I set up an annuity through Pense. They communicated quickly and efficiently throughout the relatively lengthy annuity process and they went the extra mile to secure the best offer for me. An early paperwork error was quickly rectified and the entire team is very customer focused. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I wanted to obtain a pension Annuity and after some initial discussions and projections with Kirk I I felt completely comfortable and at ease with the due process and return I would have. James Allott provided a comprehensive review of all my options for retirement. On subsequently choosing an annuity he then found the best rate for me. Despite Pense's best efforts there were unexcusible delays from both the investment company and the chosen annuity provider. This lead to expiry of the original annuity quote. However James moved quickly and obtained an even higher quote. Then the hard work started from both Amber and Harriet to fast track the transfer of funds for the annuity. They dealt with the two companies in such an efficient and persistent manner that I nicknamed them the Rottweilers! They never let go until not only was the annuity in place but they even acquired compensation from both companies for their tardiness!

I am retired and wanted security for my wife also, who is just a few months from retirement. With my pension I didn't want any investment risk with the markets anymore. I cannot fault Pense, after a couple of telephone appointments lasting about one hour per call, our financial adviser built a portfolio of my wife and my situation. The financial adviser could then confidently recommend what we should do with my retirement pension, the financial adviser said the best thing for us is a lifetime annuity pension. Transferring and moving my pension from where it was, our financial adviser told us which company was offering the best lifetime annuity pension. Our financial adviser filled in all the forms which we signed to apply for a lifetime annuity. All details of the lifetime annuity pension, were explained to us in detail and how it works. From start to completion of our lifetime annuity pension, we were allocated a lady from Pense to manage our application. This lady was also excellent, keeping us informed with how our pension transfer from one business to the lifetime annuity pension business application was progressing. Every Friday the lady at Pense emailed me, explaining how every stage has been completed. From start to completion it took about 4 weeks, all went through very smoothly.

I decided, having reached 55 years of age, that I would like to access my private pension pot, with a view to using it to fill the 12 year gap until I'm eligible for the state pension (assuming the pension age goalposts aren't moved between now and then!) Having requested some information from a third party Pense reached out to me, and I can honestly say that my experience of dealing with them has been smooth & efficient from start to finish. Although technically I went for an "unadvised" service, the guidance they provided at every step of the process was excellent.
All of the staff are professional & efficient. During the early stages of advising my options, Richard and Ross were particularly helpful, then Russell guided me through the initial application process. Once the application was in progress, I was kept updated at every stage by Amber, Chloe & Lauren. Emails were answered promptly, and any telephone calls were friendly & reassuring. It's been a pleasure to deal with each and every one of them.
Overall, as someone who isn't a financial expert by any means, I am very glad to have discovered Pense and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and their services.

I was having problems with my pension. I contacted Pense, and spoke to Kirk who was most helpful. He contacted my pension provider with my permission to obtain a copy of my pension forecast and then advised me on how to proceed. All this was done with no cost to me. I would recommend Pense, they were most helpful and kept me informed every step of the way.

Our initial consultation was with Ross Taylor, who was very helpful, explaining the process and answering all our queries. Our second consultation was with Kirk Yeoman's who gave us an updated quote due to changes in circumstances, again being very helpful. We were guided throughout the process, including help where we needed it, and received regular updates until it's conclusion, from Amber, Chloe, Katie and Harriet - thank you all.

I engaged with a number of well known established annuity companies who all guaranteed the highest annuity rate and also some lesser known companies. Pence were by far the easiest to deal with, Russell gave excellent advice during the quote process and thanks to him I got the best quote of all the companies I was dealing with, which I am delighted with. Once the quote was accepted Amber kept me informed on a weekly basis right up to receiving my first annuity payment. To sum Pence up they got me the best deal and gave me a great service in every step of the process and a big thank you to Russell and Amber.

Excellent service from start to finish. I had been pondering on what to do with my small Sipp pension pot and a small works pension for a while, after contacting a few advisors I opted for Pense and I am so glad I did.
