I purchased a Samsung fridge freezer from curry's pc world on the 15/4/25 I also purchased cover plan and paid for installation, today 22/3/26 I awoke to my kitchen being flooded because the water pipe connecting the mains water to the fridge that the curry's engineer had connected had come off resulting in water gushing out into my kitchen, all over power outlets, cooker and destroying my laminated flooring, my main circuit fuse box tripped luckily or there would of been a fire. Four hours later after cleaning up the mess and calming my pregnent wife down as she was in shock due to the damage I went to curry's pc world and explained my experience and asked them to send an engineer out to reconnect the water pipe and assess the damage and if the fridge was safe to use as it was covered in water. The staff member called customer service and explained the situation, customer services refused to send anyone out to my address as nine months had passed since purchased, so I sent a complaint by email to customer service as this level of care is outrageously bad, not to mention the damage to my kitchen and my wife's distress, I highly recommend that people do not shop at curry's pc world, as they treat customers like garbage, I expressed my concerns regarding safety due to the water damage, never the less they wouldn't act, at this point i have a fridge that we are scared to plug in due to the water, and pc world couldn't care less, they shouldn't be aloud to treat customers in this way. AVOID CURRY'S PC WORLD at all costs

HORRIFIC customer service. Will never buy from currys again - 4 weeks awaiting a response with a different staff member responding every week with an indifferent reply. No support or resolution to any issues presented, horrific experience and would highly recommend shopping elsewhere.

How are they getting away with not refunding or replacing items purchased in their retail branches?.

I have no intention of emailing you, negotiating with you, so do not even insult my intelligence by offering it, you dumb arses.
It is simple, I will just never buy anything from PC World / Currys. Real simple.
Lost a customer here, and that is no problem. Amazon takes up the slack for your incompetence :o).
Good luck surviving a ruthless world where customers have had enough of being treated like crap.

Complete time wasters. I ordered a fridge and delivery was organised for Thursday 08/01 in the afternoon for which I took time off work. I received a call to say it would be delivered within the next 30 minutes. This came and went and then I received a call from customer service to say it wouldn’t be delivered due to an issue with the van which I understand these things happen however we agreed for delivery the following day in the afternoon, again taking time off work.
I then received a call at 9am to say they were on their way, I was not at home so they said I would receive a call for it to be delivered in the afternoon. I never received a call so I called customer service at 2pm to say it would be delivered and I would receive a call. At 17:15 I called again and was told the delivery had been cancelled and would not be delivered for another week on the 15th.
They never even bothered to call me to say the delivery had been cancelled just left me sitting at home waiting for them and you can’t track the delivery online as they had cancelled the delivery on the first day.

Do not believe when Currys respond with the following on trustpilot "Dear Guy, I am sorry to learn about the issues.........." because this is what happened straight afterwards. I will take the case to CCPC.

Took my Samsung Ring into PCworld/ Currys as the battery was not lasting more than 1 day, at this point it was still under warranty for another three weeks. Took everything with me including charging station, charger etc. Left it with them. A week later got a phone call telling me they needing the charging station and charger. Took that in as requested. Another week later I get another phone call telling me that the Ring goes back to Samsung as PCworld do not fix them. By the time I could get back to Bury St Edmunds branch to pick it up the warranty had run out. Spoke to the manager about it who to be honest didn't really care. Many thanks PCworld great after sales service!

UPDATE** ive finaly received a response from currys ireland and m im right back where i started. Tbeyve said im outside of the "return window"- what does that even mean?? Its a fridge. I expect it to last over a year. Its clearly faulty. They want me to call for a repair which ive repeatedly said i am not interested in as the repair previously failed. This is months with food being destroyed and complete lack of communication. The worst customer service ive ever experienced. STEER CLEAR. *** Orginal review***I’ve been trying for months to get a response from this company about a faulty fridge and have been completely ignored. The fridge stopped working shortly after the guarantee period it was bought july 2024, was repaired just outside that guarantee, and the repair has clearly failed.
The fridge now freezes unpredictably, causing food to be ruined. I’m currently pregnant, and the stress of worrying about food safety is overwhelming. I can’t trust that food stored in the fridge is safe, which is not something anyone should have to worry about — especially during pregnancy.
With Christmas approaching, I’m also anxious about hosting, as I can’t rely on the fridge not to fail again. A fridge is a basic household essential and should reasonably last for years.
Because the repair has failed and there has been no communication whatsoever despite repeated attempts to contact the company, I no longer trust their repair process or their commitment to resolving this issue. For this reason, I am seeking a refund rather than another repair.
I am still hoping this review will prompt the company to finally respond and resolve this properly.

