3 previous loans with p2p- no missed payments and all loans settled as they should of been- but refused a forth, Why? Seen this has happened to many and nothing has changed- if anything I earn more than what I did...strange company won't be back!!
Loyalty gets you no where
Been a loyal customer since 2012. I applied for a loan of £200 over the weekend after paying a loan off with them. Only wanted the loan for a week just to tide me over till payday but they refused. Loyalty gets you no where with this company.
5 loans I have had with them totalling over £3500 (not including interest)

They've lied constantly. Not done as they've said on several occasions. Made promises and never followed them through. Not to be trusted. Never read emails, contradict their colleagues. How have they won anything

Agents are unaware of basic information. Conflicting information given on more than one occasion and payments not correctly credited

Horrible company
They deleted my last review because it mentioned a 3rd party marketplace (ie. me referring to selling something rather than use this company). I know this review won't help, because if you are in dire need of money you'll turn to anywhere that will accept you, but in my experience these people will belittle you, talk down to you, laugh at your questions and most importantly lie/ignore when you have a problem that needs rectified. You will regret taking money from these people, that much I can promise you.
The worst customer service imaginable
If you like to be hung up on, ignored and treated like you are some kind of low life then make sure you deal with this company, you will love them. If however, like me, you are a busy professional that believes in trust, integrity trust, transparency and excellent customer service move on to another provider as fast as you can.
If you do deal with them and have an issue don't expect a reply ever!

Never had a problem with p2p untill now , been a customer since 2012. Never ever missed a payment, in fact they always have offerd me a top up half way through loan,( never taken) . Aksed for a new loan , they said i could have up two £1110, so i asked for £1000 , no problem i was told on the 4.11.15, then on the 5.11.15 i was asked for proof of wages being paid into my bank, sent off statment, they text me to say they recieved it. They text me two say they now needed a full bank statement, which i sent off , they got back to me on the 6.11. 15 , to tell me they had got it, then nothing, checking my account on the 8. 11.15. They said i could not have a loan , as one was already outstanding , checked my account and payments were all set up for repayment, but when i checked my bank account still nothing payed in, so i rang p2p, after. A long phone call i was told that those who deal with faxs have still not passed it over, and she could not get in touch with them to find out why, and i would have to ring back after the weekend to find out the out come , even though they have set up repayments and i have not recived my loan, so it will be six. Full days untill i find out if im now gettting a loan, even though i was told on day one that it was ok,customer service had no real answers to why it seems that no department is in touch with each other, why she could not phone that deparment to find out what was going on and why the delay, was a mystry to me , still in the dark and none the wiser to what is going on.after long phone conversation.

Had various loans with this outfit, no problem, recently increased my limit to £1100, then went online tonight and just got a declined screen with no real explanation, phoned them and the staff weren't any help
Rubbish customer service Aisha
Had to change payment date due to change of contract. Spoke to some on separate occasions on telephone they arranged a payment holiday as payment date change they were great help sorry guys I didn't get your names but a credit to the company calls made to company on 19/08/15 and 15/10/2015so they would of had to log on to my account so you will know who they are.
Today 16/10/15 I logged on to my account after I received an email confirmation that changes had been made to be informed that my account is now in default contacted live help who were no help what so ever the first persons wouldn't even discuss my account with me because of said default status so connected me to Aisha what a waste of time I have noted the conversation if it is needed trying to tell me I have 3 payments left instead of two no one informed me either when yous arranged the payment holiday on the phone or in the email conformation nor mentioned it yesterday when I called and made my payment 2 weeks early really bad customer service Aisha I will call tomorrow to sort this out but for a customer that has used you since 2013 this is not good and never had a problem with my account until now

Taking them to court - Such a bad experience, stay away!
I applied only once with this company and my application was declined, I tried to re-apply after some time and I was told that I can never apply for rest of my life, neither I have any access to see my personal details on my account.
They have disqualified me to apply for rest of my life, and I don't even know what is the reason -despite of several requests i have made.
Now I have no option but to take this company to COURT against this descriminated action.
Early payment applied incorrectly and now have to pay twice in 1 month
I made an early repayment which I have done several times before and this time I have to still pay the interest for the month even though the principal amount is 0. No one was able to explain why the last 3 months I've paid early and only had to make 1 payment to cover what was owed, and this month I have to pay twice.
Unable to reapply even I am a previous customer
I was previously a customer with Pounds to Pocket, in which I paid and settled this loan last year.
I reapplied for a loan earlier this year, in which i was declined. With this being several months ago, when I have attempted to reapply, I am not given the option to update my file or even apply due to the previous denial.
When i used the LIVE CHAT option, I was told that due to being declined, I will never be able to apply with Pounds to Pocket again. This surprised me, as I previously took a loan out and settled it. Also, since my application, my employment status has changed, which I believe would improve my chances in applying. I was not even given the opportunity.
Although I appreciate that decisions are made on various factors and information obtained from CRAs, its disappointing that I am not even given the opportunity to update my file, and being advised that once I have been declined, thats it.

have had no real hassles with a pounds to pocket loan only thing i was not happy with was i didn't have the money to pay 1 of my installments the next day they took it and charged me 15 pound on top for missing it no prior communication just an email no text informing me i never payed just a text next day telling me they've taken it and the extra 15pound some company's give u 1 day grace to pay before charging u extra
Awesome customer service team
The Customer service team have excellent people skills, fast friendly and efficient. Poor credit rating in past but now up on my feet and needed emergency funds for car to get my promotion and pay rise!!Payments are easy set out and when it suits me and affordable for me to pay back. Loan companies get a lot of bad press, but they were thorough checking before loaning to me. I've used sister company quick quid once before with no problems. And I'm grateful for the help when I needed. Thank you
A good choice for a loan
This is a completely honest review of PoundstoPocket
After making some bad choices at university with my credit (taking out too many credit cards, buying a car on finance etc), I left with a poor credit score.
Whilst I have been gradually trying to rebuild it, my score is still quite low
I recently accepted a job abroad where I had to pay for my flights and initial accommodation and would be reimbursed for the amount once I arrived. I had just returned from travelling and was short on money so didn't have the one thousand pounds needed. All lenders said no apart from P2P who loaned me the full amount with a bit extra. The funds arrived quickly and the payment schedule is fair. All my payments have been on time except for one (I got my pay dates wrong) but rather than charge extortionate fees, they simply charged me a late fee of 12 pounds which is reasonable.
It's also great that you can log into your account and check your payment dates, schedules whenever you like, and pay more if you find yourself with extra cash one month.
Overall I am very happy with them. My only negative is that their interest payments are quite high, however if you have wrecked your credit I believe this to be fair as they are taking a risk with you
Give them a go - but only if you know you can afford the repayments
