Really positive experience with Pronto
This was a nominated repair shop through my insurance and was very happy with the communication from day 1. Understandably there are pressures on supplying courtesy cars but Pronto worked hard to get me one to ensure I could work. I had regular updates on the progress of the work and how parts were being ordered which was appreciated. The repair work looks fantastic, spot on color match on the bumper to the rest of the car, and even a full valet service. I felt like the car was really taken care of. Thanks so much to the team for a quick turn around and keeping me informed every step of the way.

I just wish over the period the communication had been better as it made the experience unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant.
My company car has been with Pronto Nottingham for nearly 9 weeks after an allocated repair via Davies Group insurance.
From the collection, on the 23rd of February to today 25th of April i have had zero updates apart from one text message 3 weeks after collection to say my car was with the "strip team, and updates will follow as the repair progresses."
Since then I have attempted a weekly call for an update. On the occasions I've been able to get through, I've been told they are unable to give an update due to an unprecedented workload, and on one occasion, when commenting on the length of time and lack of communication, heard the immortal words "it is was it is."
Out of desperation, today I've asked my insurers to step in to see if they are able to get me an update. They came back to me, and have been told that additional damage was found to the vehicle, parts have been ordered but they have no time frame on the parts.
It's only fair to say they have provided a courtesy car during this time and I've experienced very little hardship as I'm able to partially do my job.
However, I travel a lot for work, and had I known it would have taken this long I would have made prior arrangements.
It feels a little unfair to leave a review when the work hasn't yet been carried out, but to see another new review here with a longer waiting time is alarming.
I'll update when the work is carried out.

My car has been with this company since the1st December, the service and customer support has been very poor.
The car is still with them; even after I have spoken direct to Volvo customer services who have said that if I could get the part number, order number and Volvo dealership that they have ordered the part we are waiting for, Volvo offered to then provide a more accurate delivery or update but Pronto would not even release this information to my insurance company.
I would seriously consider sending any vehicle here to be repaired. The staff and customer support is awful.

I had to use the service due to my going through my insurance after an incident. I had never heard of the business before hand despite it being local. My accident was 7 weeks ago. It took pronto 4 days to collect the damaged vehicle. After this my insurance company was told by pronto it would take just over 2 weeks for the work to be completed. I had to contact my insurance company to find this information out as pronto hadn’t even contacted me to say it could be fixed let alone any completion date. On the expected completed date I called them and they said it hadn’t been painted yet, but they didn’t get in contact with me to inform me of this and then blamed the insurance company for giving a false date. They added a further 7 days for it to be completed. By what should have been the next completion date I called them asking when I can collect and again they told me it still needed to be painted, and that they were short staffed. I appreciate this was probably a genuine issue but again they’re was so no contact made to give any kind of updates.
For reference my accident was on the 7th of February, this was now the 7th of March. They told me to call back in another 7 days when it will be done. Fast forward to the 14th of March I call and to no surprise it wasn’t ready. This time I was told their oven was not working so the paintwork couldn’t be dried. By this point I was starting to get frustrated as they had had my car 5 weeks and I had been told it would have been completed on 3 different occasions. I called them on the 18th of March as I wanted an update, and I was told it would be done by Wednesday the 23rd and that someone would call me on the Monday to confirm this. No one did, so I called on Tuesday (22nd) where someone told me it will be ready to collect Wednesday at 4pm. So I contacted my hire car company and arranged for them to collect my hire car from Pronto at 4pm. Good job I arrived early as to no surprise Pronto informed my car wasn’t ready and I will have to go back and collect the following day. In the time at the garage explaining what’s happened I keep being asked who did you speak to, however no one gives their name over the phone, there is such a huge lack of communication in the office and everyone seems to blame each other and no one has taken any ownership. I took the afternoon off work, refuelled the hire car back to how it was when I got it as requested by the company all for me to have to turn around and go back home in it, and have to call the hire company and explain I still need the hire care despite them coming to collect it within the next 10 minutes. When I called the following day to make sure it was ready someone told me it would definitely be ready on the Thursday afternoon and someone would call me. It got to 3pm and I hadn’t heard from them so I called and was asked to collect Friday afternoon, by the point I said no. As they were pushing it back AGAIN. He said we can get it pushed through for you today (Thursday) and have it ready by 5:30pm. When I arrived it was still being cleaned so I had to wait for it to arrive back.
I eventually got my car back but when handing back the keys they asked for a £640 excess fee which I wasn’t not informed by them that I would have to pay on the spot today, this obviously adding to their poor communication between themselves and customers.
Throughout the whole process I have had to contact the hire car company back and forth to inform them of what’s happening.
This is really poor customer service, as well as a bad customer experience. Looking at other reviews it seems this has happened to more than just myself. A little bit of ownership for the poor communication wouldn’t go a miss.
I have informed my insurance of my poor experience and they are escalating the issue.