I have had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with when ordering from Currys. I placed an order that included a Ninja blender, a Dyson V10 vacuum, and an LG washing machine. Two of the items were marked as delivered to my neighbour, but my neighbour confirmed they never received anything. The delivery photo clearly shows a completely different property – a green door and flooring that do not exist anywhere near my home. On the same day, DPD confirmed to me that the parcels were lost or misdelivered.
Despite this, Currys repeatedly failed to resolve the issue. I contacted them through live chat, emails, and phone calls (five times), and even provided proof from DPD and from my neighbour. Currys acknowledged the items were missing and said an investigation was raised, but days passed with no update and no solution.
To make things worse, the washing machine arrived faulty. Currys replaced it, but the replacement was also faulty and even damaged my clothes. Again, I reported this multiple times, but no effective action was taken.
I have never had to chase a retailer this much just to get basic support. I provided every piece of evidence they asked for, followed every instruction, and still received no proper resolution. Very disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering from Currys.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The initial meet-and-greet at the door was rude and unwelcoming. When another member of staff approached to help me collect my product, the first staff member was also rude to them and then intentionally served a customer who arrived after me.
I was then directed to the back of the store where two elderly members of staff did not acknowledge or assist me at all. This showed a lack of organisation and inability to properly prioritise their workload.
As a result, I am now left with a product that is of no use to me due to the poor service received. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.

Company needs to honour consumer law rights.
I bought a gas cooker 4 years ago and it's stopped working the oven, not heating properly. I call customer service and the answering machine refers me to the store in Waterford. The store referes me back to customer service or consumer rights. Consumer rights say they need to repair, replace or refund. I hope common sense will prevail or further action will be taken. Further to posting this review, and Tracy offering support, but yet did not reply to my email after I responded, and customer service agents, Shivam takes 4 days to respond and then can only ask for more information and takes 4 days again to respond, and finally today I get another phone number and speak with Sibongile from customer service who has assured I should get a call in 7-10 business days. She was helpful and only person who has, but yet I wait for a resolution here. Not sure ill ever buy a product in any currys store again as customer service is horrendous.

Bought a new oven 14/08/25 along with several other items for our new home, collected the items 01/10/25, my electrician came to install the oven and hob, the oven had a major fault and was not safe, I called Curry's and was informed a repair guy would be out to inspect the oven, 10 days later and still no sign of any repair guy. I have to say this has been my worst experience ever. I hope and pray that no other appliance gives trouble.

Where do I begin with my nightmare experience in curry's electronics in Enfield en1
I'm a Disabled Person and I went to curry's ENFIELD to buy a rangemaster cooker.
I was there one hour waiting to be served by a sales assistant which none of them was nowhere to be seen for one whole hour me and ten other customers was waiting to be served.
Me and the other customers lost our temper and started to shout we need service and all hell broke out.
Curry's in Enfield is a total disgrace of a store , it either needs to be closed down or the c.e.o needs to be a secret undercover shopper to find out himself what a disgrace store it is.
If I could give a minus star 🌟 I will
Curry's ENFIELD is a disgrace
And the staff are a disgrace as sales assistants close the store down

The delivery person threw the package over the gate at the side of my house and we found it when one of my dogs picked it up in his mouth. There was no communication on delivery no message or phone call . The package contained a smart watch that I had bought for a gift. I know have to open it up and check if it's actually working. I spent my hard earned money for someone to throw it into my garden like a piece of rubbish. I would never order anything online again from Curry's.

Totally disappointed with attempt to buy tablet in Currys Galway. I have Currys digital voucher and want to use to buy new tablet. Model we like is on display but out of stock for a few weeks already. They not able to order it. And most shocking when we tried to buy it online they do not accept their own digital vouchers!!! You can use it only in a shop !!! Looks like their payment system never upgraded since 1999. Won't consider this company for my future purchases.

What a Scam!
I bought a Kitchen Aid branded £600 worth kitchen appliance from Curry's. Item failed after a month. I brought back to Curry's , they rejected to take it and directed to manufacturer. Manufacturer doesn't respond to any requests emails or phones. Trying to get my money back. Will take to court if needed at the end. What a team of scammers. Will never buy anything from Curry's anymore. Argos is a reliable seller will go and buy anything from there. Stay away from this company.
