This was my first visit to Planit and must say the whole team were professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
Will definitely use their services again.

Very friendly, approachable, helpful, and caring staff.
Lots of choice. I'm an indecisive person, but with Phil's help, I found two pairs in less than 10 minutes. One pair for reading and one for distance.

They were ready to collect very quickly. Unfortunately, due to having a bad fall whilst I was using my crutches that I have to use for an autoimmune condition I have. I had to wait a few weeks before I could collect them. I collected them yesterday and I couldn't be happier with both pairs.

Kath and Phil were very caring and helpful. Kath assisted me to the chair, and she held the chair for me so that it wouldn't move when I sat down. Phil assisted me with trying on my new glasses. He even picked up one of my crutches which fell to the floor. He even held them for me when I got up out of the chair. He also assisted me to the door, and opened it for me. He even offered to assist me to walk out of the shop, down the step, on to the pavement.

On both occasions I have been in Plan-it Opticians, Phil has taken the time to have conversations with me, and showed genuine interest. I didn't ever feel rushed. He's a true gentleman. I wish I had started using this Opticians years ago. I definitely won't ever be going anywhere else. Thank you Plan-it Opticians. 🥰😍

I had always been to High St chains & always thought I’d never be able to afford independent Opticians. I also didn’t think NHS eye tests would be done.
How wrong I was!
I went into Plan-it Opticians & received a fantastic service from start to finish with Phil. He gave in-depth advice with no pressure to purchase whatsoever. I ended up going back & ordering a pair of glasses with Zeiss lens. They were back to be picked up in less than one week! I was so very pleased with them in every way.

Purchased a pair of prescription Oakley sunglasses and im glad I went to planet opticians. The service was excellent taking me through all the different options. Was told a wait time of 10 days but arrived within a week all the way from Italy. Would highly recommend planit opticians to anybody. Thanks for a brilliant service and experience.

Appointments are well organised so there are no inconvenient long waits. Once started, the whole process from testing to choice of eyewear is quick but never rushed, you do not have to wait long to collect your new glasses, neither are you pressed to buy new glasses if there is only a very small change in the prescription. At all times you are treated as a valued customer and aftercare is excellent.

Our family have been going to Plan-it Opticians for approximately seven years since we moved to the area. The service you get from Phil and his team is excellent. Phil's passion for his profession and his business is obvious. The choice of frames are excellent. My wife and I are big Tom Ford fans and have purchased all our glasses and sunglasses from Phil. The eye tests are provided on plan every two years and the process is not rushed like some high street opticians. We'd highly recommend Plan-it if your looking for some fabulous glasses and great service.

I need quite a complex lens which other opticians have struggled to get right, because I wear my spectacles all the time it's also important that they fit correctly to get the best out of the lenses... It's because of these important factors that I use Planit...the suggested Ziess drivesafe photochromic poly carbonate Vario focal lenses are simply fantastic, brilliant quality lenses properly fitted into the frame of my choice,Phil used all of the technology at his disposal to ensure that a superb product was produced very very quickly and at a very competitive price,the after sales service is something other opticians could certainly learn from, cleaning & adjustments to keep your glasses in perfect shape is just a case of droping into Planit.. these are the fourth pair of spectacles that I've purchased through Planit and simply the best ones yet.

Five star optician. Phil and his team have looked after all four of my family’s eyes and glasses for about 8 years. Going anywhere else is just not an option. We don’t visit the optician,we visit Phil. Plan it has a wide range of glasses covering various price points, right up to Tom Ford.My husband has also purchased Oakleys for cycling and I’ve also recommended them to my dad who needed them for driving.Excellent customer service, no pushy sales. Colne has a real gem with this business.

Both myself and my husband have received excellent attention over the last few months. My test showed i needed new lenses in my glasses and my husband was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. The Plan-it team were superb in arranging the operations and providing superb advice & after-care.
Cannot recommend them enough!

Got recommended planit from a friend. From the moment I entered the shop I was made to feel welcome from the pleasant receptionist. The initial eye test was really thorough like none I’d had before. Then I got introduced to Phil who is a really nice man and certainly knows what he is talking about. He talked me through all types of lens manufacturers and his advice was spot on. My lenses are varifocals and got used to them the minute I wore them. Can’t praise Phil and his team highly enough, and will recommend at every opportunity.
