The biggest rip off scammers in the healthcare for dogs 🐶 industry

Agreed to free sample packs of dog treats and pay $5 delivery fee only
When arrived my dog did not like the treats
I never agreed to any subscription or further orders as also headed away overseas
I left on a cruise 7 April to get email 2 days later on the 9 April to say my order was on its way that I never requested
6 emails later disputing their service, orders etc, still no reply even when I marked attention General Manager
Totally unacceptable service, non communication, and fraudulent business practices
Stay well clear
They are obviously a scam and fraudulent
Shut them down!!!

Terrible customer service

I asked them to cancel the subscription in October 2025! I told them their website wasn’t working and I needed their help. That’s what customer service is supposed to be for. They refused to help and they still keep charging me. These are just money grubby assholes who don’t give a shit about our animals. Shitty company shitty product.

I had to email them again to stop sending me this shit. I don’t even live at that address anymore.

Unauthorized Charge on Credit Card

Last night Dec 11th I got notified that a charge for 69$ was placed on my credit card from a company called Plutopets.co. I placed one order with them previously and DID NOT agree to any subscription. This totally caught me off guard. I emailed them immediately but got an AI response that it can take up to 4 days to get a response. There's nobody to talk to as the phone is an AI recording
Seeing how it's going to take up to 4 days for a response that means they're going to ship the product I didn't order out. I have no subscription as you will see on the screen shots that I took.

Do NOT order from this company

Do NOT order from this company! Do NOT sign up for a "free" sample! You pay shipping on the sample and you are automatically signed up for a subscription that you can not cancel! I got charged for a full order I didn't intend on purchasing, now I am having to jump through hoops to get my money back! They do not respond to emails, nor do they answer their phone! I will have to dispute the charge from my bank and keep on disputing every charge that occurs, unless this sketchy company cancels my subscription that I never approved of!

This company is 100% scam and has employees posting fake rebuttals to discourage peoples feelings and rights.
Friendly fraud lmfao did you pull this out of your arse? The company is knowingly and deliberatly sending products to people who didnt order them and making it impossible to cancel. They have nothing but fake addresses and phone numbers listed everywhere and you cant get a hold of anyone.
Consumers sue them in small claims. Eventually a class action lawsuit will ensue against them.

Deceptive and Poor Customer Service

After placing a trial order I saw it said this was a subscription for every 30-days. This was not noted clearly anywhere until after ordering. I did not have an account or anything, just placed an order online. It provided the support email on the order screen so I immediately emailed them and requested that they ensure I am not charged again as I did not sign up for a subscription. They did not cancel my subscription and in fact I was charged 15 days later for another order. Do not order anything from this company. There are much better pet supplement companies with less deceptive and better customer service practices. I will be going back to Wuffes.

Would give zero stars.

Wood give zero stars. Fell for the free sample, tiny bag, just paid shipping for 5.99. I didn’t read the fine print 👎🏻 they got me! They then proceeded to charge me $85.97! for two, took forever to arrive and I couldnt return, they made it very complicated. Worst thing is my dog hated them and the cats wouldn’t eat them either. Horrible product, horrible company, horrible scam. I’m positive that many people have fallen for this same scam.

“Free Trial” and Unauthorized Charges Be Careful

I ordered what was advertised as a “free trial” from Pluto Pets, not realizing it would automatically sign me up for a recurring subscription. I never received the reminder emails their policy claims they send before renewal. Without warning, I was charged nearly $100 and canceling was extremely difficult.

After several back-and-forth emails, I was finally refunded only part of the amount with no clear explanation. From what I’ve read online, other customers have been charged hundreds of dollars or hit with a 35% restocking fee.

Their responses are generic, their policies misleading, and the overall experience felt deceptive and exhausting.

I would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from this company it’s not worth the frustration or risk. SHAME ON YOU! This is how companies go out of business...where is the integrity these days?

Avoid purchasing from this company

I ordered from Pluto Pets (Dog Science LLC) in July 2025, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. The company sent me a duplicate shipment by mistake, then instructed me to return the product so they could issue a full refund.

I followed their instructions exactly, returned the items (with proof of delivery), and received multiple emails confirming that the full refund had been “processed” — including one message from their customer service representative stating that the restocking fee would also be refunded as promised.

However, after weeks of back-and-forth and repeated assurances, I only received a partial refund, with 35% withheld as a “restocking fee” — a charge that was never disclosed when they told me to return the items. Their customer service later admitted the language in their earlier messages was “unclear,” but refused to correct the refund even after acknowledging the confusion.

This kind of post-facto fee deduction when a return was made at the company’s own request feels misleading and unfair. The company has since stopped responding with any concrete resolution.
I recommend anyone considering ordering from Pluto Pets proceed with extreme caution. Based on my experience, their refund and communication practices are inconsistent and unreliable.

They claim you can do this thru your account.
There is no cancellation option and no option to return a product.
I have sent several emails and get back copy and pasted general information
When you call you get a recording but never receive a call back..

BEWARE! SHADY & PREDATORY COMPANY

I had an awful experience - just like MANY others! I ordered a sample & they took a total of $250 from my account!!!

I refused the packages I received so they got their products back & yet STILL took my money! All because I ordered a sample! They don't care about their customers & they must not have confidence in their products to do this to people. I guess when I ordered a sample, I was signing up for a subscription. Seriously. I had never even been to their website. I have many subscriptions. All of which I chose to create & set up a delivery schedule. Never have I experienced anything like this!

People BEWARE! They are ABSOLUTELY predatory & shady. Check out their complaints on the Better Business Bureau website!

Scam

You don't start risk free for 0 dollars. You pay 5 then in 2 weeks they will charge your card some absurd amount and they will not return your money. It's a predatory company just Google them. Further more the product doesn't work, you pay 50 bucks for around 40 treats that one of my dogs won't even eat. Waste of time energy and money. I will find every social you have just to let people know.

LOVE PLUTO

LOVE PLUTO! So my dog Lexi is a 12 year old shihtzu and it broke my heart that she was not able to jump up onto the couch anymore. We tested so many different products, but with her being a bit picky it was tough to find something that she would eat and that would help her. I gave pluto a test and my dog first off loved the treats. 3 weeks in we almost teard up when she jumped up onto the couch!! It's like she has a new jolt of energy everyday, could not be more happy.
