Dan Murphy and Portfolio Boss is great! Not enough good things to say.

Way overdue review from me. I have been with Dan since Portfolio Boss' humble beginnings back in 2014. I believed from the jump in Dan's motivation, rock solid work ethics and vision to deliver on a groundbreaking piece of trading software. I committed 5-figures to fund the early versions that came out. Best decision I ever made. The innovative value of this app has blown past every single expectation that I had. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

I will refrain from bringing social proof to back up my opinion and go straight to the numbers. Over the years, PB allowed me to retire at 40, buy a penthouse with my extra profits, get funded, and rank in the top percentile (as high as top 0.11%) of traders in world renown third-party audit databases, whether with live-money or sim accounts, such as FundSeeder/RQSI, Collective2 or Darwinex. What else could you ask for?

I have traded quantitatively for nearly 25 years now. And no piece of software comes even close to PB. I was able to remove myself from the hassle of coding and finally be able to backtest decades of multi-system portfolios on a dime, seamlessly transposing math into rules and getting the results instantly, all the while enforcing algorithmic robustness by avoiding reliance on brute force optimization.

I am rather old school in my approach and have used the latest innovation (TAP data, AI) only sparingly. But I have no doubt that new school traders will equally find as much value in it as I did with the earlier features.

And last thing I will say, Dan is a man of his word. He is a straight-shooter who has always delivered on his promises, which is EXTREMELY rare in this space, especially when it comes to retail trading. And did I mention the stellar customer service with Ellen always available on quick notice; and Ruud, the lead programmer, who is an absolute wizard at what he does. The speed of the data processing in PB is a testament to his mastery of his C++ craft.

Portfolio Boss truly deserves more publicity and be allowed to decimate the entire competition. I was and continue to be blown away by the entire package and would recommend it to anyone. As a retail trader, PB offers you your best shot at success, and also removes any excuses that you still had for failing.

Kudos to Dan and his team for creating, backtesting and making available a wide range of strategies that produce amazing results with low risk, whether the market is going up, down or sideways. I've been with PB since the Atlas days. I sorta have a love hate relationship. I started because I loved the concept and I liked Atlas--still do. But sorta got left behind with all the updates and discussions which assume knowledge I don't/didn't have without time to keep trying to learn it. I know my fault. I have reached out a couple of times for assistance but always give up afterwards. Tried looking through the videos and usually stop at each step but don't use much to be truthful. Would like to start over and try again.

Long time follower of Dan- finally took the dive into Porfolio Boss recently. The training and education Dan provides is fresh, practical, upfront, focused on AI involvement and backtest results. Appreciate all your input and insightful comments.

The only thing holding me back from a 5 star is that I haven’t had the time, etc. to fully engage with the software.
I have made adjustments to change that. The next few months will be telling indeed. In the meantime, Dan and associates have been very helpful.

Working with Portfolio Boss since nearly 10 years, and the progress made in developing new products and methods is impressive. Nevertheless, users of the software have to "play" with the software until they find the solution which best fits to their style and aims. There is an infinite number of formulas possible which ensures that on self developed strategies, no two users will get the same results at the same time.

I have been following Dan for many years and I always been impressed by the information he was providing, but I never jumped in any of the services he was offering.

If you want consistent growth with low drawdowns in your stock trading account then Portfolio Boss is the way to go.