Avoid - at all costs!
If I could take the one star away and give 0 I would.
My car was in for repair and after 3 long weeks it was returned to me with rippling paint work.
For a 'prestige repair centre' the C3 courtesy vehicle was beyond a joke. From a 7 seater vehicle to one that I couldn't get 2 car seats and my 2 children in at the same time! I was told that the C3 was the biggest car in their fleet!
The ZERO phone calls from day 1, when it should have been 1 a week. I had to make ALL the contact. The delays, the excuses and the terrible communication from Ashleigh was enough for me. Not to mention what REALLY goes on when it comes to vehicle repair. My car sat in the workshop for days before it was started all because I know someone who works there - what an utter disgrace. I'd love to know what part of the 'quality and end result' that Pronto talk about on their Social Media posts is a quality check of the work that was carried out.
Please don't send your car here or let your insurance company recommend this place to you as it's a stressful and unpleasant experience and not something anyone should go through.
To top it all off, Pronto Accident and Repair Centre Norwich were contacted and given the opportunity to put it right. Weeks and weeks with no call back, again, I left a message on their Social Media platform which has since been deleted and I have been blocked from making any further comments!
I have since spoken to the manager who called me on 19th Jan 22, and told me that he wants me to give them the chance to put it right. He offered me a Skoda, which all of a sudden was the biggest car in the fleet and when I said it wasn't much comparison to my Audi, he offered to hire me a Mercedes. I told him I'd think about it, do I really want to put my car back in the hands of this garage? So I called him back on the 26th Jan 22 at 9am. I was told he had just walked in to the office, he wasn't available to take my call, but he'd call me back.......today is the 1st Feb and I still haven't had that call back.
I'm beyond disappointed and reading some of the other reviews I now feel even more frustrated that this happened as it appears that other people have been given the service they deserve. Maybe because my car was an insurance referral it was shrugged off? Who knows, maybe one day I will get a call and all will be explained.

Excellent service from this company. My car was collected and a courtesy car left in its place. The repair was done quickly and to a great standard. We had a little confusion about returning my car but this was likely my error in not explaining my movements fully and was quickly remedied. Thank you for doing a great job!

Avoid!
Absolutely shocking experience with this company. My car has been with them for 3 months, and not once have I received a phone call from them - until today when I lodged a complaint. I have chased weekly for updates, but get lied to and given wrong information every time. They lost the car for the first week. There was a delay getting a part -which was out of their control- but since the part has been in (5 weeks ago) it has been confirmed today that they have done nothing. Last week I was told they’d painted the door the wrong colour so it needed to be redone, today I was told by the Bodyshop manager that it didn’t happen. Bodyshop manager rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Despite being audibly distressed on multiple occasions, I have NOT ONCE received an apology. Have been given multiple dates for completion and only started work on it today when lease company got involved- they thought I had my car back already as Pronto informed them yesterday. They clearly think this is all completely acceptable and reasonable. Working full time for the NHS and a mother of 5, I don’t have time to chase them for updates and I will never use or recommend them again.

I had accidentally put petrol instead of diesel in my car and my car was sent to these guys who were exceptional. Very unhappy
When I got into an accident my car got sent to pronto and they gave me weekly updates but when my car came back the battery was dead and things was missing and stuff was taken without my consent. When I rang up and asked about it they blamed me saying I killed the battery when it had just been delivered to me and I never got to drive it

My car went in for repair after an accident. Took 7 weeks to get the car back I had to keep chasing them as I never received updates as promised. After i recieved my car back i used it for 2 days and it produced an engine fault. I looked under the bonnet to find the coolant expansion tank was not secured air filter was not secured and the intercooler was not secured. Now the car is back with pronto in Boston and once again they have not made any attempts to contact me. Everytime I've gone to the reception just get fed some more lies and made up excuses.
