The foam is nice and helps me to be more conscious of my sleeping habits. However, I tried it out for 3 months and felt zero relief for my neck pain. I'd like to suggest this pillow to others, but it's too expensive for how little it does.

Fast shipping! I was hoping it would be better.for side sleeping. The video made it look better with arm under head, but over all its a good pillow.

My husband has neck problems and the pillows we’ve tried did not help. This one is very comfortable for him and he has a good nights sleep as a result.

I had two cervical spine fusion surgeries about 25 years ago, so I’ve had neck and back pain for a long time. I have purchased many pillows, but still tolerated pain.

Last year, I became bedridden with chronic Lyme Disease and 10 co-infections. My body became extremely tender and Lyme causes extreme neck pain, so I couldn’t tolerate my pillow or three that we purchased. I finally found one that was soft, but my neck is still very unstable and the pillow has been tolerated at best. I constantly try to adjust it, and I couldn’t live without my chiropractor.

Well, my PILLO1 Original Latex arrived today, and I was thrilled by how soft it was! I laid down on it and actually felt my neck muscles beginning to relax, which just doesn’t happen. My muscles are NEVER relaxed because of the infection load my body currently carries. Before I knew it, I woke up three hours later!

I have had bilateral frozen shoulders for 13 months, so my shoulders and trapezius muscles still hurt, but my neck is much better than this morning. I will try to update, but I believe this pillow is going to help the frozen shoulders because they fit perfectly in somewhat under the sides of the pillow. The side sleeping areas are so nice, and my head “cushes” right into them.

I apologize that this review is long, but if you had any idea of the constant, severe pain my body endures, you would understand how over the moon I am to find a pillow that works. I can’t wait to sleep on it tonight!

I tried the pillo1 for 2 weeks as a loaner from my Chiropractor and despite the size which I knew would be different (I purchased a smaller one) the material isn't the same. The product I purchased is a very expensive piece of foam. Not, at all what is advertised. I understand the shape is important but the material used is what shapes to our physical proportions and helps for a more comfortable sleep.

I ordered this pillow because my neck was killing me. I sleep on my sides. My neck at times is better and other times no change. I am going in for a massage again on my neck. Time will tell. I may call the doctor and see what can he recommend.

Since sleeping on my Pillo1, I have NOT had ANY neck or shoulder pain upon waking. Still trying to get used to sleeping on my back, the little humps are kind of awkward- but so far it is all working out beautifully. :)

I waited 9 months to complete this review to provide my fully tested impressions of the Pillo1. I purchased the Latex version of the original Pillo1 in Oct 2018, so my opinions are related to this specific pillow. In 2014, I had total disc replacement surgery in which a stainless steel Prestige device was surgically implanted between my C6-C7 vertebrae in my neck. While this resolved a painful pinched nerve condition, it created other neck and back pain issues that have caused chronic pain ever since (24/7). As a result, I have had great difficulty reaching REM sleep, much less sleeping through the night. I believed the pillow I used was causal to this condition and hampered sound sleep. I went on a "quest" to find the perfect pillow (and mattress) to resolve some of these issues and have tried 8 different "therapeutic" pillows...each promising superior support to achieve the natural curvature of the neck while you sleep. All failed, even after giving them ample time to break in and me time to adjust (months of use in all cases). This brings me to Pillo1. I read the "hype" by Dr. Hall which sounded eerily familiar with many other ads I'd fallen for in the past...but, there was something different about the construction, materials, and reviews that I read. So, I reluctantly found a nice coupon code to reduce the price of the Latex version (as I value a "cool" pillow and organic materials near my face) and placed my order. From night 1, I knew there was something VERY different about this pillow. It adequately upheld my neck and cradled my head as I slept on my back and the sides worked great when I transitioned to side sleeping (I'm a combo position sleeper). Now that I've used this pillow for 9 months, I can say with great certainty that it contributes to MUCH BETTER SLEEP than I experienced in the 4 years after my surgery using many other 'experimental' pillows. And, 9 months later, the latex construction and cotton pillow encasement has held up pretty well. I greatly prefer the softer Talalay Latex construction over memory foam or the dense/hard Polyurethane foams I've used in the past, but I'd prefer the wedge neck extension to be constructed of the more dense Dunlop Latex, as Dunlop is a bit more firm and allegedly lasts longer. Also, an additional benefit that I didn't expect while sleeping on my back was that the side panels slightly cover my ears allowing for some sound deadening which has been beneficial for me to fall asleep faster. So, why 4 stars and not 5? While this is the very best pillow I've used post-surgery, it could use a couple improvements. First, the latex pillow does soften a bit over time, as you would expect. While this is not a deal-breaker, it is most noticeable with the wedge extension for the cervical contour of your neck, which now requires more adjustment on my part to find the "sweet spot". Also for me, the "well" that cradles your head is not deep enough...I noticed this early on, but it seems to have gotten more pronounced over time (probably because of the neck contour softening). While an insert is included with your Pillo1 to raise your head, there is no way (short of modifying the pillow and voiding the warranty) to lower your head further in the well to ensure your neck is adequately cradled. Although this pillow is not perfect, my final conclusion is that it is undoubtedly the best neck/spine conforming pillow I have ever used. So much so, that I'll undoubtedly be a repeat customer when this one wears out (if it ever does!). I only hope that Dr. Hall reads these reviews to learn how a more customized design (e.g. deeper head well; firmer neck contour) may benefit many customers with neck/spine issues. I hope this review was helpful for those desperately seeking a solution for better neck support and sound sleep.

