able to provide a more favourable review.

First class service from all the staff . Got my repairs done very quickly as I did not need a courtesy car . I killed Bambi in the wilds of Norfolk , it made a mess of the front of my Kuga . Well done Pronto with a special thanks to Rob.

You do not have to take your vehicle to…
You do not have to take your vehicle to ‘Insurance Approved’ bodyshops period.
My advice, is don’t.
You would better off finding an independent, who does the job right the first time, that you don’t have to keep ringing them for an update.
Pronto need to change their name as they are anything but and do not be ‘Dazzled’ by their web site self plaudits, they mean nothing.
TBH it is embarrasing to read
Pronto are aware of the finer details behind the reason for this post but for me, I will never ever use insurance approved bodyshops again(I hope that I don’t have to)

Would have been 5 stars but the whole…
Would have been 5 stars but the whole process was quite slow to start with (i.e. getting the work quoted to the insurance company, getting that approved and then getting the car in). Once it was actually on site though, the whole thing moved much quicker. I received a phone call giving me an update when the car was nearing the spraying stage and it was ready to collect a few days later. The work was first class and the car was presented back in a very clean and tidy condition. The courtesy car had only done a few thousand miles and was of a good standard. Very happy with Pronto. ps. Staff were very polite and pleasant too. 😊

Disappointing
Initially, my insurance company said that Pronto would contact me, after waiting two days I called them. I was told there were no courtesy cars & would be called when one became available. Three weeks later I was told one would be available in another three weeks. To assist staff, I offered to deliver my car to site. An hour before I was leaving home on designated date, I had a call saying there was no courtesy car available! Obviously I needed to get back home so I did not deliver my car. No forecast of when one would be available at that time. Six weeks had passed since my first contact with Pronto. I do have a second classic car & said reluctantly would forego the courtesy car if that would help. They would ring back that day. Having heard nothing by late afternoon, my insurance company intervened and the car was picked up next day. Finally after another three weeks, the car was finished, although I had to ring to find out how things were going. The end result is excellent & I am very pleased. During all this period I found the phone was mainly unanswered, just kept ringing. I found that the best time to speak to anyone was first thing in the morning or late afternoon. Suggest a messaging service be added to the phone system. At all times the staff were polite and courteous. The work deserved a 5* rating but with what transpired before, sorry, t has to be 4*.

Rob and his team were fantastic with their communication, had my Tesla booked in for a warranty paint correction and they did a fantastic job and I can see why they’re called Pronto !! Dan in reception said they’d need it a week or so(no problem) but I literally got a call the next day ! All done 🤩 Thanks guys … Grand Job !!

Bourne branch Joseph couldn't have been any more helpful. He arranged a similar size car for me and delivered to my door, finding &pointing out damage I'd not even noticed but was there.
When it was time to swop cars we did a contactless one due to covid and again he was very pleasant and helpful.
Damage repaired, can't see a mark.
