A fantastic place to visit, with great staff who always welcome you with a smile and a conversation. Lovely fashions, books and footwear as well as lots of beautiful and unusual plants. The cafe is superb and another bonus is that it's dog friendly.

My friend purchased a settee from pendle village mill .
Unfortunately when she got it home it wasnt as comfortable as she had hoped.
Feeling very disappointed she contacted the mill who were very understanding.They invited her to come and choose another settee ,which she did and they arranged to exchange this for her original purchase.Every effort was given in helping her choose a comfortable settee which she now has.A brilliant service.Thank you pendle village mill.

I went to purchase a chair for my disable mum. I had to ask for the VAT exemption which everyone is entitled to by law and should be displayed with the product. Was told this ‘discount’ would be given. I then asked if I could have the display model as my mum is in need of a chair now. The salesperson then asked the manager and was told that the usual 10% given on ex-display would not be given as I had already been offered a ‘discount’!
Needless to say I have gone elsewhere to spend my money and with such a poor attitude to disabled rights, I will not be returning for any further purchases.

The new layout is lovely and a joy to walk around, as is the cafe.

Pendle Village were paid for items four months ago. This company still has the money but has not delivered the items. This is scandalous. Had we gone to Dunelm, we would have had our items months ago. The manager has promised that we will receive what we've paid for so we live in hope.

My mother ordered bedroom furniture in November and was informed the delivery would be in ten weeks
It is now nearing the end of march, and still nothing.
There's been no communication from pendle village furniture department, I have had to ring numerous times, only to be ignored or told they are trying to sort out how to contact the supplier, and how difficult it was for them.
I have rung again today at 10am to be told they would ring back in half an hour, it's 1145 now and as I suspected no call.
My advice to all customers is go elsewhere do not pay upfront as it would seem once they have your money they couldn't care less about you or your delivery.
After writing this review and having to contact the store again , the company offered to pay assembly costs , as a goodwill gesture we have accepted this offer, I understand its been frustrating for both parties... but still no furniture !
It is now the 2nd of April and still no communication from the furniture dept as to a delivery date ?
5 months later and my mother has finally received her furniture today 13th of April

We bought an expensive bed and mattress with a guarantee.
The mattress (highgrove)started to slope at both sides, (we felt like we were sliding off it).
We visited and phoned the bed department several times ,they told us they had changed there computer system and had no record of our purchase.

Just had a new stairs carpet fitted & its gorgeous. Found exactly what I wanted in store at a great price and the staff were great ! The fitters did an excellent job and were top guys too :-) Cannot recommend this place highly enough & ill never go anywhere else now.
Keep doing what you're doing cos it works !

I bought light beige two Italian Leather sofas at this mill shop.

About 18 months later, both sofas were starting to lose their colour, despite the fact that they have only had very Iight use, we don't have any children or dogs for example.

I returned to the shop with one of the loose cushions, showed it to the manager and explained what was happening.

He asked me how old the sofas were and when I told him he simply said, 'well they are only guaranteed for 12 months'.

We had a long and heated discussion, followed by a visit from an 'expert' who was totally clueless and said the sofas were dirty, but refused my offer to have him clean them.

After two further visits back to see the manager and further arguments, I gave up and called in my own expert.

The sofas are poor quality and possibly manufactured in China then sold as Italian leather. The beige colour is applied as a sprayed on finish and this was rubbing off the leather, even with baby wipes, so that tells you how bad the quality is.

I have had an estimate of £250 to rectify the sofas.

Take my advice and AVOID this dreadful outlet.