It is the best pillow on the market, i have tried them all, because of my cervical herniated disc. It is the only one really offering comfort in both back and side sleep. Now, that being said, it is the second one i buy, only because of height problems, and the second one still doesn't fit completely. Sleeping on the back is perfect, but sleeping on the side is always too high. I have bought medium high, in 2015, had to sell it. Bought now the low profile, and it is still too high. The pillo1 is too expense to go on buying when it is just too high, and i live in australia, so the cost of return makes return impossible. And communication with the company isn't smooth: pillo1 doesn't answer my messages just about sending the pillow to australia. I have to buy in the US, and wait for some friend to bring it along. Or buy it through ebay, which prices are much higher. I maybe should try the memory foam version, to get a softer pillow, that could match better my needs, but don't even know how to get it to Australia. I do believe the pillow should be more customisable, as in horizontal sides layer, that you could peel away according to your personal need/height/comfort feel. Each layer could be 1 or 2 cm thick, and doesn't have to go to the bottom but just to the middle of the sides deep. For now i try to cut them myself, but it is hard and not exact, as cutting foam needs professional saw. In any case, it is still the best, in concept and in back sleeping.

Perhaps a little early to write a review as was away for a few days when it arrived, so have used it for only two nights.
1st night: Know it did suggest trying only for a couple hours initially, but was bedtime when we returned home to find it had arrived, but wanted to give it a try. So, used it for the entire 7 hour night. Sleep was fair, but had a headache and sore neck in a.m.
2nd night: used pillow again all night——slept very well —-no headache or sore neck.
Pleased with my new adventure with this pillow.

Have been sleeping on it for a couple weeks now. Pretty decent pillow, but still not the the answer to all my pillow needs.

I have severe arthritis in my cervical spine and problems with lordosis. I had hoped the Pillo1 would allow me to sleep comfortably but it didn't work out for me. I'm a small person and ordered the size small pillow. The rise of memory foam pillow is 4.5 inches in the front. I woke up with two numb hands. The Pillo1 might work great for people but for a small person with serious neck issues it was definitely the wrong solution. I'm working with PIllo1 now to return the pillow.

at last! A pillow that is everything it says it is! i have a stack of pillow rejects: fiberfill side sleeper pillows, old Tempur-Pedic side sleeper pillows, super-expensive pillows, cheap knock-off pillows, I have tried them all-- hard pillows, soft pillows, big pillows, small pillows-- surely, I thought, there must be a pillow in existence that is soft yet supportive, shaped to support my neck without squashing my shoulder. And there is. And this is it. The best pillow, the most comfortable pillow on which i have ever rested my head. I'm not exaggerating when I say it has changed my life.
